Description
Hinterradgabelaufhängung an Motorrädern.
Rear fork suspension on motorcycles. The subject of the present invention is a rear fork suspension on motorcycles, which is distinguished from known rear fork suspensions in that the rear fork is pivotably mounted on a horizontal axis of the vehicle frame by means of rubber block bearings.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a motorcycle, Fing, provided with the rear fork suspension according to the invention. 2 shows a detail of the vehicle frame in a side view and FIG. 3 shows a section along the line 111-III in FIG. 2 on a larger scale. In the example shown, 1 designates a horizontal axis, that is to say transverse to the vertical plane of the vehicle. This axis is held in a connected to the seat tube 2 of the vehicle frame eye 3 ge and carries. A holder 4 at each end for the footrests 5.
With 6 the rear fork of the vehicle is called. This is mounted pivotably on the horizontal axis 1 by means of two rubber block bearings. The rubber block bearings are formed by two hollow cylinders 7 made of rubber, which are reinforced on the outside with a metal sleeve 8 each and a metal sleeve 9 on the inside. The outer sleeves 8 are connected to the rear wheel fork 6, while the inner sleeves 9 are supported on the horizontal axis 1.
Between the inner bushes 9 and the eye 3, two spacer sleeves 10 are arranged, by means of which the C @ ummiblock bearings are held in the correct position.
These rubber block bearings work without any lubrication and also have the advantage that they largely absorb shocks and hard impacts from the rear fork and only transfer them to the vehicle frame in a very damped manner. This not only ensures very quiet driving, but also considerable protection for the entire vehicle.
