Fig. 1 zeigt das Fräswerkzeug in einer Seitenansicht.
Wood cutter. The invention relates to known wood milling cutters with radially and diametrically opposed to each other on the milling disk ausgebil Deten cutting, in particular to so-called countersink for milling cylindrical A countersinks for the heads and nuts in screw connections. Especially in the carpentry business it often happens
that two beams running at an angle to one another are connected to one another by a screw bolt and that a recess must be milled in an inclined direction to the surface of the beam. If at the beginning of the work the cutter only touches the wood on one side, inhibitions and disruptions in the work are inevitable, especially when the weight of the electric drilling machine is on the cutter, because the feed rate is so great that the cutter's cutting edge becomes too thick Attack wood chips that they cannot handle.
In order to avoid this disadvantage, the invention provides that additional cutting edges are formed on one edge of the preseeding disk, which forms a flat support surface perpendicular to the cutter axis, from which the additional cutting edges only protrude by chip thickness. Since the edge of the milling cutter is constantly standing on the workpiece, only a chip can be lifted, the thickness of which corresponds to the protrusion of the additional cutting edges with respect to the edge support surface.
The inner cutting edges advantageously adjoin the edge cutting edges and are set back a little against the edge cutting edges in the axial direction. The edge cutting form pre-cutters that cause unrestrained work.
An exemplary embodiment of the milling cutter according to the invention is shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the milling tool in a side view.
2 shows a view of the precision tool from below.
FIG. 3 shows a longitudinal section along the line A-B, and FIG. 4 shows a longitudinal section along the line C-D of FIG.
The tool consists of the milling disc 1, the shaft 3 provided with an insert cone 2 and the guide pin 4. The shaft 3 is screwed into a threaded hole 5 in the milling disc 1. The guide pin 4 engages in a threaded hole 6 in the shaft 3.
It is provided with a hole 7 to facilitate replacement, because it should have the same diameter as the diameter of the pre-drilled hole for the screw bolt in order to give the milling disc in the pre-drilled hole a good guide.
The milling disk 1, which is slightly conical on the outside, has two radial, diametrically opposed cutting edges 8 ', to which edge cutting edges 8 adjoin on the outside. These stand on a relatively narrow edge 9 formed on the milling cutter disk 1 and lying in a plane perpendicular to the milling cutter axis, by about 0.5 mm in the axial direction. The cutting edges 8 ′ adjoining the cutting edges 8 on the inside are also set back in the axial direction with respect to the edge cutting edges 8, so that they are in the same plane as the edge 9.
First, only the narrow edge cutting 8 attack the work piece.
The milling disk 1 is provided in the direction of rotation in front of the cutting edges with chip cutouts 10, which are delimited on the one hand by the radial and axial surfaces 11 and on the other hand by the cutting face surfaces 12 lying obliquely to the milling axis. The cutting back surfaces 13 adjoining the cutting edges at the bottom and located within the edge 9 extend from the cutting edge to surface 11 at an ever increasing distance from the plane of the edge 9.
When the cutter is working, it is ensured that the between the workpiece; and expand the hollow spaces located in the milling disk to the rear and then merge into the relatively large chip cutouts 10. This means that: The milling chips are safely ejected upwards.
