Stativ.
Tripod. According to the present invention, a tripod is characterized in that a lower support member is rotatably mounted in the stand head, on the outer edge of which a pivot bearing for an upper support member serving as a support for a device to be fastened on the stand is arranged, the whole such that the attachment point of the device on the upper support member within a circle whose radius is determined by the sum of the distance of the attachment point of the device from the pivot bearing and the distance of this pivot bearing from the pivot bearing of the lower support member can be set arbitrarily.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. They show: FIG. 1 an entire tripod as a support for a geodetic measuring instrument in the use position, FIG. 2 a schematic representation of the construction principle, FIG. 3 an axial section through the upper parts of a tripod in the transport position, FIG. 4 one of FIG corresponding view of the parts in the position of use.
With reference to FIG. 2, the fol lowing will be explained: A lower support member 1 formed as a turntable is rotatable about the acre 2. At its outer edge, at 3, is a pivot bearing for a. upper, also designed as a turntable support member angeord net, the bearing 3 with respect to - on this upper turntable 4 is also arranged on the outer edge of the same.
A fastening organ 5 for a device, for example a geodetic measuring instrument, is located in the nern of the upper turntable 4, that is to say in its center in the case shown. It is easy to see that this fastening point 5 is freely adjustable under these circumstances within a circle around the axis 2, the radius of which is equal to the sum of the distances between the bearings 2 and 3 and the bearings 3 and 5.
According to this principle, the support members of the tripod shown in FIG. 1 are now designed, the legs of which are denoted by 6, 7 and S and whose head plate is denoted by 9. A lower turntable 1, which can be adjusted to an exactly horizontal position with the aid of the handle 10 and which can be rotated about its bearing axis 2, has a journal bearing 3 on its outer edge, about which the upper turntable 4 can be rotated.
In the center of this upper turntable 4, that is to say in its central axis 5, the main column of a geodetic measuring instrument 50 is fastened on the upper side and a fastening hook 51 for a solder 52 is fastened on its lower side.
It is easy to see that a tripod formed in this way can be set up in the simplest way so that the predetermined ground point 53 comes to lie approximately in the middle of the connecting line between the tips of the tripod feet 6 and 7, after which it will always be possible is to set the perpendicular 52 and thus the axis 5 of the instrument 50 exactly vertically above the measuring point 53.
This is in contrast to known tripods, whose tripod head plate is provided with a central hole that has to be set vertically above the ground with an accuracy of around 2 cm when setting up the tripod, whereupon a system of adjusting screws is used the exact setting of the instrument via the ground point allows.
As can be seen from Fig. 2, the tripod leg 8, which is exposed to a stronger tilting moment due to the eccentric position of the measuring instrument, is provided with a so-called claw foot that absorbs said tilting moment and thus ensures a secure stand of the tripod ge.
With reference to the Fiig. 3 and 4, only the individual components of the instrument storage and how they work are explained in more detail.
A tilting hemisphere 21 is mounted in the tripod head plate 9, that is to say in a central bearing socket 91 of the same. In the bearing pan 91 a threaded bolt 11 is screwed. The head of this threaded bolt 11 is provided with a handle 10, by means of which a rapid coarse adjustment of the lower turntable 1 in the horizontal position is made possible, which is also made possible by a larger recess 92 in the bearing socket 91.
A nut 12, which is in engagement with the internally threaded part of the bolt 11, interacts with a clamping hood 13 so that it holds the tilting hemisphere 21 in the set position in the tightened state of the nut and its all-round tilting in the released state possible.
On the lower turntable 1 a rotating disk 25 is fixedly attached, which is rotatable about a bearing pin 2. This bearing pin 2 is mounted in a bearing plate 1 'which is supported and held on the flange 22 of the tilting hemisphere 21 from.
By turning the head 23 of a clamping screw 24 screwed into the bearing plate 1 'in the radial direction, the latter is pressed against the turntable 25 in such a way that the lower turntable 1 is clamped in the set position. A pin 3 arranged on the outer edge of the turntable 1 forms a pivot bearing for the upper turntable 4. The pin has a collar 31 at its lower end and a thread 32 at its upper end, with which a clamping nut 33 engages. When the nut 33 is tightened, the upper turntable is clamped in its set position relative to the lower turntable 1.
In the middle of the upper turntable 4 there is a bore, a sleeve 41 being attached to the upper turntable in the center of this bore. This sleeve holds a threaded bolt 5 which is axially displaceable between the collar 42 and collar 43 and also rotatable; the upper collar 42 secures the threaded bolt 5 against fail Her. The head 44 of the bolt 5 serves as a rotary knob when the bolt 5 is screwed into a measuring instrument to be attached and carries the support hook 51 for a solder 52.
Diametrically to the pivot 3, a pivot 45 is superimposed on the outer edge of the turntable 4, the downwardly directed end of which is designed as a nut 46 which is intended to be screwed into the threaded bolt 47 fastened at the corresponding point on the bearing plate 1 ', if the upper plate is to be secured in the transport position shown in Figure 3.
The level arrangement 48, which is built on the upper turntable 4, serves as a control organ for the desired exact Horizon tallage of the upper turntable. Of course, additional fine adjustment means for precise adjustment in the horizontal position and for extremely precise centering on the ground point can be seen in a known manner.
It is also possible to use a tripod designed according to the principle described be as a support for a measuring table, which in this case can be pivoted on all sides outside the area of the tripod head plate. In this case, it is advisable to equip all tripod legs with a claw foot.
