Permanently excited holding magnet with switchable holding force. Permanently excited holding magnets with a switchable I3aftkraft are known per se. and have been used, for example, for clamping plates such as are used for machine tools and similar purposes, or for various types of adhesive inserts.
The elimination of the adhesive force was accomplished in these known devices iladureh that the rotatably arranged magnet. was mounted in pole pieces that were excited by the magnets in the closing position, in order to allow the adhesive force to take effect, for example, on the cover plate of a clamping plate.
The pole shells were designed in such a way that when the magnet was turned, they short-circuited the magnet, so that the excitation at the ends of the pole shoes was canceled. It is also known to let horseshoe-shaped magnets with iron strips act together zti, which are excited in the on position. The sliding iron magnet is brought into a position in which it is short-circuited via the bars themselves.
The known devices have made it possible for the first time to utilize the permanent magnetic force even where constant switching on and off is required, such as in the case of a clamping plate for machine tools. A permanently magnetically excited system with the advantage of being able to be switched off, which was previously only possible with electrically excited systems, has the advantage over these that there is no need for external energy supply. The known facilities have proven themselves in practice.
The invention relates to a permanent excited holding magnet with switchable holding force. In contrast to the known measures, the adhesive force is not. caused by short-circuiting the magnets, but by using compensation magnets that can be switched on and off. At least two permanent magnets are provided, at least half of which can be used as compensation magnets to act on common pole pieces so that the magnetic force is canceled out in them. If necessary, the effect that occurs by reducing the air gap width between the poles and pole conductor pieces can also be used.
With reference to the accompanying drawings who the several embodiments of the invention explained in more detail.
FIGS. 1 to 5 serve to explain the principle. In Fig. 1 it is assumed that a magnetic bar 1 feeds two pieces of iron 2 and 2 ', with a line of force according to the dashed lines 3 ge.

In <SEP> FIG. <SEP> 7 <SEP> is <SEP> a <SEP> old conversion <SEP> of the <SEP> 1nordung <SEP> to <SEP> Fi-. <SEP> 6 <SEP> shown. <SEP> The <SEP> fixed

<tb> Movable <SEP> compensation magnet <SEP> 15 <SEP> acts <SEP> together <SEP> with <SEP> a <SEP> free <SEP> pin bar <SEP> 16 <SEP> and <SEP>
<tb> of the <SEP> terminal bar <SEP> 14 <SEP> of the <SEP> fixed <SEP> magnet 1- ?. In the Einsehaltstelluno a south pole of the fixed 11 magnet 12 and the compensation magnet 7 acts on the low l4:
For the purpose of switching off, the shutdown magnet 15 is moved in the direction of the 1'part 17 so that its south pole reaches the bar 13 excited by the north pole of the magnet 12 and its north pole reaches bar 1-I. The bar 16 is. in this way no longer reach @, t, and in the bars 13 and 14, the magnetic potential zero is established, so that the adhesive force is lifted on all bars.
It can be seen that here, too, multiple compartment arrangements are possible, with an 1111-eracle number of strips having to be provided for an even number of magnets.
According to FIG. 8, a layered lubricant is provided with 18 axially extending beyond the 11a; net body, pin strips 19. The assembly magnet 20 is provided rotatably within these curved pin strips.
From the closed position, in which the two magnets act with non-aligned poles, the closed position is reached by turning the com-parting position by 180.
In this embodiment is. a -multiple-; inoi- @ lnuii, - so possible. that fixed magnets 18 and rotatable magnets 20 alternate with one another on a lower length of the pin strips 19.
In order to reduce the work that has to be overcome when: holding out and switching on the compensation magnets, it can be useful to design the switching arrangement so that the compensation magnets carry out their holding movement with a small time difference.
The holding movement can take place mechanically, hydraulically, by compressed air or electrically in a manner known per se. In any case, a significantly stronger magnetic adhesive force is built up or reduced by low force.
(-lrulldsätzlieli the same arrangement as in Fig.8 is shown in Fig.9, the only difference being that the fixed metal 18 is a four-pole star magnet and accordingly has four pole shoes 19. The compensation magnet 20 is designed accordingly.
Instead of a star magnet, a 3-ring magnet with internal poles can be used, as shown in Fig. 10. The fixed ring 21 carries terminal strips 22 which are axially elongated. The compensation ring 23, which has the appropriate shape, rotates over this pin bar. In these four-pole arrangements, the transition from the switch-on to the switch-off position is achieved by turning 90.
In FIG. 11, an embodiment is shown which is a combination of the two embodiments according to FIGS. 9 and 10 represents. The stationary ring 24 carries the axially elongated terminal strips 25. In the interior of the ring, the rotatable compensation magnet 26 is arranged. Of course, the arrangement could also be reversed in that the internal star magnet is stationary and carries the pin bars, while the outer ring can be rotated as a compensation magnet.
In all the arrangements according to FIGS. 9 to 11, several stationary magnets can act on the terminal strips, with stationary magnets and compensation magnets alternating with one another along the length of the terminal strips.
It has been shown that to achieve a certain adhesive force by applying the measures described for the entire device, such as an adhesive plate, compared to known Ausfühi-Lingen with short-circuited magnets, four to eight times the weight is saved. because the terminal strips can be designed simply, whereby at the same time the magnetic energy is concentrated in a smaller space with a narrow pole pitch.
In addition, the entire housing can be made of light metal because magnetic scattering to the outside does not occur and therefore, in contrast to the known devices, shielding by a ferromagnetic housing is not required : # - stenie for adhesive plates or chucks, for example according to the design of the joining. 6 and 7, is. lent clearly, so that a representation and explanation is not necessary.
In Fig, .12 another application possibility is shown schematically, namely that of a motor vehicle lamp with little space requirement. The bulb '7 with its glass protection 8 and its electrical connection parts 29 and 30 are housed in a body 31.
There is also a magnet ring 3 ″ with pin strips 33 to see on which the rotatable magnet ring 34 acts. The magnetic ring 3-1 is firmly connected to the body 31. Wcim the lamp is adhered to a part of the motor vehicle, then by turning the body 31 and thus the compensation magnet 31- the adhesive force is canceled, which is exercised in the switched-on position of the ends of the pole 33 is exerted.
The arrangement is characterized by particularly small space requirements, because the actual lamp with. Accessories, possibly also a power source, can be accommodated in the interior of the magnets.
It is readily apparent that the compensation arrangement described can be adapted to a wide variety of uses, with the use of h-Lifeisen-like magnets, ring magnets, star magnets, roller-shaped magnets, cast, pressed, sintered or combined ge sintered, allows the individual Special requirements. Take into account.
In particular, a horseshoe-like magnet, as shown in Fig. 6 and 7, and which is sintered in one piece from Da.uermagnetwerk- material and iron, has proven itself with regard to the fact that in the iron part 6 there is practically always zero magnetic potential. As a result has. Such a magnet a lines of force streuttng only in the direction of the pole legs.
