Process for the production of rotor rows of axial flow machines provided with blades. The present invention relates to a process for the production of rotor disks provided with blades for axial flow machines, e.g. B. of gas turbines, a rotor disk produced by this process and a form to carry out this process.
In the method according to the invention for the production of rotor disks provided with blades of axial flow machines, at least the crown part of the rotor disk is obtained by extrusion casting, while the casting mold rotates about a vertical axis,
wherein at least a portion of the molten metal required for centrifugal casting is fed to said mold at points which are arranged on the rim part of the mold. are.
The invention is illustrated, for example, in the accompanying drawing in which FIG. A vertical section through a casting mold for the casting according to the invention of a disk with blades and Fi-.2 is a top view according to FIG.
1 and 2 show a suitable measuring form 11 for the centrifugal part or the entire turbine disk with its blades. It essentially consists of a central distributor 4, which is connected to the outer rim part 2 with radial lines 5 and the blades 3, while a central l @ irrtlss 6 is connected to the central part 1.
The casting mold can be made according to the so-called lost ZV axis model method, in which a wax model is made of the object to be cast, this with a suspension of finely ground, heat-resistant material. Material sprays in and the mold burns after the ZV axis model has melted.
When carrying out the method according to the invention, a wax model of the turbine disk and blades can be produced by injecting molten wax into an appropriate mold. and providing the wax model with a number of s5 metrically arranged wax rods starting from a central zone, which are connected to the disk part in the vicinity of its circumference.
A heat-resistant mold 11, which has the shape shown in FIG. 1, is then produced from this model. The effect of the aforementioned wax rods is that radially extending passages 5 are created in the mold, which are connected to the central distributor 4 and, on the other hand, to the disk part of the mold, the openings into the mold being symmetrical about the circumference of the mold relevant disc part are distributed.
In Figure 1, the mold is shown in a position in which it can be rotated, that is, the disc part is horizontal and the axis is vertical. The distributor 4 is then vertical and stands with the upper surface of the disc through an inlet opening 6 concentric to the distributor, which is made of a heat-resistant sleeve 7 made of harder material than the mold itself and at its upper end a ground conical seat 8 has, in connection.
After melting the wax by heating the mold and immediately before casting, the inlet 6 formed by the sleeve 7 is closed by inserting a stopper 9 with a finite hemispherical end 10 in order to effect a liquid-tight seal against the seat 8. A suitable plug shape is. a refractory tube with a closed, semi-spherical end. The plug is inserted by hand or by spring pressure or
Load pressed against the seat with weights while the mold is kept rotating. Now you are in the distributor 4 liquid metal that flows through the channels 5 in the blade centers 3 and the rim part 2 of the disc. When the required amount of metal has been introduced in this way, the stop fen 9 is removed and the metal for the central part is introduced through the egg measure 6 while continuing to rotate the mold.
According to a variant of this method, the mold is rotated and a known amount of metal introduced through the channels 5, after which a predetermined time is waited to achieve a certain degree of solidification. Then the rotation is quickly interrupted by slurry and the metal for the central part through the inlet 6 is introduced.
In this case, the middle part is created by gravitational casting, and since the inner part of the rim part 2 has not yet completely solidified, a solid weld is formed around the entire disc, which firmly connects the two cast parts together.
It is important to carefully match the dimensions of the central manifold and the inlet to each individual case. For a specific turbine diameter, satisfactory results have been obtained when the diameter of the central distributor is approximately half that of the turbine disk, while the diameter of the inlet 6 is approximately half that of the distributor. Of course, other relationships and dimensions can also be used.
The described supply of molten metal for centrifugal casting enables light, in contrast to the supply through the center, a clean and precise casting, as the molten metal does not flow through the entire inner roughness of the mold and thus absorbs less impurities or particles of the molding material on the way .
