  <B>In ein Bett</B>     verwandelbarer   <B>Fauteuil.</B>    Die Erfindung bezweckt, auf möglichst  kleinem Raum und auf relativ einfache Art  einen Fauteuil in ein Bett verwandeln zu  können.  



       Fig.    1 zeigt eine beispielsweise     Ausfüh-          riuigsforin    des Erfindungsgegenstandes.  



       Fig.    2 zeigt den in ein Bett verwandelten  Fauteuil, jedoch ohne Polsterung.  



       Um    den Fauteuil in ein Bett zu verwan  deln, wird zuerst die aus der abnehmbaren  Verkleidung 11 und den Kissen 12 und 13  bestehende Polsterung weggenommen; alsdann  werden die beiden Seitenlehnen 1, von denen  mindestens eine innenseitig mit der Wand 3  (bzw. 2) versehen ist, um die Scharniere 10  so umgeklappt, dass die beiden je an den Leh  nen befestigten Tischplatten 7 den Boden be  rühren; hierauf wird die Wand 3 (bzw. 2) um  das Scharnier 9 so ausgeklappt, dass der An  satz 3a (bzw.     2a)    den Boden berührt. Der  mindestens annähernd rechtwinklig angeord  nete Ansatz     3a    ist so dimensioniert, dass die  als Kopfunterlage dienende Wand 3 sich nach  aussen hin erhöht. An Stelle der Tischplatten  7 können auch umklappbare Stützen ange  bracht werden.

   Das     Fussabschlussstück    4 wird  mittels zweier (nicht eingezeichneter) Stifte  am untern Ende des Bettes aufgesteckt. Das  Deckbrett 5 ist mit dem Fussrahmen 8 fest  verbunden. Die Rücklehne 6 bleibt unverän  dert stehen     lind    dient zum Aufhängen von    Kleidungsstücken. Zuletzt werden die Polster       l2    und 13 auf den nun auseinander geklappten  Fauteuil gelegt und das Bettzeug, das tags  über in einem Kasten oder auf einem hinter  einem Vorhang befestigten Seil aufbewahrt  wurde, kann nun bereitgestellt werden.

       Fig. 2 shows the armchair converted into a bed, but without upholstery.
