Device on a paper machine for evenly distributing the pulp-water mixture. The invention relates to a device on a paper machine for evenly distributing the pulp-water mixture in a box extending over the entire width of the paper machine.
The pulp-water mixture generally comes from a vat via the regulating and mixing chamber, refining devices, such as cone pulp mills or the like, and cleaning devices, such as knot catchers, pipe blowers or the like, in pipelines to the paper machine.
There is a need to transfer the material flow from the circular cross-section of the pipeline to a cross-section corresponding to the width of the paper machine, in such a way that the amount and speed of the mixture emerging from the rectangular cross-section are absolutely the same at every point across the width; because only in this way is it possible to produce a fibrous web that is evenly thick and heavy over the entire width.
There are devices are known in which this distribution happens in special, usually arranged below the head of the paper machine boxes, which are essentially as long as the paper machine is wide and the length of a sloping, vertical partition are divided in such a way that two rejuvenating or widening departments are created, to which the fiber-water mixture on opposite end faces - and in each case on the wide cross-section - is fed. The mixture, which is evenly distributed in the boxes, flows across the full width up to the paper machine via the partition wall, which does not lead to the top of the box.
Since the two divisions of the box are designed with a tapering cross-section when the mixture enters, the pulp - # VaSSer mixture is forced to flow over the partition wall into the riser to the paper machine.
These known designs have the disadvantage that the outflow of the pulp water mixture from the conical distribution boxes takes place directly into the riser to the paper machine, so that, apart from a certain mixing due to the cross-sectional constriction, there is no white when it passes from the part boxes into the riser Further intensive mixing takes place and that the mixture in the lower part of the boxes remains in this for an uncontrollably long time.
There is a risk that pulp and especially the heavier fillers will be deposited in the lower parts and then reach the paper machine in chunks and cause irregularities in the pulp web.
The invention avoids these disadvantages in that the distribution chamber is divided into three chambers by two walls arranged in its longitudinal direction and parallel to one another, of which the outer chambers taper in the longitudinal direction of the distribution box Inflow lines and the middle mixing chamber are connected at their upper limit to the inflow to the paper machine, and that the outer inflow chambers are connected to the middle mixing and outflow chamber through gaps in the partition walls.
The gaps can be arranged horizontally or vertically or even at an angle, either continuously over the entire length of the partition walls or also divided into individual smaller lengths.
Since the air separated from the pulp mixture collects on the cover of the distribution chamber due to its low specific weight, it is advantageous if this is designed to rise slightly after the inlet to the paper machine.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown schematically, namely Figs. 1 to 3 show the feed to a long screen paper machine and Fig. 4 to 6 the feed to a cylinder mold machine with air separation chamber, Fig. 7 to 8 the distribution box with a Perforated roller and Fig. 9-13 cross-sections through various designs of the distribution box.
The stock feed to a Fourdrinier paper machine according to FIGS. 1 to 3 consists of the feed pipes 1 and 2, which bring the fiber-water mixture from the vat or the mixing, regulating, refining and cleaning devices The distribution box 6 consisting of the two outer conical inflow chambers 3 and 4 and the central mixing chamber 5, the riser 7 and the outlet nozzle 10 consisting of a fixed lower lip 8 and an adjustable upper lip 9, from which the mixture flows onto the sieve 12 surrounding the breast roller 11 .
The stock feed to a cylinder mold paper machine according to Fig. 4 to 6 also consists of the feed lines 1 and 2, the distribution box 6 consisting of the two outer chambers 3 and 4 and the central chamber 5 and the riser 7, which contains the pulp-water mixture in the trough 13 leads in which the cylinder 14 rotates.
For excretion of the air from the pipes and distribution boxes are in the executions according to Fig. 1 to 8 immediately before the substance entry in the conical supply chambers 3 and 4 and over the Zuflussroh Ren 1 and 2 cylindrical chambers 15 angeord net, in which the air separated from the fiber-water mixture collects, and each is equipped with a valve 16 for venting the air.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and 8, a driven perforated roller 17 is arranged in the center box 5 between the outer feed boxes 3 and 4 of the distribution box 6 and is mounted in the end walls 18 and 19 of the distribution box. The fiber-water mixture must pass through this perforated roller before entering the riser 7 and is kept in constant intense movement and thoroughly mixed. This version is suitable for machines with strongly changing drive speeds or for heavily weighted papers.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 9, the partitions 21 and 22 between the outer conical feed chambers 3 and 4 and the middle miselia chamber 5 leave gaps 23 and 24 open on the lid 25 of the distribution box 6 through which the fiber-water mixture from the outer chambers passes into the middle chamber. In order to ensure thorough mixing of the two partial flows from chambers 3 and 4 and at the same time an intensive flushing effect in the middle chamber 'a z11,
is. With this arrangement of the slots on the lid of the distribution box, the riser 7 is guided to the paper machine in the central chamber. In the embodiment according to FIG. 10, the partition walls 21 and 22 between the side chambers 3 and 4 and the central chamber 5 are not led all the way down to the bottom 26 of the distribution box 6, so that gaps 23 and 24 are created at the bottom of the distribution box, through which the fiber-water mixture can pass.
With this arrangement of the slots on the bottom of the distribution box, good mixing of the partial flows and at the same time an intensive flushing effect in the central chamber is ensured, so that the riser 7 to the paper mill can be arranged directly on the cover 25 of the distribution box can.
In the embodiment of FIG. 11, the gaps 23 and 24 in the partitions 21 and 22 between the outer sub-chambers 3 and 4 and the central chamber 5 of the distribution box 6 are approximately in the middle between the cover 25 and the bottom 26 of the distribution box , which has the advantage that the partition walls can be firmly connected to the lid and the base on both sides.
In the execution of the distribution box according to Fig. 12 are - similar to the implementation of Fig. 10 - the partitions 21 and 22 between the side chambers 3 and 4 and the central chamber 5 not all the way down to the bottom 26, so that at the bottom of the Distribution box column 23 and 24 arise through which the fiber-water mixture can pass. In addition, slots 27 and 28 are arranged in the partition walls 21 and 22 on the cover 25, through which the excreted air can pass into the riser 7. Investigations have shown that the cross-section of the gap for the substance supply must be at least twice as large as the cross-section of the gap for the air discharge.
With this arrangement of the seat braid on the floor and on the lid of the distribution box, on the one hand, thorough mixing of the two partial flows and, at the same time, an intensive flushing effect in the central chamber, and, on the other hand, perfect removal of the air separated from the fiber-water mixture is guaranteed, especially since when the cover is not flat, but rather rising too slightly after the riser.
In the execution of the distribution box according to FIG. 13 - similar to the embodiment according to FIG. 9 - the partition walls 21 and 22 between the outer conical feed chambers 3 and 4 and the middle mixing chamber 5 gaps 23 and 24 on the cover 25 open which the fiber-water mixture passes from the outer chambers into the middle chamber.
In order to ensure good mixing of the two partial flows from chambers 3 and 4 and at the same time an intensive flushing effect in the middle chamber 5, the riser 7 to the paper machine is in this arrangement of the slots 23 and 24 on the cover 25 of the distribution box Center box inserted. In order to discharge the air separated from the fiber-water mixture, slots or holes 29 and 30 are arranged in the riser, where it penetrates the cover of the distribution box, which are at least twice as large as the cross-section of the gap for discharge the excreted air.
