Mechanical device for unblocking a circulation pump. There are different, electrically driven circulating pumps on the market, which have formed the rotor of the electric motor and the conveyor element into a structural unit and in which, in the event of rotation inhibition, there is no possibility of contamination or corrosion from the outside in a mechanical manner to overcome this rotation inhibition, because neither the rotor and conveyor element nor their shaft are accessible from the outside.
Since in many cases the electromagnetically generated torque of the drive motor is not sufficient even in the event of overvoltage to overcome the rotation inhibition, such Umwälzpiunpen must be removed and the greater part of the circulating material drained beforehand. In the case of circulation pumps in central heating systems suffering from contamination, the rotation inhibition means a serious disruption in operation and not only causes a highly undesirable long interruption, heat loss from the drained water, etc., but also considerable costs for rectifying the malfunction.
For this reason, the present invention claims to represent an improvement in circulation pumps.
According to the invention, a mechanical device for deblocking a circulating pump, the conveyor wheel of which is directly assembled with the rotor of the electric drive motor, is characterized in that it has a manually engageable and externally rotatable t'bertragungsorgan, which before in the engaged state with a located inside the circulating pump, the conveying element and the rotor comprehensive rotary part is in engagement.
The intervention resp. the coupling of the transmission element, for example, with the rotation-inhibited conveyor element or its shaft can be carried out, for example, by pressing down a pin. With the appropriate design, this pressing down is advantageously carried out with a special key (square or hexagonal). In the depressed position, i.e. when the transmission element is engaged, a rotary movement is performed by hand, for example, with the same key,
which results in a rotation of the rotor and conveyor element. Advantageously, a translation is chosen such that a manual rotary movement is possible even for heavily jammed parts. Experience has shown that the cause of the anti-rotation is usually immediately eliminated by twisting, so that the key can be withdrawn and a spring, which is expediently built into the mechanical device, causes the transmission element to be disengaged. When the motor current is switched on again, it is immediately apparent
whether the rotation lock has been finally removed.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing.
The mechanical device according to FIG. 1 contains an axially displaceable shaft or pin 1 on which a spur gear 2 is formed at one end. This could also be replaced by a separate spur pinion. This pin 1 runs in a bearing bush 3, which in turn is pressed into a corresponding, partially lying in an eye of the cast housing 4 lowing hole.
Part 5 is also screwed into the sem hole, which on the one hand leads the spring 6 in its interior and on the other hand, the rubber ring 7, which is used to seal against liquid passage along the pin 1, to the sleeve 3. In the position shown in Figure 1, the device is in the working position. In the non-use position, the Fe 6 presses a thickening of the pin 1, respectively. whose shoulder 1 'against the rubber ring 7, especially in the non-use position, guarantees an absolutely perfect seal.
The nut 8 is fixed on the pin by a pin 9. This nut 8 has a 4 or 6-point head, through which a socket key is pushed to operate the mechanical device. A protective cap 10 is used as a cover so that the device is not actuated by unauthorized persons during normal operation of the engine.
When they are removed, a warning will be visible to prevent the device from being operated while the engine is running. In the not-in-use position, contacts in a terminal housing can also be closed, which are opened when the pin 1 is pressed down so that the power supply to the motor is interrupted, which is equivalent to an electrical interlock.
The drawn in Fig. 1 designated pinion 2 engages a crown toothing 12 of a disc, which in turn is rigidly connected to the shaft 13 of the conveyor and the electric motor with the help of a nut 14 connected.
This shaft 13 is mounted in a sleeve 15, and the same pump housing 4 is held by the motor. 16 is the laminated stator core of the motor, 17 is the separating sleeve, which separates the stator space from the rotor space in a liquid-tight manner, 18 is the rotor, and 19 is the conveying element that forms one piece with the rotor. In Fig. 2, a similar disposition of a mechanical deblocking device is drawn, the pin 1 in the engaged Stel ment but not engages in a gear mounted on the shaft, but in a ring gear,
which, for example, is cast on one end face of the conveyor element. This disposition is particularly recommended for large circulating pumps, as the larger transmission ratio enables a greater force to be exerted on the non-rotating parts. The ring gear 12 could even be further out at the circumferential surface of the rotor 18. Compared to FIG. 1, packs 20 are arranged here which, in addition to the pack 7 already mentioned, ensure additional security for the seal.
It can be seen from the figure that the device according to FIG. 2 is also suitable for rotors and conveying elements which rotate on a fixed axis 13 '. Of course, instead of the spur gear 2 and crown gear (12) shown, bevel gears can be used, which can be brought into engagement with the rotating part by means of a coupling, or a worm gear of the pivot pin can engage with a worm gear of the rotating part.
When assembling Umwälzmpnpen with arranged inside the electric motor rotor and conveyor, it is not easy to determine the direction of rotation of the conveyor and thus the correct operation of the pump. The inven tion to the invention mechanical device it allows to determine the direction of the torque of the electric motor and thus the direction of rotation. In this case, of course, the transmission element must be brought into action before the motor current is switched on, so that damage to the transmission elements is avoided when the clutch is fully engaged.
