Adjusting device on seating and reclining furniture. The present invention relates to an adjusting device for seating and reclining furniture with a base frame and a hinged auxiliary frame arranged thereon. This adjusting device is characterized according to the invention by a detent lever rotatably mounted on one of these two frames with stop parts provided at the ends of the box row of the same and by a tes attached to the other frame, as a guide for the box lever the nendes bearing link, in which one of the He belrasten row assigned ,
spring-influenced locking bolt is mounted, with which a locking tongue also arranged in this bearing piece interacts, which when the auxiliary frame reaches its end positions when pivoting.
Impinging on the stop parts is displaced in such a way that it does not oppose your engagement of the locking bolt in the ilebel ratchet row when the subframe is opened, this engagement when. Lowering the subframe but prevented. On the accompanying drawing is. an embodiment of the subject invention illustrated.
Fig. 1 is a section of a couch furniture with the Stellvorrichtmig in the folded down state.
FIG. 2 is a corresponding view in the unfolded state of the adjusting device, and FIG. 3 shows, on a larger scale, the adjusting device two parts in section.
In Fig. 1 and 2 cc is the base frame of a piece of furniture on which a hinged subframe% is provided. On the base frame a an arcuate detent lever c is rotatably mounted, which has stop parts cl and c = at the ends of the row of notches. On the other hand, a bearing piece d is screwed to the subframe b, which has a continuous opening through which the box lever c extends and is guided in this way.
In this bearing piece d, a letter is stored under the influence of a compression spring e standing locking bolt f, with which a transverse locking bolt g, also arranged in this bearing piece d and having an opening gl in its middle part, interacts. The operation of this adjusting device is as follows:
When the subframe b is folded down, the locking tongue g assumes such a position that the locking pin f can protrude under the influence of the spring e through the opening g1 of this locking tongue in order to be able to engage with the row of boxes of the locking lever c. When the subframe is opened, the locking bolt f remains in engagement with this row of boxes, so that the subframe is held in the desired inclined position.
If, however, one swings: the subframe until it reaches its upper end position, the bolt mnge g hits the stop part c1, whereby it is displaced in a corresponding manner. In this case, the locking bolt f is displaced against the action of the spring e thanks to an Aldlallffflehe f1 provided at its engagement end, and is held out of engagement with the row of lever notches by the locking tongue y.
The subframe can thus be pivoted downwards until it reaches its lower end position and the bolt tongue is moved in the opposite direction, lun the engagement of the locking bolt with the notch lever c through the opening gt of the bolt tongue g through again.
