      Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines Derivates der     4,4'-Diamino-stilben-disulfonsäure.(2,2').       Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  neuen Derivat der     4,4'-Diamino-stilben-disul-          fonsäure-(2,2')    gelangt, wenn man erfindungs  gemäss 1     Mol    des     Dinatriumsalzes    der     4,4'-          Bis-        [2-äthylamino-4-chlor-1,3,5-triazyl-(6)-          amino]-stilben-disulforisäure-(2,2')    mit 2     Mol          o-Chlor-anilin    umsetzt.

      Die Umsetzung kann zum Beispiel in der  Weise erfolgen, dass man eine wässerige Lö  sung von 1     11o1    des genannten     Dinatriumsal-          zes    bei 40 bis 90  C mit 2     Mol        o-Chlor-anilin     umsetzt.  



  Das so erhaltene     Nat.riumsalz    der Formel

    ist in     Wasser    löslich. Es kann zum optischen  Bleiehen von Baumwolle verwendet werden.  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Zu einer Lösung von 72,7 Teilen des     Di-          natriumsalzes    der     4,4'-Bis-        [2-äthylamino-4-          ehlor-1,    3,     5-triazyl-    (6)     -amino    ]     -stilben-disulfon-          säure-(2,2')

      (hergestellt durch     Kondensation     von 2     Mol        Cyanurchlorid    mit 1     Mol        4,4'-Di-          amino-stilben-disulfonsäure-(2,2')    und 2     Mol          Monoäthylamin)    in 700 Teilen Wasser wer  den bei 35 bis 40  C unter Rühren 51 Teile       o-Chlor-anilin    zugefügt. Anschliessend steigert  man die Temperatur des Reaktionsgemisches  innerhalb 2 Stunden auf 80  C und rührt  während 8 Stunden bei 80 bis 90  C.

   Hierauf  fügt man     Natriumcarbonatlösung    bis zur deut  lich alkalischen Reaktion     zu,    lässt das Reak-         tionsgemisch    auf 15 bis 20  C abkühlen und  setzt     Natriumchlorid    zu. Das abgeschiedene       Dinatriümsalz    der     4,4'-Bis-[2-äthylamÜno-4-o-          chlor    -     anilino        -1,3,5-triazyl-    (6)     -amino]        -stilben-          disulfonsäure-(2,2')    wird     abfiltriert,    mit Na  triumchloridlösung gewaschen und getrocknet.

    Man erhält das neue Produkt als hellgelbes,  wasserlösliches Pulver.  



  Baumwolle, die mit einer wässerigen Lö  sung des Pulvers behandelt wurde, erscheint  weisser als Baumwolle, die ohne Zusatz dieses  Produktes behandelt wurde.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Derivates der 4,4'-Diamino-stilben-disulfon- säure-(2,2'), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man <B>1</B> Mol des Dinatriumsalzes der 4,4'-Bis-[2- äthy-lamino - 4 - chlor -1,3, 5 -triazcl- (6) -amino ] - stilben-disulfonsäure-(2,2') mit 2 Mol o-Chlor- anilin umsetzt. Das so erhaltene neue Natriumsalz ist in Wasser löslich.
