Device for the adjustment of the period of oscillation of the torsional oscillation caused by the unrest of a clockwork. There are facilities for the Abgleichimg the period of oscillation of the movement executed by the restlessness of a clockwork Drehschwin supply known, in which the free end of the spiral spring of the balance to be balanced is clamped in a clamping device, while below this clamping device a fixed support plate is placed on which the lower axle end of the unrest to be adjusted can lie freely on.
The Klenimv device here usually consists of a vertically ge superimposed, rotatable adjusting roller with a guide groove, in which an equally rotatably mounted pressure disc engages in a resilient manner. The end of the spiral spring to be clamped is held between the adjusting roller and the pressure disk in the guide groove and can be pulled in more or less far by the adjusting roller in order to compensate for the unrest.
This clamping device is itself. articulated in a manner that is adjustable in all directions on a holder, which in turn can be pivoted about an axis of rotation which is perpendicular to the plane of the support plate. A matching unrest is used as follows in this device: First, the free end of the coil spring is drawn into the guide groove of the adjusting roller in the manner already specified. The part carrying the clip device is then adjusted relative to the pivotable holder in such a way that the axis of the clamped balance falls exactly into the axis of rotation of the pivotable holder.
The spiral spring of the balance must be extended evenly in its axial direction, and the lower end of the axis of the balance should only rest lightly on the support plate.
In order to carry out the adjustment of such a clamped-in unrest, it must first be caused to execute torsional vibrations. This is done finitely by the previously known device by swiveling the rotatable holder together with the clamping device quickly around its vertical axis of rotation and holding it again so that the clamped Un rest receives an angular momentum and executes torsional vibrations with slowly decaying amplitude.
The frequency of these torsional vibrations is then determined in some way, e.g. B. with electrical llessmetlioden, measured and the adjustment made with the help of the adjusting roller of the clamping device.
The present invention relates to a device for compensating the period of oscillation of the torsional oscillation carried out by the balance of a clockwork, in which the free end of the spiral spring of the balance is clamped in a clamping device and a support plate is arranged below this clamping device which one end of the axis of the unrest can rest. The device according to the invention now consists in that a device is attached by means of which the distance between the and the support plate is changed periodically in order to thereby cause the unrest used in the device to execute torsional vibrations.
In your embodiment of the present invention is shown schematically in the drawing, a holder 2 is rigidly attached to the base plate 1. At the end of the cantilevered arm 3 of the holder 2, the clamping device is attached, which consists of the rotatably mounted roller 5, which is provided with a guide groove 4, and the pressure disk 6, which engages resiliently in the guide groove 4. By turning the actuating button 7, the end of the spiral spring 8 inserted into the guide groove 4 can be adjusted to the unrest more or less far. The unrest from the spiral spring 8, the axis 9 and the ring-shaped hoop 10 be is given on an enlarged scale for reasons of better representation compared to the parts of the device.
Below the clamping device 4 to 7, a support plate 11 is provided on which the lower end of the axis 9 of the balance can rest. The plate 11 sits on a slotted stem 12, which is tubularly pulled out with a press fit from the sleeve 13 to adjust the mean distance of the Tel lers 11 from the guide groove 4 according to the desired axial extension of the spiral spring 8 can. The sleeve 13 is guided through a sliding bearing 14 arranged in the base plate 1 so that it can be easily moved up and down. An extension pin attached to the bottom of the sleeve 13 rests on the free end of a leaf spring 15 tensioned on one side.
In order to use a restlessness in the device, it is only necessary to introduce the spiral spring 8 in the manner shown in the Klennnvorrichtung 4 to 7 and then the support plate 11 so far. Nem handle 12 should be pulled out of the sleeve 13 so that the spiral spring 8 is pulled out sufficiently in the vertical direction and the lower end of the axle 9 is still lightly seated on the plate 11.
Further adjustments do not need to be made for the onset of the unrest, and the correct fastening of the unrest in the device is carried out quickly and does not require any particular skill. The unrest that has been set in this way is now caused to execute torsional vibrations by periodically raising and lowering the plate 1.1 at the rate of these torsional vibrations, which process can also be carried out easily by hand. can be executed.
Furthermore, since the holder 2 is rigidly attached to the base plate 1 in the described design of the device and the roller 5 and the pressure washer 6 are also mounted directly in a likewise rigidly arranged part of the holder 2, there is no difficulty in the assembly. and moving the plate 1.1.
with the help of an electromechanical Antriebssy stenis durchzufüh Ren, the moving part of the plate 11 in the cycle of supplied electrical alternating currents lifts and shallow. This is preferably done by means of an electrical synchronous vibrator, as shown schematically in the drawing. The leaf spring 15, with your permanent magnet 16 attached to it, represents the moving part of the vibrator, the iron core 7.7 of which can be screwed onto the Soekel plate 1, for example.
The excitation winding of the vibrator consists of two equal partial windings 18 and 18 ', which are connected in series in a similar and meaningful manner. If an alternating current flows through the field winding 18, 1.8 ', the leaf spring 15 moves with it. the permanent magnet 16 and thus also the sleeve 13 and the plate 11 with the frequency of the supplied alternating current up and down.
By appropriately setting the frequency and the amplitude of the alternating current fed in, the unrest 8 to 10 used in the device can be caused to execute torsional vibrations of constant and optionally adjustable amplitude. With such an external excitation of the torsional vibrations of the unrest, the continuously variable frequency of the alternating current generator feeding the vibrator 1 5 to 1.8 would have to be adjusted accordingly with each change in the clamping of the spiral spring 8, i.e. each time the setting button 7 is actuated.
The device described, in which the plate 1.1 is moved up and down with the help of the synchronous vibrator, but also allows the generation of self-excited Drehschwin conditions of restlessness, so that the additional actuation of a frequency-determining an alternator of an alternator is superfluous.
This is achieved by generating alternating electrical currents with additional means, which represent an image of the torsional vibrations carried out by the unrest used, and these alternating currents, if necessary after additional conversion and amplification, are in the correct phase of the exciter output 18, 1.8 'of the vibrator be supplied. To that end is. 1. a bushing insulator 19 is provided on the base plate, with a plate-shaped electrode 21 arranged in a cantilevered manner being attached to the bent end of the line 20 passed through.
The line 20 leads. to a frequency-determining and single-pole connected to the base plate 1 switching element of a self-excited high-frequency oscillator 22, which is only indicated schematically. The frequency with which the oscillator 22 is excited thus also depends on the capacitance between the electrode 21 and the neighboring part of the spiral spring 8.
Since this capacity apparently changes in a periodic manner when the unrest leads to torsional vibrations, the oscillator 22 is frequency modulated in time with these torsional vibrations. These frequency-modulated high-frequency alternating currents are then demodulated in a frequency-sensitive rectifier arrangement 23, and the low-frequency alternating currents obtained therefore represent, in terms of frequency, amplitude and phase, the torsional oscillation carried out by the unrest 8, 9, 10.
The low-frequency alternating currents can continue to be amplified with the help of part 24 of a voltage amplifier and then an amplitude limiter 25 and. a phase shifter 26 of the amplifier. Finally, a power amplifier 27 is connected to the phase shifter 26, the output stage of which is preferably a push-pull output stage which feeds the windings 18 and 18 'of the vibrator, which are directly galvanically coupled.
Expediently, the excitation winding 18, 18 'is tuned by means of a capacitor that is not worn to resonance with respect to the setpoint frequency that the torsional vibration caused by the unrest should have after the adjustment has been completed. The movable part 15, 16 of the vibrator is best brought together with the given by the parts 11 to 13 to mechanical resonance with the specified frequency.
If a series of unrest of a certain type is to be continuously balanced in the facility, an already balanced unrest of this type is used first. The adjustable phase shifter 26 is matched to this in such a way that this unrest executes self-excited torsional vibrations at the setpoint frequency and with a constant amplitude. Now an unmatched unrest in the Klemmvorrich device 4 to 7 is clamped and, for example, thrown by hand in the manner already indicated. The plate 11. begins to move automatically up and down, specifically with the frequency with which the unrest that is triggered executes its torsional vibrations.
The amplitude of the rotary vibrations accordingly swings until it is limited by the action of the amplitude limiter 25 in turn. If the setting knob 7 is turned, then the up and down movement of the plate 11 is immediately adapted to the changed period of oscillation of the unrest. So you have. just actuate the adjustment button 7 to adjust the unrest, which adjustment is achieved when the up and down movement of the plate 11 and thus also the torsional oscillation caused by the unrest occurs exactly at the specified setpoint frequency.
If the restlessness chen, then the free end of the coil spring 8 standing in front of the groove 4 is still cut abge, the restlessness is removed from the plate 11 and the next restlessness is pulled into the clamping device.
Another advantage of the device described is that it can also be used at the same time to measure the torsional oscillation caused by the unrest and allows the determination of deviations in the frequency of the torsional oscillation relative to the setpoint frequency directly according to size and sign. For this purpose, a low-frequency oscillator 28 is seen in front of whose constant as possible comparison frequency is an integer multiple of the target frequency to which the unrest used in each case is to be adjusted.
The alternating voltage supplied by the amplitude limiter 25 of the amplifier is then compared with the normal frequency generated by the oscillator 28 in a display device 29, for example by stroboscopic means using a cathode ray tube. Instead of a stroboscopic comparison, an acoustic comparison, for example, can also be used using the beat method, provided that the alternating currents to be compared have a sufficiently high frequency.
The alternating currents picked up by the amplitude limiter 25 would in this case still have to be passed through a frequency multiplier before they are fed to the display device 29.
