Description
Automatisch in Abhängigkeit von der Kühlwassertemperatur betätigte Einrichtung an Automobilen zum Drosseln des Kühlluftstromes. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine automatisch in Abhängigkeit von der Kühl wassertemperatur betätigte Einrichtung an Automobilen zum Drosseln des Kühlluft stromes und besteht in einer Abschirmstore, die mit einer motorisch angetriebenen, in Ab hängigkeit von der Kühlwassertemperatur betätigten Zugvorrichtung in Verbindung steht, derart,
dass sie bei überschreitiuig einer vorbestimmten Kühlwassertemperatur im Sinne einer Freigabe des Kühlluftstromes und bei Unterschreitung einer tieferen Tempera tur im Sinne einer Drosselung des Kühlluft stromes bewegt wird.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der beiliegenden Zeichnung dargestellt. Dabei zeigt: Fig.1 die Einrichtung an einem Auto mobil und Fig. 2 die gleiche Einrichtung schematisch zur Veranschaulichung des Zusammenwirkens der einzelnen Organe.
Mit 1 ist der Kühler eines Automobils und mit 2 der Motor bezeichnet. Hinter der Luft-, eintrittsjalousie 4 sind parallel nebeneinander zwei Führungsschienen 10 für eine Abschirm- store 9 angeordnet, die aus Textilstoff, Plastiematerial oder dergleichen besteht. Eine Speicherrolle 5, die unter Wirkung einer Torsionsfeder steht, ist bestrebt, die Store 9 stets aufzuwickeln und damit den Kühlluft strom freizugeben.
Am obern Ende der Store 9 ist. ein Zugseil 6 über eine Umlenkrolle 7 zur Wickelrolle 8 eines Gleichstrommotors 3 ge führt, der über die Leitungen 11, 12 und 13 mit der Batterie des Automobils sowie mit einem Umschalter 15 verbunden ist. Das be wegliche Schaltglied 14 dieses Umschalters 15 steht unter Wirkung eines im Kühler 1 oder in der Kühlwasserrückleitung eingebauten Balges 16, so dass es je nach der Temperatur des Kühlwassers in die Schaltstellung V oder R verstellt wird.
In der Schaltstellung V, also bei einer vor bestimmten obern Grenztemperatur, dreht sich der Motor 3 so, dass die Store 9 in Pfeil richtung entgegen der Kraft der in der Speicherwalze eingebauten Torsionsfeder im Sinne einer Drosselung des Kühlluftstromes bewegt wird.
In der Schaltstellung R, das heisst bei einer vorbestimmten untern Grenztemperatur, dreht sich der Motor in entgegengesetzter Richtung, so dass sich die Store auf die Speicherrolle 5 aufwickelt und dadurch im Sinne einer Freigabe des Luftstromes bewegt wird.

Behind the air inlet louvre 4, two guide rails 10 for a shielding store 9 are arranged parallel to one another and are made of textile, plastic or the like. A storage roller 5, which is under the action of a torsion spring, strives to always wind up the store 9 and thus to release the cooling air stream.
Store 9 is at the top. a pull rope 6 leads ge over a pulley 7 to the winding roller 8 of a DC motor 3, which is connected via lines 11, 12 and 13 to the battery of the automobile and to a switch 15. The movable switching element 14 of this switch 15 is under the action of a bellows 16 built into the cooler 1 or the cooling water return line, so that it is moved into the switching position V or R depending on the temperature of the cooling water.
In the switching position V, i.e. at a certain upper limit temperature, the motor 3 rotates so that the store 9 is moved in the direction of the arrow against the force of the torsion spring built into the storage roller in the sense of a throttling of the cooling air flow.
In the switch position R, that is to say at a predetermined lower limit temperature, the motor rotates in the opposite direction, so that the store winds up on the storage roll 5 and is thereby moved in the sense of a release of the air flow.
