Zusatzpatent nun Hauptpatent Nr. 282398. Papierlocher.
Additional patent now main patent No. 282398. Paper punch. The subject of the invention is a further embodiment of the paper punch according to the main patent, and the further embodiment consists in that the hinge-like interconnected plates are provided with means for limiting the opening angle of the plates and the punch dies with paper repelling means.
By limiting the opening angle of the plates of the paper punch, a comfortable handling, the same and a safe introduction of the paper to be punched is achieved, while the paper repelling means immediately after punching the paper a repelling of the same from the patrix and thus un hindered removal of the paper out of the paper punch.
In the drawing, for example, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown. 1 shows a plan view of the paper punch with a partial section through the hinge, FIG. 2 shows a cross section along line I-I in FIG. 3 shows the sectioned part in FIG. 1 on a larger scale, FIG. 4 shows a cross section along line II-II in FIG. 3,
FIG. 5 shows the same cross section as in FIG. 4 with the plates closed, and FIG. 6 shows the longitudinally adjustable stop bushing seen from the side of the cutout.
The illustrated paper looper has two elongated plates 1, 2 stamped from sheet steel 1, which have hinge straps 3 on their longitudinal edges, which are connected to one another by a hinge axis 4. In the longitudinal center of this a leaf spring 6 facing two legs at an angle to one another is arranged in a hinge section 5.
The legs of the leaf spring are supported against the plates 1, 2 so that they are pressed into the open position by the force of the spring. The lower plate is provided with two round holes 7 as punching dies, while the upper plate carries punching dies 8 that match with the dies over matching points in the holes 7. On the underside of the plate 1, a collecting container 9 is arranged. Which engages by means of tongue 10 in slots 11 of the plate 1 near the hinge.
In the middle of the outer longitudinal edge of the container 9, a locking tongue 12 is angeord net, which can be resiliently engaged by means of an end bead 13 on a recessed part 14 of the outer longitudinal edge of the plate 2 and thereby the closed position of the container 9 can be locked. The outer longitudinal edges of the plates 1, 2 are slightly bent from one another in order to facilitate the introduction of the paper to be punched.
The limitation of the opening angle of the two plates 1, 2 is achieved by two bushes 15 and 16 attached to the ends of the hinge axis 4. For this purpose, the sleeve 15 is fixed on the axis and provided with a cutout 17 in which the narrow side flanks of the plates 1, 2 engage, whereby the movement of the latter is limited. The sleeve 16 is longitudinally displaceable and rotatable on the axis 4 -and is secured in its outer most position by a screw 18 which is screwed into the axis 4.
The rifle is. With. its inner end is guided on the adjacent hinge 3 and with a constriction 19 resting against the Se.hrau- benkopf on the axis 4. Between the hinge 3 and constriction 19, a compression spring 20 enclosed by the bushing is mounted on the axis 4, through which the bushing is pressed into its outermost position, in which the constriction 19 rests on the screw head.
The sleeve 16 has at its inner end an atü two different widths from set cutout 21, 21 ', in which the shortened flanks of the plates 1, 2 can play. When the sleeve is pushed outwards, the flanks play in the further part 21 of the cutout and limit the open position of the plates at an opening angle that is favorable for the introduction of the paper to be punched. The cutout 21 enables the same plate pivoting as the cutout 17, and the cutouts 21,
17 jointly limit the same opening angle. The sleeve 16 can be pressed in when the plates 1, 2 are closed against each other, so that the narrow part 21 'of the cutout engages over the edges of the plates 1, 2 and secures the plates in this position. So that the sleeve 16 is automatically secured in a pressed position by the engagement of the plate flanks on the narrow part 21 'of the cutout, the flanks of the part 21' of the cutout are inclined, so that the part 21 'of the cutout against the end of the sleeve is too narrow.
The flanks of the plates engaging the cutout 21 'are raised in accordance with the inclined position of the flanks of the cutout 21' and ensure a secure engagement with the bushing which cannot be overcome by the pressure of the spring 20. The outwardly pressed position of the sleeve is secured by the spring 20. Padding rings 22 made of foam rubber are pushed onto the male molds 8 and connected to the plate 2 by means of adhesive.
These cushion rings have the task of repelling the perforated paper at the same time with the opening of the plates 1, 2 from the male molds and to ensure unobstructed removal of the perforated paper from the paper punch.
