Hydraulic device for lifting and adjusting the working depth of the tools
carried by a towing machine by means of an articulated coupling link.
It is known that] the lifting and adjustment of the working depth of the tools carried by an agricultural tractor are usually obtained by means of a hydraulic jack acting on the lifting of the tools, in which jack, by means of a control device manual. a certain quantity of oil is introduced or removed. The height of the tools having thus been reached, the cylinder piston is immobilized by trapping the oil in the cylinder by closing the oil inlet and outlet ports.
Such control devices are necessarily compl. ic. 17th read, when part of the oil escapes from the cylinder, due to inevitable leaks, it is necessary, in order to restore the correct position of the tool, to compensate for this oil leak by adding more oil. oil, preferably automatically, which further complicates the production. Finally, during work, the oil pressure inside the cylinder can increase dangerously, which makes it necessary to provide safety valves to avoid ruptures.
The present invention relates to a hydraulic device for lifting and adjusting the working depth in the ground of an implement carried by a tractor by means of an articulated coupling link, device comprising a permanent supply pump in liquid and a jack connected to this pump acting to lift on said link, said jack comprising a discharge port which is adjustable in position, along the axis of the jack. for the liquid sent by the pump.
Such a device can be arranged so as to allow automatic and permanent stabilization of the position of the tools.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the variable-position discharge orifice cylinder comprises a piston whose active face is pierced with at least one channel which extends to an outlet orifice located on the wall. lateral side of this piston, this outlet orifice being able to be closed by means of a part sliding in a slot made in the cylinder of the jack, facing said outlet orifice.
The description which will follow with reference to the appended drawing, given by way of non-limiting example, will make it clear how the invention can be implemented.
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of a lifting cylinder arranged according to the invention.
Fig. 2 is a section along II-II of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 schematically represents a tractor equipped with a lifting device arranged according to the invention and carrying a tool.
The cylinder 9 of the jack shown in figs. 1 and 2, comprising an inlet 10 for the fluid, is provided, towards its right end, with two diametrically opposed slots 11. The piston 12, comprising segments of etanehéité 1H, is pierced with a central channel 14 which is divided into two secondary channels 15 opening out facing the slots 11. It is also possible to provide, in the event that the piston 12 is capable of rotating in the cylinder 9, an annular groove 16 in the piston, which allows the fluid passing through the channels 15 to always be able to exit through the slots 11. In these slots slide, with a very small clearance, keys 17, applied on the piston 12.
The two keys are joined by a half-moon 18 (or by a ring) which surrounds the cylinder 9 without touching the latter. A stop 19, provided at the end of the tents 11, prevents the wedges 17 from reaching, in their movement to the right, the end of these slots, which always makes it possible to ensure an outlet for the channels 15. , even if the keys are moved completely to the right. The use of the stops 19 can be avoided by terminating the slots 11 to the right with a retracted part 19cz into which the end of the keys cannot penetrate.
The cylinder 9 is integral with a tractor, while the connecting rod 20 on which the piston 12 acts when lifting on the tools carried by the tractor and therefore supports the weight of these tools. The weight of these tools tends to push the piston 1 "to the left in Fig. 1.
The orifice 10 being connected to a source of pressurized fluid capable of a permanent flow, when the wedges 17 are forced into a certain position in the slots 11 by means of a member (not shown for hand actuation of these keys, the piston 12 moves until the orifices of the channels 15 come to the level of the right limit of said keys. At this time, the movement of the piston is stopped, since the oil pressure decreases. by the escape of this oil through the channels 15.
The piston is thus in a stable position, because it cannot move to the right, due to the weight of the tools. It cannot, either, move to the left, because, in this case, the channels 15 would be blocked and the pressure of the fluid, active again, would return the piston to its original position.
Conversely, any displacement. even very small, the keys 17 is followed by the piston 12. The adjustment of the position of the piston can therefore be very precise.
One will notice that the portion of cylinder 9, in which the pressure of the fluid acts, is not weakened by the presence of the slots 11; therefore, any fluid pressure can be used.
Consequently, the part of the cylinder having the slots 11, which is not subjected to the pressure of the fluid, can, without inconvenience, be of reduced resistance. Finally, the keys are subjected to very low radial forces since each of them is subjected practically only to a force corresponding to the pressure of the fluid multiplied by the section of the channels 15 which may be quite small.
Using, as shown in fig. 1. two keys diametrically opposed and rigidly connected to each other, the forces undergone by these two keys balance each other.
Fig. 3 schematically shows an assembly of the jack shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 on a tractor for lifting implements and adjusting their working depth.
The tractor 21 carries and drives a tool 22 by means of the conventional articulated quadrilateral formed of the compressed bar 93 and the double tensioned bar 24.
The jack 31, of the type shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, is permanently supplied by the oil pump 25. Via the lever 26 and the rod 27, the connecting rod 20 acts on the articulated quadrilateral and on the tool 22 in the lifting direction. By its weight and, moreover, by the reaction of the earth on the tip of the tool, when the latter is working, this tool constantly tends to descend. The connecting rod 20 is therefore always subjected to a thrust to the left.
By moving the keys 17 using any command, it is possible to choose, at any time, the level of the tool relative to the ground and thus determine its working depth or else completely raise this tool to allow, for example, moving the tractor on the road.
