Werkzeughalter.
Tool holder. The holder according to the invention can be particularly suitable for use on lathes. He can change the drilling tools faster and more comfortably.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is provided. 1 shows a longitudinal section, according to line A-1 of FIG. 2, through the tool older. Fig.? represents a cross section, according to line B-B in Fig. 1, through the clamped socket a and shows the stel ment of the three notches k, which are located on the clamping nut d, in the engagement stel ment. the three cams b on the socket a-. Fig. 3 represents. the front view of the socket a with the three cams b of the same and FIG. 4- the front view of the clamping nut d with its three notches k and recesses c formed between these.
Structure of the holder.
The receptacle a is a cylindrical sleeve with a Morse inner cone c and slot Lind is used to accommodate drilling tools with a conical shaft. At the end of the slot, this sleeve a has three evenly distributed cams b on the circumference, which are exactly plane and centric with your cone c. Corresponding to this design of the receptacle a, the bottom of the small nut d is provided with a passage loeh and three extensions e extending from this.
These three recesses e are used to introduce the three cams b of the plug-in sleeve a between the clamping nut d and the support body g when the sleeve end is inserted into the central bore f of the body g.
In the bearing surface of this central bore f two protruding locking pins h are inserted, which secure the receptacle a against rotation with respect to the body. The clamping nut d is screwed so far onto the thread of the body g that the three cams b of the receptacle a. after a final rotation of the clamping nut d of about 60 by means of the lever i seated on it, corresponding to an axial displacement of the clamping nut d against the body g by 1 / s of its thread pitch from that of the bottom of the clamping nut d </ I > formed notches k are clamped between the recesses e.
Of course, the position of the receptacle a is determined by the two locking pins h so that the three notches k of the clamping nut d follow. the final rotation of which comes to a standstill on the three cams of the receptacle a. By this manipulation a precise, firm Zen tration of the receptacle a and thus the tool on the support body g is achieved.
To remove the receptacle a and the tool, the Klemmuter d is turned back by means of lever i by about 60, where through the three recesses e of the same come to stand exactly in front of the three cams b of the receptacle a and the latter are thus pulled out together with the tool hann. When the receptacle a is extended and retracted, the clamping nut c is located. always in the same position.
These rotational movements of the clamp nut cl are precisely fixed by a stop consisting of the partial recess q in the jacket of the clamp nut (1 on the one hand and the adjusting screw m in the body g on the other.
The body g also serves to take on a retaining ring n. With wedge o, the latter with screw p attached to the ring. The retaining ring n fits on the quill z of the tailstock of the lathe and is. attached to the body g with the screw r. When the wedge,) is inserted into the existing flute of the tailstock quill, any possibility of rotation of the parts g, a and the tool used with respect to the quill is eliminated.
Each tool is provided with a matching socket a for use. this is inserted through the clamping nut d into the centric bore f of the body q and clamped with a short, powerful turn of about 600 of the lever i. After use, push the lever i back, after which the tool can be pulled out. Advantages: 1. The annoying and time-consuming screwing back of the tailstock quill z is no longer necessary to change the drilling tools, as is the knocking out of the tool with a hammer and wedge.
2. The tip of the tool can only be about 20 mm away from the workpiece in order to be able to be executed.
ö. Working with this tool holder is. more convenient and time-saving.
