Schreibeinrichtung.
Writing device. The present invention relates to. a writing device which has a fountain pen. The invention is characterized by a volume-variable, through an ink duct with the pen in connection suction chamber of the fountain pen for a dilution liquid and by a closed container for concentrated liquid dye from the suction chamber, the whole thing in such a way that with each filling with dilution liquid always An equal amount of dye enters the suction space and mixes there with the diluting liquid for writing ink.
The suction space can advantageously consist of an elastic hose or be closed off at the rear by a piston which is designed as a dye container.
In the drawing, some embodiments of the subject invention are shown. Fig. 1 and? show partial longitudinal sections through a first, Fig. 3 and 4 through a second, Figs. 5 and 6 through a third and Pilo ,. 7 and 8 by a fourth and FIGS. 9 and 70 by a fifth Ausfüh approximately form, while FIGS. 1.1 to 14 details of FIGS. 9 and 10 illustrate.
The according to Fig. 1 and? trained fountain pen of the writing device has a two-part holder body. The rear part 4 of the holder body is rotatably connected to the front part 11 by a thread 8 or the like. With a stop nut 6 that is tight. with the nut thread i of the holder sleeve 11 is versehraubt, the rear part 4 is limited in rotation and prevented from turning completely out.
At the end of a narrowed extension 5 of the rear holder part 4, a hose 10 made of elastic material is fastened, inside which there is a saek-shaped closure in the form of a hood 9 between the hose and the holder part 4, which hood is also made of elastic material and one or more slits 19, which however remain closed due to the elasticity of the bag material.
The other end 13 of the tube 10 is bead-shaped in such a way that it is held between the narrowed neck 7.2 of the holder sleeve 11 and a shim ring 14 by screwing on the attachment 1.5, which carries the pen and through an ink duct 18 finitely into the interior of the tube Connection.
The rear, open end of the rear holder part 4 has a thread 3 onto which a closure cap 1 is screwed.
The operation of the writing device described is as follows: The rear holder part 4 contains a concentrated, liquid dye which can be refilled after unscrewing the cap 1. The filling of the fountain pen aeschielit in such a way that the end 15 carrying the optical pen is immersed in a diluting liquid, e.g. B.
Water, dips and rotates the rearward rotatable holder part 4 iun an angle determined by the stop nut 6 (Fug. 2), whereby the hose 10 is twisted. This results in a cross-sectional constriction and volume reduction of the hose 10, whose Wan applications thus press on the hood 9, where the slots 19 open slightly and a certain amount of dye from the dye container 4 into the hose 10, which remains the same for all fillings.
Then the rear holder part 4 is rotated back to its original position (FIG. 1), whereby, due to the suction effect, dilution liquid is sucked through the channel 18 into the hose 10, which with the quantum dye now also located in the hose closes itself Writing ink mixes. Since the tube has now assumed its original shape again, the pressure on the hood 9 is lifted again, and the slots 19 are thus closed again, so that no further dye can get into the tube 10 and the ink formed therein always maintains their concentration.
In order to ensure that the same correct amount of dye enters the tube with each filling in order to provide good writing ink with the diluting liquid that has been sucked in, the sack material and the number, arrangement and size of the slots 19 as well as the shape and thickness of the hood 9 are chosen empirically and the size of the twist angle of the dye container and thus the torsion of the.
Hose 10, of which the press solution on the hood 9 depends. The size of the angle of rotation is determined by a suitable arrangement of the stop nut 6.
In a second embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the dye container 17 is inside the holder sleeve 11 and has a rotary knob 16 at the rear end, by means of which the dye container 17 and thus the hose 10 connected to it can be rotated. In order to protect the rotary knob from accidental turning, a cover cap 1 is screwed onto the thread 3 of the holder sleeve 11.
Otherwise, the structure and function of this version are the same as the one previously described.
In this second embodiment, it would still be possible to squeeze and deform the hose 10 by moving the paraffin container in the axial direction in such a way that both the suction effect and the necessary pressing of the hood 9 take place.
A third embodiment is shown in FIGS. Thereafter, within half of the holder sleeve 11, a projection 5 is arranged, which divides this into two parts. In the upper part 4, the dye is poured in through the neck opening 2. A union nut 1 is used to close the parboil container 4 by means of a threaded attachment 3. The viewing tube 10 is attached to the attachment 5 with the hood 9, while the other end 13 of the tube is clamped between the narrowed neck and the washer 14.
In the lower part of the holder sleeve, a flat rail is arranged along the hose 10, which can be moved transversely by a lever 21, which is rotatable about the axis 22 in a slot 23 of the holder sleeve, in order to thereby move onto the hose 10 and thus simultaneously to each Hood 9 to exert a pressure.
The principle of operation is the same as in the first embodiment. 7 and 8 show another form of the fountain pen. The holder sleeve 11 is closed to the rear by a displaceable piston 24, which piston is attached to the dye container 17, the rear end of which protrudes from the holder sleeve 11. Piston 24 and dye container 17 are pierced against the front holder space 25; However, the opening is completed by an inserted, protruding into the space 25 bag 9 made of elastic Ma material.
The piston itself could also be designed as a dye container. One or more slits 19 in the sack 9 remain closed due to the elasticity of the sack. The front end of the holder sleeve 11 carries a projection 15 in which the writing spring by means of an ink duct; facing insert piece 27 is attached .. The ses insert piece 27 carries at its inner end a Triehter-shaped hollow cone 26, which is arranged opposite the hood 9.
The rear end of the holder is provided with a thread 3, onto which a cap 1 can be screwed to protect the protruding end of the dye container 17 from accidental contact.
In this embodiment, to fill the pen holder, the protective cap 1 is removed by dust and the holder with the attachment 15 is immersed in the dilution liquid. As a result of axial pressure on the protruding dye container, the piston 2-1 attached to it is pushed against the projection 15 until the elastic hood 9 is finally pressed into the hollow cone 26. As a result, the slots 19 open, and some dye in an always constant amount can escape from the dye container into the hollow cone. Then pull the end of the dye container back into its original position.
The slots 19 close see to follow the elasticity of the bag 9 again, and through the return piston 24 Ver dilution liquid is sucked into the cavity 25, which mixes with the be sensitive in the hollow cone quantum of dye to ink.
A last embodiment according to FIGS. 9 and 10 is designed similarly to the one just described, with. the difference is that instead of the sack 9, a rod 28 pushing the piston and protruding into the dye container 17 prevents the dye from passing into the suction chamber 25. The other end of this rod 28 is fastened in a set piece 27 by means of a bolt 29.
The rod 28 has at least one lateral recess 30, which can also have the shape of a continuous eyelet 30 'and is arranged in this way. is that when the fountain pen is in use it is located inside the suction space 25, but when the dye container 17 is pushed in it enters the latter.
The purpose of this arrangement is as follows: To fill the pen holder, the dye container 17 is pressed against the attachment 15 as in the previous example. As a result, the recess 30 reaches the dye container and is filled with dye.
If n on the dye container is withdrawn while the ink duct is simultaneously immersed in a container with diluting liquid, the dye located in the recess 30 comes into contact with the diluent drawn into the suction chamber and mixes with it to form ink.
A water-soluble dye can advantageously be filled into the dye container so that you can fill the pen holder at any time in the simplest way by immersing it in ordinary water.
Refilling the concentrated dye is only necessary at long intervals, so that this pen is practically always ready to write, as water is always available.
