Description

  

  Dispositif de protection destiné à empêcher l'introduction de corps étrangers  dans un véhicule, par une ouverture de celui-ci.    L'invention a. pour objet un dispositif de  protection destiné à empêcher l'introduction  de corps étrangers dans un véhicule, par une  ouverture de celui-ci.  



  Dans certains véhicules, des ouvertures  doivent     rester    ménagées dans l'enveloppe du  véhicule et, néanmoins, on doit, autant. que  possible, chercher à, empêcher l'introduction  de la pluie ou d'autres corps étrangers dans  le véhicule par ces     ouvertures,    tout en faci  litant     l'écoulement    de fluides gazeux qui doi  vent s'échapper par ces ouvertures, qu'on  ferme partiellement à l'aide d'un. dispositif  de protection. Tel. est le cas, par exemple,  pour les orifices d'échappement des échan  geurs de chaleur prévus sur les locomotives  à turbines.  



  <B>fie</B> dispositif de protection objet de l'in  vention comprend. des organes en forme de  gouttières, au moins un de ces organes com  prenant une partie formant déflecteur et  étant monté pour pivoter et disposé pour dé  vier de L'air qui se déplace par rapport au  véhicule en mouvement et au voisinage de  celui-ci, de façon à favoriser l'échappement  d'un fluide gazeux dans l'air ambiant par  l'ouverture.  



  Le dessin annexé représente, à titre  d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du disposi  tif de protection objet de l'invention.  



  La fig. 1 est une vue en coupe de cette  forme d'exécution.    La fig. 2 est une vue analogue à celle de  la fig. 1, montrant une autre position des  organes en forme de gouttières montés pour  pivoter.  



  La fig. 3 est une coupe transversale mon  trant schématiquement la. disposition du dis  positif sur le carénage d'une locomotive.  



  Enfin, la, fig. 4 est une vue de détail, à       phis    grande échelle, correspondant à celle de  la. fig. 1.  



  Ainsi qu'on le voit. à la fig. 1, une enve  loppe a d'un véhicule présente une ouverture       b,    à travers laquelle il s'agit d'empêcher des  corps étrangers, ou de la. pluie, venant de l'ex  térieur, de s'introduire dans le véhicule. Le  dispositif de protection monté en regard de       l'ouverture        b    comprend une première rangée  d'organes c, en forme de gouttières, approxi  mativement demi-cylindriques et présentant  chacun une sorte de toit à forte pente     d,    dont  la section est en forme d'accent circonflexe  et dont les bords sont séparés de l'organe c  par des espaces libres, de     fac.on    que la pluie  tombant sur le toit d se rassemble dans l'or  gane en forme de gouttière c.  



  Dans les intervalles restés libres entre les  organes c est montée une seconde rangée d'or  ganes e en forme do gouttières présentant égale  ment une forme générale demi-cylindrique, la  disposition étant telle que,     cornrne    on le voit  à la fi-. 1, les gouttes de pluie tombant ren-      contrent forcément l'un ou l'autre des organes  en forme de gouttières e ou c.  



  Les organes e sont partiellement fer  més par des lames f légèrement incurvées et  constituent des organes déflecteurs. Ils sont  chacun montés de façon à pouvoir pivoter  autour d'un axe     cg.    Tous les organes de cette  rangée sont     solidaires    de façon à pivoter si  multanément du même angle, comme on le  voit sur la fig. 2.  



  Un véhicule dont une, ouverture est munie  d'un tel dispositif, par exemple une locomo  tive, étant supposé se déplacer dans le sens  de la- flèche A (fig. 2), on donne aux organes  e la position représentée à ladite figure. Il  en résulte que le courant d'air extérieur qui  vient dans le sens de la flèche B est dévié,  comme on le voit à la     figure,    par les lames f,  de façon à créer derrière ces lames f une zone  de dépression qui favorise l'aspiration et la  sortie d'un fluide gazeux s'échappant dans  le sens des flèches C.  



  Comme on le voit à la     fig.    3, -Lui carénage  de locomotive présentant à sa partie supé  rieure la forme arquée indiquée en h, deux  rangées d'organes c et e sont disposées à par  tir de l'axe de     symétrie    D du     carénage    et  sont inclinées,     comme    on le voit à la figure,  vers les bords E et     F.    De la sorte, l'eau qui  se rassemble clans les organes e ou c est éva  cuée latéralement.  



  Le dispositif pourrait comprendre des  organes déflecteurs en forme de gouttières    montés pour pivoter indépendamment les uns  des autres. Il pourrait ne comprendre qu'une  seule rangée de tels organes juxtaposés ou     aii     contraire plusieurs rangées d'organes en  forme de gouttières, telles que     celles    qui vien  nent d'être décrites, avec des organes déflec  teurs mobiles par rapport aux organes en  forme de gouttières et assurant la déviation  des filets d'air dans le sens des flèches B. The protection device mounted opposite the opening b comprises a first row of members c, in the form of gutters, approximately semi-cylindrical and each having a kind of steeply sloping roof d, the section of which is d-shaped.
