So halten z.
Edge seal valve and method of making one. The invention relates to a valve with Kan tendichtung and a method for the produc- tion of such a.
Pressures of several 100 to over 1000 atmospheres are used in industry, especially in the chemical industry, to an ever increasing extent. Previously known shut-off and safety valves for such high pressure apparatus and pipelines have not met the requirements at the high pressures of several 100 to over 1000 atmospheres. Although a good closure can be achieved by an edge seal, known valves have become unsightly after opening them several times, often even after opening them once, because the edge and valve seat no longer matched exactly. So hold z.
B. Safety valves with edge sealing for high pressures are very well sealed up to the set blow-off pressure, but if they only have to blow off once because this pressure is exceeded, then they will leak. That is why with maximum pressure real: - t.ionen so much attention is paid to it that the pressure is not exceeded and that the safety valves do not blow off. The course of the reaction process is interrupted by the leakage of the safety valve and the constant blow-off, in that the high working pressure required for the process is no longer achieved.
Such safety valves must therefore be reworked again after they have come into operation, so that they hold tight again when the apparatus is started up again.
This disadvantage is remedied by the valve according to the invention. This is characterized in that a guide bush is provided which is inserted into the valve housing and into which not only the valve body, but also a body having the valve seat, are advantageously fitted with a sliding fit, and that further means which rotate the valve body in Prevent with respect to the valve seat body are provided.
The method for producing such a valve consists in that the edge is obtained by build-up welding.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of a valve according to the invention is shown schematically, on which the method according to the invention, for example, is explained. They show: Fig. 1 a safety valve in longitudinal section, Fig. 2 to 4 individual valve parts on a larger scale rem.
The housing 1 of the safety valve is screwed onto the nozzle 2 screwed into a high pressure vessel or into a high pressure line and connected to the blow-off line 3 through the nozzle 4. In the housing 1, the guide bushing 5 is used, in wel che designed as a piston valve body 6 and the valve seat 7 supporting body 8 exactly, for. B. with sliding fit, are fitted.
The body 8 can also be fitted with a snug fit because it does not have to move. The guide bush 5 has a flange 9 at the bottom, as does the body. 8 has a flange 10, so that both when screwing the housing onto the connector 2 firmly. be pressed. On the body 8 there is a bulge 11 which seals the body 8 against the socket. The upper end of the body 8 is provided with a groove 12 into which the valve seat 7 is inserted and fastened or cast in, and which cooperates with the edge 13 on the valve body 6.
At the height of the valve seat 7, the guide sleeve 5 is provided with openings 14 through which the medium passes into the blow-off line 3 during the blow-off. So that the valve body 6 cannot rotate with respect to the valve seat 7 when opening and closing. both the valve seat body 8 by means of the pin 15 and the valve body 6 by means of the pin 16 with respect to the guide bushing 5 secured against Dre hung. In the valve body 6 a slot 17 is provided in which the pin. 16 is fitted in a sliding manner.
In the case of an edge stretching, one of the cooperating sealing parts has an edge shape, and the closure is achieved by slight deformation of at least one of these parts, depending on the hardness. It can be the edge itself, which experiences a specific pressure exceeding the elastic limit under the contact force due to the small contact surface, or if the edge is hard and the seat is soft, the former penetrates the latter. The edge does not necessarily have to be sharp, it can also be rounded. Likewise, the edge can form the fixed seat if, for.
B. the valve body is designed as a ball or at least at the sealing point has a spherical shape, in turn, the ball slightly deform the edge or the edge can penetrate into the spherical surface. If the edge is now rotated even by a small angle with respect to the seat or shifted sideways, the microscopic unevenness of the two parts no longer fit into one another and the valve is not tight. Precise guidance therefore makes it possible to create a valve that keeps tight after each opening.
The valve body 6 is loaded by the spring 20 by means of the Ven tilstange 18 and the attached spring plate 1.9 below. The upper spring plate 21 is adjustable to adjust the load on the spring 20, in which the sleeve 2 ?, meg-en which the plate 21 is supported while holding the ball bearing 23, provided on the outside with a thread and in the cover 24 of the housing 1. is screwed in. At the upper end of the Büehse \ '\' see the head 25, which rests on a spacer ring 26, the height of which determines the setting of the spring plate 21 as a result.
The head 25 is designed for the United position of the sleeve 22 as a sea hexagon or in some other way, so that it can be turned by means of a key.
It is useful that the seal of the valve made of materials of different hardness, e.g. B. Metals, is produced; so z. B. for the edge 13 on the valve body 6 hard metal z. B. be applied by order, welding, while the valve seat 7 from. soft material, e.g. B. pure silver, which is stamped as a ring into the groove 12, but can also be poured into the groove 12. The Brinell hardness of the material of the edge can, for. B. be at least the Seehsfaehe the Brinell hardness of the material of the seat or vice versa.
Through the approach 27 on the valve body 6 is. it is possible to make the bore 28 in the body 6 so long that the power transmission between the tip of the valve rod 18 and the body 6 is located at the bottom of the bore 28 almost or entirely in the plane of the Kan tendichtung; this prevents the valve body from edging.
The diameter of the sealing edge 13 is significantly larger than the diameter of the valve bore 29 in the valve seat body 8, and at least when the valve is fully open, the annular flow cross section between the edge 1.3 and the valve seat 7 is larger than the cross section of the valve bore 29 As a result, immediately after opening the valve between the body 6 and the body 8 there is a pressure drop compared to the pressure in the valve bore 29. As a result, the valve body 6 is subjected to a smaller pressure force from the outflowing gases than when the valve is closed. As a result, the valve 6 closes very quickly as soon as the pressure in the valve bore 29 or
has disappeared in the apparatus or pipeline, even if the pressure therein is only a few percent below the Abblasedruek.
The excess spring force at the moment of closing is greater because of the pressure drop between the valve bore 29 and the flow cross-section between edge 13 and seat 7, even if the pressure in the bore 29 has only dropped slightly below the Abblasedruek, which is why the valve is accelerated more can and closes more quickly, so that further blow-off is prevented.
If, on the other hand, the valve 6, 8 would work without the described pressure drop when blowing off, the valve body 6 would be under the same pressure as that in the valve bore 29, and until the safety valve would close, the pressure would be in the apparatus or in the pipeline has fallen significantly below the blow-off pressure. Such a pressure drop in the apparatus itself would, however, severely impair the process.
In order to obtain a passage cross-section at the edge seal device 7, 13 that is larger than the passage cross-section from the valve bore 29, the extension 27 can be shaped on the outside so that in every position of the valve body 6 after lifting the cross-section between's Extension 27 and bore 29 are smaller than the passage cross section between edge 13 and valve seat 7.
The valve described has the advantage that after each opening of the valve the edge fits exactly onto the seat, since rotation of the edge with respect to the seat is avoided. Furthermore, there is the advantage that, due to the good guidance of the valve body 6 and the valve seat body 8 in the guide bush 5, no lateral displacement is possible which could impair the fit of the edge and valve seat. In particular, the use of a guide bush has the advantage that the parts outside of the valve can be fitted together very precisely. They can be ground into the guide bush with great precision, and the sealing parts can also be worked into one another precisely.
In addition, when one of the parts is exchanged, the new one can be precisely matched with the remaining one.
