Fig. 4 zeigt. eine Seitenansicht der Tagec- lichtentwicklungsdose.
Fig. 3).
Process for the wet treatment of a film in daylight and a daylight developing box for carrying out the process. In order to be able to wind up an exposed film in a spiral shape from the inside out on a spool core of a so-called daytime development can, two opposing disks with spiral grooves were arranged in the treatment container of the can treating film is.
In addition, a special guide piece was required, which was mounted pivotably between the spiral grooved disks and the film cassette inserted in the can. was. The purpose of this guide is to get the movie so far. together so that it could be inserted into the spiral grooves of the discs from the inside out. Finally, to pull the film into the spiral grooved disks and to attach it to the core, a special pulling strap with clips was required to which the beginning of the film had to be attached.
The present invention now makes it possible to use these parts, such as. B. drawstring, Leitstüek and spiral grooved disks, and still achieve a flawless development, fixation and soaking of the film tape zti.
The invention relates to a process for the wet treatment of an exposed film in daylight. as well as a daylight development box for performing this procedure.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that the exposed strip is placed in a light-tight, closable container, the beginning of the film is connected to an externally rotatable spool core by means of its leading end, and the part of the film intended for treatment is spirally opened after the container is closed the coil core wound and -during. the effect of the treatment liquid by alternately rotating the coil core in one and the opposite direction again fetches in full length.
The daylight developing box according to the invention is characterized in that it has a container which can be closed light-tight by means of a lid 8 and which allows filling and emptying with treatment liquid in the closed state. has, in which there is a horizontal coil core be, which is provided with a clamping device for securing the leading end 4 of the film to be treated and rotatably mounted in opposite side walls of the container and rotatable by means of a crank located on the outside of the container, the Container \? a chamber 1 intended to receive the full film reel is upstream,
which by an ingress of liquid. preventing intermediate wall 10 is separated from the container 2, the upper edge of which does not exceed the length of the film guide end 4 from the spool core and is arranged such that the film can be transferred from the chamber 1 into the container 2 over the same. The leading end is understood to mean that part of the film strip that is required to be inserted into the camera, i.e. on which no picture is taken. can be.
The distance of the circumference of the coil core from the inner walls of the container should not be the diameter of the coil core on all sides. so that the outermost winding of the film will soon find support on the inside walls of the container during winding and rewinding and that the wandering loop formed when the direction of rotation is changed does not unilaterally reform the film angle and the loop is evenly between the windings of the film while the treatment solution is vigorously circulated from the inside to the outside unrolls.
The spool core can initially be removed from the container to clip the film and held in the container for example by a plug-in axle or the like. In order to be able to determine which film length has already been wound into the container, a counting device of a known type is expediently built into the daylight developing can. it is easily possible to arrange a cutting device in the can.
Below is an implementation example of the method according to the present invention, with reference to the accompanying drawing, which shows an example of an embodiment of a daylight can for the exercise of the method, explained in more detail.
Fig. 1 shows the daylight developing can with inserted, filled film cassette in plan view, with. removed cover.
Fig. 2 shows. a vertical central longitudinal section for this, with the lid attached at the beginning of the film winding in a counterclockwise direction.
Fig. 3 shows in the same representation as in Fig. 2, the state after complete winding of the film on the spool core shortly after changing the original direction of rotation.
Fig. 4 shows. a side view of the daylight developing can.
The daylight developing can has a container 2, which is preceded by a chamber 1 intended to receive the film carrier. The latter and the container 1 are light-tight ver closable by a common cover 8, which is removable. Located in container 1. a horizontal bobbin: 5, which is provided with a clamp 6 for fixing the leading end of the film to be treated. The coil core is rotatably mounted in the two side walls of the container 2 which lie opposite one another and run in the longitudinal direction of the can. The coil axis is passed through one side wall.
On this end of the line is. a crank located on the outside of the container 9 be strengthened, through whose Betütigmng the coil core is optionally rotatable in one or the other direction of rotation. Chamber 1 is. separated from the container 2 by an intermediate wall 10 preventing the entry of liquid, over the upper edge of which the film can be passed from the chamber 1 into the container 2.
According to FIG. 2, a full film cassette 3 is inserted into the antechamber 1 and the film conductor 4 is fastened to the spool core 5 with the aid of the clamp 6. The container 2 is filled with the treatment liquid 7 before or after the end of the film is clipped on, so that after closing the cover 8 and turning the crank 9 in a direction opposite to the clockwise direction, the film is spiral-shaped in the manner illustrated in FIG is wound onto the core 5.
Since this rotation is the opposite of the tendency of the film to roll, the film lies in a loose spiral on the spool core 5. The counting device is e.g. B. a measuring roller 14, which is gela Gert near the partition 10 and is provided with teeth, which engage in the perforation of the film tape passed over it and, via an example, Maltese cross-like gear, the number of film images wound into the developing container on the counter 11.
After the part of the film to be treated is completely wound onto the spool core 5, the end of the latter is held in place with the aid of a clamping device 12 in the vicinity of the inter mediate wall 10. The Klemmvor direction 12 consists. For example, from a screw with rubber buffer on the free shaft end, which presses the film end part against a set 10a of the upper edge of the partition over which the film is guided. It is of course also possible to use any other clamping device, for example a foldable bracket or the like.
Now the direction of rotation of the spool core 5 is reversed and the film is now wound more in the clockwise direction (see FIG. 3). In this case, the film forms an S-shaped loop 4a in the interior of the container, which rolls progressively from the inside to the outside on the film windings, thereby allowing the treatment liquid to come into close contact with the film strip. So that the film rests on the inner wall of the can only with the edge zones and cannot be damaged, guide strips 2a and 8a are provided on both the lid 8 and the container 2, which allow the film to rest only in the perforation zone.
After the film has been rewound over its entire length several times, the development is complete and the development solution is removed through the pouring spout 13 without opening the cover 8. Now you can also without having to open the lid - the fixing solution poured through the spout 13 into the container 2 and the fixation in the can in the same way vorgenom men, as ge when developing. is happening. In the same way, the film can be soaked in water. For this purpose, however, you can also take it out of the can and hang it stretched out in soaking tubs.
It should also be mentioned that the removed bobbin core can serve as a weight to achieve the extended position. The coil core 5 is releasably connected to the crank 9 by a screw or the like, in order to be able to remove the coil core from the container 1 after loosening this connection.
