Drehkondensator.
Variable capacitor. The present invention relates to a variable capacitor with a housing in which a number of holding organs for the stator is clamped between insulating balls.
According to the invention, the fastening of the holding parts in the housing formed as a rigid whole is accomplished by plastic deformation change at least one of the parts between which the aforementioned insulating balls are clamped.
The change in shape is preferably that a rod-shaped holding member is compressed in its transverse direction, for example, is pressed wide, whereby the length of the rod increases sufficiently so that the existing structure consisting of a rod and two balls is located between the two transverse surfaces in the housing ( that is to say surfaces perpendicular to the direction of pinching), between which the Ge image is arranged. The capacitor housing can be formed from a few parts by spot welding or made from a single piece by press casting. The cost of fastening the holding organs by pushing wide are particularly low.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which two views of a Ausführungsbei are shown game. The illustrated double rotary capacitor has a trough-shaped housing 1 made of aluminum, produced by die casting, with two compartments separated by a partition 3. In two opposite side walls of the container 1, a shaft 5 is mounted in the usual way, to which the rotor plates 7 are attached, for example by soldering. The stator 9 is of conventional design; only some of the panels are shown.
One of the side walls of the housing 1 is seen with two U-shaped recesses 11 ver, which adjoin the free edge of the Be tenwand (see Figure 2). A holding member for the stator 9, which consists of a rod 13 made of brass, is attached to each of these recesses. At each of the ends of the rod is seen in Flicht with it, a ball 15 made of ceramic material.
The shaped from a holding member 13 and two balls. 15, the structure 11 consisting of recesses is clamped in place, in which the holding member 13 has been compressed somewhat in the transverse direction.
This process takes place before the stator 9 is attached, using an appropriate tool, the structure 13, 15 in question is placed in the recess 11, into which it can engage with some play, whereupon the holding member 13 over part of its length between two (or more) stamps are pressed together in a direction almost perpendicular to the plane of the drawing in FIG. The flattening of the rod formed in this way can be seen from FIG.
The small rod has become longer as a result of the spreading, whereby the structure 13, 15 is immovably clamped between the mutually facing transverse surfaces of the U-shaped recess.
The stator 9 is fixed in the usual way by means of solder or cement (17 in FIG. 1) to the holding organ 13 and a second, similar holding rod 21. The holding member 21 is clamped together in the manner described above with two insulating balls 23 in a rectangular recess 25 in the bottom of the trough-like housing 1.
These recesses (11 and 25) are, at least for the most part, with wall parts that have a relatively large dimension in the direction of the entrapment force and which also attach to a transverse wall (in the present case the side walls of the housing 1 and the partition 3) connect. As a result, the transverse surfaces between which the holding members and balls sit clamped (for example the legs of the U formed by the recesses 11) are particularly resistant to distortion of the whole. Although there are local changes in shape by, for example, the balls 15 when pushing the rod 13 something into the relatively soft aluminum of the housing 1 pushed into who the. This promotes the holding of the structures 13, 15 after clamping.
For the same purpose, the end faces of the rod 13 are preferably seen ver before clamping with, for example, conical depressions in which the balls 15 are stuck.
In principle, however, it is also possible to clamp the structures 13, 15 and 21, 23 instead of in cutouts from a wall between two different walls of the housing 1, for example between a side wall and the intermediate wall 3.
Another possibility for clamping the retaining element 13 together with the balls 15 is the local, plastic deformation of the wall of the housing 1. This can be done, for example, in such a way that a recess 31 is pressed into the side wall part between the two recesses 11. becomes. As a result, the material present at the point in question is pressed, inter alia, in the direction of the two holding members 13, so that they are clamped. This measure can optionally be carried out in conjunction with the plastic change in shape of the holding member.
In a known embodiment of a rotary capacitor with holding members clamped between insulating balls, each rod-shaped holding member with an insulating ball at each end is clamped between the front and rear frame plates of the capacitor. These plates, in which the two bearings for the capacitor shaft are attached, are held together by at least three cross bolts parallel to the shaft. The cross bolts, which are required for Festklem men the holding parts and the balls, make the design more expensive and not suitable for mass production.
In addition, a housing formed in this way is difficult to manufacture precisely and is not particularly stable, as a result of which the plate distance must be dimensioned large and the dimensions of the capacitor are relatively large.
As can be seen from Fig. 1, in the exemplary embodiment from the holding member 13 is practically within the frame of the side wall in which it is attached. As a result, there is a space saving and the risk of a lock with adjacent items is low. Because of the small mass of the holding element, it contributes only little to the capacitance of the capacitor.
