Pressure regulating valve in the oil path of burners in heating systems. The known regulating valves with quick sehluss for burners of heating systems have the disadvantage that when the burner is switched off, the pressure at which oil still escapes is so small that this oil is no longer atomized, but rather burns ver at the burner nozzle and soot builds up of the boiler. According to the invention, the pressure regulating valve has a quick-acting piston which suddenly opens and closes a valve needle when a certain minimum pressure is present.
The subject of the invention is a pressure regulating valve in the oil supply path of burners of heating systems, in which in a cylindrical bore of a guide piece, axially displaceable against spring pressure, a piston provided with a through longitudinal bore and transversely bored and a valve needle is arranged in this longitudinal bore, axially displaceable against spring pressure, whose stroke is adjustable by a stop pin, and that the guide piece has an inlet opening opening into the space in front of the piston and an outlet opening for the pressurized oil opening into the space behind the piston and also an outlet opening that can be closed by the needle, in such a way that when starting the burner only at a certain
adjustable minimum pressure, the piston opens the valve needle arranged in it, so that the oil is atomized immediately and that when the burner is switched off, the valve needle is suddenly closed at this minimum pressure so that no oil losses can occur.
The subject of the invention is on the drawing in an exemplary Ausfüh approximate form in section. shown.
The pressure regulating valve has a guide piece 1 with a cylindrical bore 2 which is closed at one end except for a small bore 3. Two lateral bores 4 and 5 in the guide piece are used to connect the pressure oil line, which is not shown in the drawing, and for the return flow of the pressure oil flowing through the piston 9. The bore 4 opens into the space below the piston, the bore 5 into the space above the piston. In the upper open part of the Füh approximately piece 1 is. a thread 6 attached, in which the thread of the adjusting screw 7 engages.
The cylindrical bore 2 is used for Füh tion of a with a continuous longitudinal bore 8, 18 provided piston 9, which is verschlos sen at the lower end by a plate 10. That carries ribs 11 on the underside. The lower part of the piston 9 is. Settled to a smaller diameter than that of the Boh tion 2, so that the pressure oil can flow from the inlet bore 4 in all positions of the Kol ben 9 into the bore 3 under the piston. In the plate 10 a Boh tion 12 is attached. In which the valve needle 13 is guided against the pressure of a helical spring 14 axially.
The spring 14 is supported at one end on the collar 15 of the valve needle and at the other end against the head 16 of the valve pin 17, which penetrates an upper Boh tion 18 of the piston 9 and allows this hole to be completed through the upper end of its head 16. On the lower side, a bore 19 for guiding the valve pin 13 is attached to the head 16. Since pressurized oil can also enter the piston 9 and, after the corresponding upward movement of the piston, through the bore 18, the piston has radial bores 20 opening into the borehole 8. Against the pierced adjusting screw 7 in the upper end of the guide piece 1 presses one end of a coil spring 21, which presses on the piston 9 with the other end.
In the Ge threaded bore 22 of the adjusting screw 7, an adjusting screw 23 is inserted, the downwardly directed end has a bore 21 into which the upper end of the valve pin 17 engages and which guides this pin. The adjusting screws allow the stop position of the pin 17 and thus the stroke of the valve needle 13 to be set.
The mode of operation of the pressure regulating valve is as follows: The pressure oil passes through the opening 4 into the bore 2 and under the piston 9 and pushes it upwards against the action of the spring 21 as soon as the oil pressure exceeds the spring tension. The valve needle 13, however, keeps the bore 3 closed until the plate 10 connected to the piston 9 against the collar 15 of the valve needle 13 abuts. At this moment, the needle 13 is suddenly lifted from the bore 3 and the pressure oil immediately flows with a certain minimum pressure into the nozzle of the burner, not shown in the drawing.
The piston 9 moves further upwards until the upper end of the pin 17 is at the bottom of the bore 24, after which there is an annular cross-section between the bore 18 of the piston 9 and the valve pin 17 for the pressure oil to flow through to the outlet opening 5 forms. As soon as the upper end of the valve needle 13 hits the bottom of the bore 19, the movement of the piston 9 comes to a standstill.
If the pressure oil supply is now shut off, the oil filling escapes from the guide piece under the pressure of the spring 21 and the piston 9 moves back to its starting position under the action of the spring 21, the valve needle 13 immediately closes the bore again at that minimum pressure 3 and the pressure oil leakage from this is blocked.
The tension of the spring and thus the aforementioned minimum pressure can be adjusted by means of the adjusting screw 7 and adjusted to the conditions.
