Absperrventil.
Shut-off valve. The present invention relates to a shut-off valve and aims to enable rapid closing and opening of the valve. The invention consists in that an axially displaceable slide is provided for opening and closing the valve, which slide has an inclined surface on which a rolling element is supported, such that the valve is closed or opened by moving the slide . A ball can serve as a rolling element, which is pressed onto the valve seat when it is closed. The roller body can also be a ball or a roller, through which the valve body, for.
B. a cone or plate is operated.
In the accompanying drawing, for example, two embodiments of the subject of the invention are illustrated. It shows: FIG. 1 a valve with a roller body and Ven tilkörper, FIG. 2 an embodiment in which the roller body serves directly as a valve closure member.
The valve housing 1 is provided at one end with an external thread 2 and at the other end with an internal thread 3 in order to screw the same into a pipeline. The housing has a bore 4 transversely to the through-flow bore in the housing, in which a slide 5 in the form of a cylindrical pin can be displaced. The slide 5 is provided with a handle 6 and has a longitudinal slot 7 through which the pin 8 of the guide piece 9 engages, which secures the slide 5 against rotation. The guide piece 9 is pressed against the seal 12 by means of the union nut 10, whereby the pin is sealed against leakage of the liquid. The pin 5 has a wedge surface 13 which runs obliquely to the axis of the same.
The body 14, for example a ball, which is held loosely rotatably in the valve body 15, rolls or slides on this wedge surface. In -dem valve body 15 sits you processing ring 16, and the spring 17 has the Be strive to lift the valve body with its seal 16 from its seat. By pulling the handle 6, the valve opens, and by pushing it in it is closed again.
The exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 in that a bushing 18 is used in the housing 1 a, the spring 19 of which sits in the drilling. The lower end of the sleeve 18 is widened and designed as a crown 23 and forms the guide for the ball 20, which is pressed by the wedge surface 13 against the valve seat 21 and closes the bore of the sleeve 18. Above the bushing 18, a bushing 22 is pressed into a stepped bore which forms an abutment for the spring 19.
When the pin 7 is pulled out, the ball 20 is lifted from its seat 21 by the spring 19, so that the flow of liquid out of the tube 18 takes place via the widening designed as a crown 23.
