Nitscheiwerkband.
Nitscheiwerkband. The present invention relates to \ itsehelwerk tapes for carding machines, which z. B. used to prepare the fibers for spinning.
These ribbons were previously usually made from leather or skins. one or more mechanical connecting pieces and also with guide projections made of leather, which were attached to the underside of the band by riveting or similar means.
These inevitable mechanical fittings and the riveted guide projections result in inequalities in the outer or working surface of the niteclicks, which vary as well. the thickness and quality of the leather from which the ribbons are made, and an uneven stretching effect, that no uniform results are obtained in the compression operation.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, it was proposed to produce nitseliel work tapes from a strip of rubber or rubber substitute on a jute base, the eggs of which are connected to one another and the upper surface of which is made continuous by attaching a strip of rubber or rubber substitute over the overlapping ends of the jute back, the Arlieitsolierfläelie of the tape having grooves,
which are formed thereon with the aid of a mold plate prior to joining the ends of the rear side. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an improved "endless nitschel belt" made of rubber.
For this purpose, the Nitschelwerk- band according to the invention consists of an endlessly shaped band made of rubber, the outer surface of which serves as a working surface is ground and the inner surface of which at at least one edge of the band has a row of guide projections running parallel to this, which with the Form one piece of inner surface. In the following Ausfüh were approximately examples of the subject invention he explained.
The sanded outer or work surface of the belt can be designed in many ways, depending on the different types of fiber that are to be processed. According to a preferred embodiment, grooves can be ground into this surface. If the band is viewed as a cylinder, these grooves run two-way around it in the shape of a hollow line to close to both edges, at which they leave a smooth edge.
The grooves of two belts can be arranged so that they constantly cross the grooves of the abutting cooperating surfaces of the belts when the Nitschel mill is in operation. It has been shown that the ground surface and the creasing result in an even and clean, nippled roving yarn, while the creasing also serves the purpose of cleaning the belt itself, i.e., moving waste through the grooves during operation and are unloaded at the end of the belt.
It turned out that this eliminates the need to scrape off the strap at regular intervals, as was necessary with the leather straps that were previously used.
The grooves can have a rectangular or V-shaped cross section.
A suitable synthetic rubber for the entire Nitsehehverkband or for at least the outer surface of the same can be made from a butadiene-aeronitrile copolymer and a vulcanizing agent such as. B. sulfur are produced.
The bands are made entirely of synthetic rubber, i.e. without any fabric reinforcement, and also of a compound that is sufficiently elastic to return to its initial dimensions when it is within the limits normally found in Krenipel - stretching occurring in the masehine was stretched.
Alternatively, the bands can be made entirely from natural rubber or with one side made from natural rubber and the other made from a synthetic rubber, the two rubber parts being formed into an inseparable whole.
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. Fig.1 shows a view. partly in the section of a Nitsehelwerk band. Fig. 1 is an end view of the same and Fig. 3 is a view on a larger scale through part of the Nitschelwerk band showing the grooves in its outer or working surface.
is an endless belt made of natural or synthetic rubber with rows of guide projections B arranged symmetrically on its inner surface, parallel to the edges of the belt, which form one piece with the inner surface, while (\ helical in the outer or If desired, the guide projections can also be provided only along one edge of the belt.
It will be seen that the Nitschelwerk tapes explained not only avoid the need for sharpened overlaps and similar types of connection, but also do not have any mechanical fastening of the filler parts on their undersides.
