System for removing dust from clockworks, precision mechanical and electrical apparatus. The present invention relates to a system for removing dust from clockworks, precision mechanical and electrical apparatus.
When assembling clockworks, installing the same in watch cases, etc., even the finest dust must be removed from these movements and the cases so that the clock is guaranteed to run accurately over a longer period of time. Up to now it has been customary to remove the dust from clockworks etc. by blowing, but this turns out to be disadvantageous because the dust is only swirled around or blown into corners and depressions of the movement.
The system according to the invention is intended to remedy this disadvantage, and for this purpose it has a collecting line connected to a suction air pump, which is supplied to several workstations and has flexible lines at the same taps for connecting flexible lines, with flexible lines at the free ends Lines with a suction device provided with a suction mouthpiece. a shutoff valve operable by a finger of the hand holding this device is attached.
In the accompanying drawing, for example, an embodiment of a system according to the invention is partially and schematically shown, namely Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through a building with a system attached in the same, Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same system The building ceiling is omitted, FIG. 3 shows a detail of the system on a larger scale and partial axial section, and FIG. -1 shows a variant of the detail according to FIG. 3 in axial section.
The system according to FIGS. 1 and 2 has a suction air pump 1 with a drive motor 2, both of which are arranged outside the actual work space 3 so that the same remains as free from noise as possible. From the suction air pump 1, a suction air line 4 leads into the room 3, where it holds a dust filter 5, a regulating valve 6 and a vacuum meter 7 ent.
The line 4 then runs along the building wall behind the workbenches 8 and has a tap 10 at each work station 9 for connecting a flexible line 11 (not shown in FIGS. 1 and 2) (FIGS. 3 and 4).
These lines lead to suction devices (Fig. 3 and 4), where they clip on a connection 12 are plugged.
The suction device. According to FIG. 3, the tubular handle part 13 with the lateral connection piece 12 has. The front tapered end of the part 13 is formed as a suction mouthpiece and has a coating 14 made of elastic, soft material. The part 13 ent holds the longitudinal bore 15 with a widening 16 for receiving a compression spring 17 which presses on a sleeve 18 which is axially displaceable in the handle part and is open at one end. The sleeve 18 has transverse bores 20.
By means of a push button 22 connected to the sleeve 18 via a rod 21, the sleeve 18 can be pushed against the action of the spring 17 so that the 'transverse bores 20 communicate with an extension into which the connector 12 opens, so that the Negative pressure in the suction line at the mouthpiece of the device becomes effective.
A fine sieve 24 between the left part of the bore 15 and the extension 16 holds back coarse dust particles or possibly small watch components that have been carried along.
The device shown in Figure 4 has as turn a tubular handle part 24. In the front end of the part 24, a mouthpiece 25 made of elastic, soft material is introduced. A tube 26, the end of which carries the connecting piece 11, is fastened in the handle part. The tube 26 is closed at the front, pointed end and has two lateral openings 28. A further tube 29 and a compression spring 30 are arranged between the handle part 24 and the tube 26. A nipple 31 on the tube 26 protrudes through a longitudinal slot 32 in the handle part 24. By moving the tube 29 by means of the nipple 31 in the slot 32, against the action of the spring 30, the openings 28 can be exposed.
As a result, the suction from the suction line 4 is effective on the mouthpiece 25.
To use it, the worker will press down the push button 22 with one finger of the hand holding the device or move the wart 31 so that he can use the open 1Timdstüekes to suck up the dust from clockworks, clock shells, precision mechanical or electrical devices, assortment boxes for clockworks, etc. can.
