Pneumatischer Drehzahlregler an Einspritzbrennkraftmaschine.
Pneumatic speed controller on the internal combustion engine. The invention relates to a pneumatic speed controller on injection combustion engines, in particular for vehicles, with a control element whose return element acts on itself and which, as a movable partition, closes a chamber connected to the intake pipe of the internal combustion engine from the outside air and opens up the flow rate adjustment element Injection pump acts, on which a spring acts, which seeks to
to keep the adjustment member positively coupled with your control member.
In known regulators of this type, the positive coupling of the adjusting element with the regulating element results in one case for structural reasons, in the other case it was therefore proposed to obtain an independent displacement of the adjusting element in the direction of the stop when the machine rotates incorrectly thereby bring the machine to a halt.
In both cases it has not been recognized that by suitable coordination of the oscillation system consisting of the adjusting member and the associated spring and separated from the regulating member, particular advantages can be achieved in speed control.
According to the invention, the natural vibration number of the vibration system consisting of the adjusting member and the associated spring is matched in comparison to that number of visual vibrations that the vibration system consisting of the control member and its feedback member executes as a result of the suction shocks of the machine pistons, so that the Verstellgied only follows the middle movement of the control member in order to achieve a uniform gear of the machine.
These oscillations of the control element are particularly strong at low speed (idling). One has therefore tried so far by arranging an additional spring effective in the area of the idle position of the control element to dampen the vibrations of the control element. This additional spring, which strengthens the regulator spring, which is effective in all positions of the regulating element, in the area of the idling position of the regulating element, is not only effective in idling control, but also in regulating the maximum speed (end control), and it worsens since it is much stiffer than the regulator spring,
the degree of irregularity of the controller. If such a deterioration was intolerable, then it has. they have hitherto been avoided by putting the additional spring out of action by a special device connected to the drive lever when the drive lever is in full load position. This additional spring can now be omitted in a controller according to the invention, which also eliminates its disadvantage of worsening the degree of inequality in the regulation of the maximum speed.
The object of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing using two exemplary embodiments. Fig. 1 shows the first and Fig. 2 the second example.
According to Fig. 1, the housing 2 of a pneumatic controller is attached to the housing 1 of a four-cylinder injection pump, between its two housing halves as a rule member a membrane 3 is clamped, which closes as a movable partition of a chamber 4 against the outside lift. This chamber is connected by a line 5 to the intake pipe 6 of an internal combustion engine (not shown) and opens there at the narrowest point of a Venturi nozzle 7 built into the intake pipe.
In this a throttle valve 8 is rotatably arranged on a shaft 9, which carries an adjustment Liebel 10 outside the intake pipe. In the chamber 4, a return spring 11 is housed, which is supported on the wall of the regulator housing and the mem brane and seeks to move towards full against the difference between the outside air pressure and the pressure in the intake pipe on the membrane we kenden. The injection pump has a control rod 12, the displacement of which changes the fuel injection quantity.
The rule rod protrudes with a smaller diameter approach 13 through an opening 14 of the membrane. On the free end of the extension a disk 15 is attached, the diameter of which is greater than the diameter of the opening 14. The control rod has a collar 16 at the other end, against which a relatively oak spring 17 presses, which is supported on the pump housing. and the non-positive coupling of the control rod. which l Heinebrus brings about.
This soft spring gives the oscillation system consisting of the control rod 12 and spring 1.7 a lower natural oscillation rate than the oscillation rate that the oscillation system consisting of membrane 3 and spring 11 executes as a result of the suction shocks of the machine pistons. A generally adequate damping is achieved by the friction of the control rod 1.2. The control rod follows. therefore only the mean movement of the diaphragm, which results from the vibrations of the diaphragm as a result of the saturation. These generate Luftschwin conditions in the intake pipe 6, which are propagated in the Kam mer 4 and thereby transferred to the Mem brane.
The fact that the control rod only follows the middle movement of the membrane ensures that the machine runs more smoothly. The desired speed is held in a known manner by adjusting the throttle valve 8 with your lever 10. Now increases z. B. as a result of a decrease in the load, the speed of the engine increases. also the negative pressure in the suction pipe and the membrane is moved against the force of the spring 11 and takes the rule rod towards the stop. This reduces the injection quantity. and the speed of the engine falls again.
The second example of FIG. 2 differs from see. first by a different arrangement of the soft spring 17 acting on the control rod. This is accommodated here in the controller housing, engages an extension 20 of the control rod and presses it against the action of the return spring 11 against the membrane 3.
In this example, the effect of the return spring 11 is reduced by the spring 17 acting on the control rod, while it is increased in the first example. As a result, in the second example, a smaller degree of irregularity is achieved at maximum speed control. Furthermore, in the second example, the difference between the outside air pressure and the pressure in the intake pipe acting on the membrane tries to loosen the coupling between the control rod and the membrane.
This is also an advantage compared to the first example, since when the machine starts up the first suction surge, which leads to the excitation of the vibratory movements of the membrane, is not transmitted to the control rod.
