Fig. 4 und 5).
Device for inductive heating of a workpiece. In systems for inductive heating of workpieces by means of high frequency, the high frequency current flows through an inductor that encloses the workpiece as tightly as possible. In the known systems, this inductor is locally fixed. All movements necessary for coupling the workpiece to the inductor must be followed by bringing the workpiece into the area of the magnetic field of the inductor, as shown in Fig. 1a.
For many operations this moving the workpiece into the inductor is undesirable. In the present invention, the workpiece can be attached to a simple, e.g. B. only be introduced horizontal movement, as shown in Fig. 1b. The inductor is pivoted piece in a simple manner over the work.
The invention relates to a device for inductive heating of a workpiece by means of an inductor which is excited by a cylindrical coil of a generator oscillating circuit by means of a cylindrical coupling coil arranged concentrically therewith.
The invention consists in that the coupling coil is arranged to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis and that the inductor is rigidly connected to this coil and is thus pivotable about the same longitudinal axis.
In Fig. 2 the invention is shown purely schematically. 1 shows the view of a cylindrical coil of a generator oscillating circuit, seen in the direction of the coil axis. The coupling coil 2 is arranged concentrically thereto. Most of the time it is a single turn which has the shape of a cylinder jacket and which is slit along a surface line 3. From here two closely adjacent conductors 4, 5 lead to the inductor 6. The coil 2 is mounted in its longitudinal axis 7 in such a way that it can be rotated through the rotation angle 9p.
The conductors 4 and 5 and the inductor 6 connected at its end are pivoted about the longitudinal axis 7 glei. The conductors 4 and 5 also serve as a support element for the inductor. Due to the concentricity of the coils 1 and 2, the degree of coupling remains unchanged when pivoting the inductor. Apart from the variable with the angle coupling of the inductor with the workpiece, the current supplied by the coil 2 is independent of the pivot position.
If a workpiece is to be brought into the area of the inductor, it is sufficient, according to the manner shown in FIG. 1b, that the workpiece is brought under the coil in the direction x. For this purpose, the coil is swung open and the work piece is pushed under. The inductor is then swiveled back over the workpiece in an inverted swivel movement. After heating has taken place, the inductor is swiveled open again and the workpiece can be transported further in the direction of the arrow y.
The inductor 6 can be connected to the coil 2 in a fixed manner, that is to say permanently. However, the connection can also be made via detachable connections, so that the inductor can be exchanged for another.
The coupling coil 2 can also consist of two cylindrical conductors arranged next to one another and cut open along a surface line. The two conductors can be connected in series or in parallel. A device in which the two conductors can optionally be connected in parallel or in series is particularly suitable. In this way, the resistance adjustment can be changed in a ratio of 1: 4. In this way, inductors with widely differing impedances can be optimally adapted. In Fig. 3, an embodiment of this type is shown. Figs. 4 to 6 represent details on a larger scale.
1 is the coil of the generator oscillating circuit. Concentric to this coil and rotatable in the longitudinal axis 7 are the two cylindrical conductors 2a, which are arranged next to one another and cut open along the surface line 3. to 2b. The ends of the two conductors merge into connection plates 14a to 7.5a and 14b to 15b (see FIGS. 4 and 5).
By means of these connection plates, the conductors 2a and 2b are simultaneously fastened in a support frame which can be rotated about the axial direction 7. The support frame consists of the support arms 10 and 11 and the connecting strips 12 and 13. Because of the tensioned connection plates 14a ... 15b, the strips 12 and 13 are made of insulating material. The support frame can be pivoted in the pivot bearings 16 and 17. The whole rests on a support bracket 18.
One connection plate each of the two conductors, namely 1.5b and 14a, have inclined extensions 14e and 14d, which lead into the central plane between the two conductors 2a to 2b and are parallel to one another. The inductor 6 is fastened to these extensions by means of screw connections 20. The ends of the induction coil are soldered onto connection plates 6a. These plat th are provided with a slot and can thus be pushed under the screw connection.
Dureh. Pivoting the support frame 10, 11, 12, 13 also makes the inductor 6 its corresponding pivoting movement. The inductor 6 can thus be moved over the stationary workpiece.
Special connecting straps 21 and 22 (see FIGS. 4 and 5) are provided in order to be able to connect the two conductors 2a and 2b either in series or in parallel. The connection tabs are between the connection plates 14a. . .15b arranged in such a way that one end of each tab 21, 22 is firmly connected to a connection plate 14b or 15a. The free ends can either be screwed on to an upper or lower connection plate. This arrangement can be seen from FIGS. 4 to 6.
On the two connection plates 15a and 14b, the resilient connection tabs 22 and 21 are attached with good conductivity. Threaded pieces 23 and 24 are attached to their respective free ends. The axes of the threaded pieces are perpendicular to the sub-bases. In the connection plates through holes 25 and 26 are in the said Aehsriehtung of the threaded pieces through holes.
By means of screw pieces 27 and 28, which have threaded bolts 27a and 28a, the C-threaded pieces of the connecting lugs can be screwed tightly to the corresponding upper or lower connection plates. In Fig. 4 the screw connection for the series circuit is shown. To obtain a parallel connection, the visual pieces are to be inserted from the other connection plate according to FIG. 5.
In this way, the two upper and the two lower connection plates are connected to one another. The threaded pieces and the screw pieces are seen with a wide support surface so that a good transition contact is maintained.
The facility lets you see. Use particularly advantageous where the workpiece to be heated only moves in one direction. can be. The inductor's visual pivoting movement can be done manually or automatically. To limit the movement pivoting adjustable levers with corresponding stops are provided.
