Traktor.

Tractor.
This invention relates to a tractor with cinem hydraulically operated mechanism for automatic, dependent on the train control of the depth for a device attached to the tractor. In a type of tractor of this type, it is well known to use the device, e.g. B. to connect a plow by means of an upper and lower link to the tractor, the upper link being connected to a strong coil spring and changing the position of a valve-connected actuator lever. The valve controls the operation of the pump and a servomotor that uses suitable linkage to raise and lower the handlebars on which the device is attached.
A hand control lever connected to the operating lever controls the depth of the Fourche, and the device is automatically held at that depth by the pull control mechanism. bound.
When a tractor of the type briefly described above is used with equipment other than a plow, the train control mechanism does not work satisfactorily because a relatively strong compression spring must be used to provide favorable train control when at normal depths and under normal soil conditions is plowed; the spring is too strong to play with light tensile loads. Furthermore, the handlebars via which the plow is attached to the tractor can only be held in the lowest or highest position, so that the pull control must be used to regulate the depth of the device.
If there is insufficient pull to operate the pull control mechanism, the control lever must be operated to raise the handlebars and pull rod to their uppermost position. The control lever must also be actuated to relieve the hydraulic lifting mechanism in order to lower the handlebars and drawbar to their lowest position. In a lot of agricultural work this is a major disadvantage and prevents the tractor from being used with maximum power.
The present invention relates to a tractor with a traction control mechanism of the type mentioned at the outset and is characterized by a height control mechanism with the aid of which the fastening means for the device can be held at any desired height between its uppermost and lowermost position.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of a tractor according to the invention is shown.
Fig. 1 shows a side view of a tractor to which the present invention is applied and which is provided with a plow.
2 shows, on a larger scale, the rear part of the tractor, partly in section, partly in side view, the plow fastening means being shown in partly raised position.
FIG. 3 shows a cross section along the line 3-3 in FIG.
Fig. 4 shows a semi-schematic page a. View, partially in section, similar to part of FIG. 2, but showing the elevation control mechanism in its off position. In this figure, the various parts related to the train control mechanism are drawn with thick lines, while the other parts are drawn with relatively weak lines.
Fig. 5 shows a semi-schematic view a. Similar to Figure 4, but with the height control mechanism shown in its operative position; the parts related to the elevator control mechanism are drawn with strong lines, the remaining parts with weak lines.
FIG. 6 shows a partial cross section along the line 6-6 in FIG. 4.
In the drawing, 11 denotes the rear part of the tractor housing, 12 the tractor engine and 13 and 14 the front and rear wheels. The device shown in FIG. 1 is a plow 15 which is attached to the tractor via an A-shaped frame 16 by means of pivotably mounted upper and lower links 17 and 18. Of course, other devices can also be connected either directly to the handlebars or by means of a conventional drawbar which is carried between the rear ends of the lower handlebars 18.
A piston 19 (FIG. 2), which is arranged to move back and forth in a cylinder 21 attached to the tractor housing 11, is connected via a connecting rod 22 to a crank arm 23 mounted on the shaft 24. A pair of lever arms 26 are mounted on the shaft 24 and connected to the lower links 18 by lifting rods 27.
A liquid pump 28 is mounted on the housing 11 and is driven continuously by means of the tractor engine 12 via suitable means (not shown). As can best be seen from FIG. 3, the inlet and outlet valves 29 and 31 are slidably mounted in the housing of the pump 28. The inlet valve 29 controls a line 3 which leads from the sump to the suction side of the pump, while the outlet valve 31 controls an outlet line 33 which connects the pump and the cylinder 21 to an outlet.
The separate inlet and outlet valves are controlled by a rocker arm 34 which is rotatably mounted at 36 on a flange 37 protruding from the pump housing. One end of the rocker arm 34 is connected to the outlet valve 31 via a rod 38, while the opposite end of the rocker arm has a thickening 39 which forms a bearing for an adjustable bolt (41) which is mounted in the end of the inlet valve 29. A coil spring 42 holds the bolt 41 carried by the inlet valve 29 in contact with the thickening 39 of the rocker arm and tries to rotate this lever, as seen in FIG. 5, always counterclockwise.
In the thickening 39 of the rocker arm, an elongated slot 43 is provided, which serves to receive the lower end of an actuating lever 44.
The upper end of this operating lever 44 is rotatably connected to an eccentric part 45 of a shaft 46 which is mounted in the tractor housing. The shaft 46 can be rotated by the hand lever 47 to effect a back and forth movement of the upper end of the actuating lever 44 Ztl.
The upper end of the hand lever 47 runs in a quadrant 48 and the adjustable stop 49 can be adjusted to achieve the desired maximum furrow depth. A movement of the hand lever 47 in the direction of arrow 50 in Fig. 4 rotates the operating lever 44 clockwise around the pivot 51 (will be described in detail later), the lower end of the operating lever 44 rotating the rocker arm 34 in the counterclockwise direction, in Fig. 3 concerns, and the inlet valve 29 closes and the outlet valve 31 opens, so that the device dureli lowers its own weight.
The upper link 17, which is under pressure during operation as a result of the pull on the plow, is connected at its front end to an angle lever 52 which is articulated at 53 on the tractor housing and to a rod 54 on which a strong compression spring 56 is mounted . The front end of the rod 54 is articulated to an arm 57 which carries a rod 58 directed towards the front. As can best be seen from FIGS. 4 and 6, a sleeve 59 is slidably mounted on the rod 58 and is pressed against a stop nut 62 by a spring 61.
On the sleeve 59; a hinge part 63 is rotatably mounted, and the protruding pivot 51 is rotatably engaged with a central part of the operating lever 44.
When the plow is lowered to the ground by the movement of the hand lever 47 in the arrow direction 50 as described above, the pull given to the plow during plowing acts on the compression coil spring 56 via the upper handlebar and generates a movement of the rod 54, of the arm 57 and the rod 58 near the right.
Because the helical spring 61 on the rod 58 is stronger than the return spring 42 in the inlet valve 29, the pivot 51 of the actuating lever 44 moves to the right and swings the actuating lever 44 around the pin 45, whereby the rocker arm 34 is moved clockwise to move the exhaust valve 31 towards the closed position. When the device has reached the desired depth, the outlet valve is closed, the rocker arm 34 being in the neutral position according to FIG. 3.
It should be noted that when the hand lever 47 is raised to raise the plow, the spring 61 can be compressed so that the fixing lever 44 is moved backwards and the hand lever can be adjusted instantly, regardless of the pull of the device causing an immediate displacement of the arm 57 and the rod 58 to the left does not allow. This means that the plow can be raised at the end of a furrow without the tractor having to be completely stopped to pick up the pull.
The pull control mechanism described above works in such a way that a constant pull is automatically applied to the plow, whereby the working depth of the plow is regulated. If, for whatever reason, the pull becomes too great, the rod 58 with the pivot pin 51 is displaced slightly forwards, whereby the rocker arm 34 is rotated further clockwise from the neutral position, so that the inlet valve 29 opens and the plow is raised a little becomes ; this reduces the pull on him again somewhat.
If, on the other hand, the pull is too small for any reason, the rocker arm rotates counterclockwise, which opens the outlet valve a little and the plow can lower itself a little under its own weight, so that the pull on it is increased again a little. However, if it is desired to plow only to a shallow depth, such that the pull is insufficient to compress the spring 56, or when the tractor is used with other implements, including those connected to the tractor by a drawbar 65, which is carried by the lower link 18 (Fig. 2), it is impossible to keep the handlebars or the drawbar in a central position with the train control mechanism alone. Only two layers are possible, namely the top and the bottom.
As mentioned above, it is very desirable to be able to keep the drawbar and the attached implement at a selected medium height with certain implements and under certain circumstances.
This can be done by the height control mechanism described below.
On the shaft 46, concentric with the hand lever 47, an arm 66 directed towards the rear is rotatably mounted. The arm 66 has a widened, downwardly directed flange 67 provided with a bore 68, in which bore a plunger 69 is slidably guided. A plate 71 is attached to the rear end of the plunger 69 by means of a motter 72. The plate 71 and the plunger 69 are prevented from rotating during their reciprocating movement relative to the arm 66 by a pin 73 which is directed backwards from the lower part of the flange 67 and slides in a notch 73a in the plate 71 sees.
Between the flange 67 and a flange 76 formed at one end on the plunger, a spring 74 is arranged which always seeks to push the plunger forward.
A U-shaped cam 77 is rotatably supported by the pin 78 on the flange 67 of the arm 66 and is arranged like a rider above the flange. The cam 77 is connected by means of the link 79 to an arm 81 of an angle lever, the axis of rotation 82 of which is mounted in the tractor housing. A manual control lever 83 of the angle lever is fastened to this axis 82 and has the effect that when the same is actuated, the cam 77 is pivoted between the positions according to FIGS. 4 and 5.
There are locking notches 84 in the axle 82, into which a spring-loaded ball 86 engages in order to hold the lever in the predetermined positions.
The rotary motion of the arm 66 with the plunger 69 is controlled by a cam 87 mounted on the shaft 24, which shaft also carries the lifting arms 26. A cam roller or sensor 88 which contacts the cam 87 is mounted on the arm 66.
The height control mechanism is operated as follows: If, as in normal plowing, the traction control mechanism is active, the height control mechanism is inoperative, in that the manual control lever 83 moves forward and downward into the position shown in FIG position shown is swung. It can be seen that due to this movement of the lever 83, the arm 81 of the angle lever and the link 79 rotate the cam 77 in the counterclockwise direction. The end of the cam strikes against the plate 71 carried by the plunger 69, so that the plunger in the arm 66 is moved to the left against the action of the helical spring 7.
This pulls the front end 76 of the plunger away from its normal position in which it contacts the surface 89 of the actuating lever 44. When the parts are in this position, the train control mechanism and the parts connected to it, as shown in FIG. 4 with thick lines, can act independently of the height control mechanism.
If it is desired to use the high control mechanism, the manual control lever 83 is pivoted near the top into the position shown in FIG. In this Fig. 5, the various parts mechanically connected to the altitude control are shown with strong lines, while the remaining parts are shown with relatively weak lines.
The cam 77 is now pivoted into its upright position, so that the plunger 69 is pushed under the action of the spring 74 into a position such that the plate 71 carried by the plunger against the rear edge of the flange 67 of the arm 66 pushes. In this position st¯¯ @ the front end 76 of the plunger against the surface 89 on Be actuating lever 44 and serves as a fulcrum for the lever.
If it is desired to move the lifting arms 26 and the lower handlebars 18 connected to them from the uppermost position (FIG. 5) to a lower, middle position, the hand lever 47 is moved in the direction of arrow 50, the adjustment of the lever from FIG depends on the desired position of the lower link and the drawbar. The upper end of the actuating lever 44 is moved forward, and with the end 76 of the plunger 69 forming a fulcrum, the actuating lever 44 is rotated clockwise to open the outlet valve 31 and lower the lower link 18 and the drawbar 65 under their own weight.
When the drawbar lowers, see the lifting arms 26 and the shaft 24 rotate counterclockwise, and the cam 87 detects the cam sensor 88 on the arm 66 to pivot it counterclockwise about the shaft 46 on which it rotates is mounted.
Since the plunger 69 is carried by the arm 66, the plunger is pushed backwards and swings the actuating lever 44 counterclockwise around its upper pivot connection with the eccentric part 45. This backward movement of the lever 44 actuates the rocker arm 34 to close the outlet valve 31 and to interrupt the lowering movement of the handlebars and drawbar when they have reached the predetermined height.
It can be seen that there is a certain connection between the position of the hand lever 47 and the height at which the lower link 18 and the drawbar 65 are located. For a given movement of the hand lever 47, a certain movement of the cam 87 carried by the lifting arm shaft is necessary in order to move the actuating lever 44 and to return the inlet and outlet valves to their neutral positions. During the Be triel) the drawbar is automatically held in the predetermined position. th.
Any leakage losses in the hydraulic system which cause the handlebars 18 and the drawbar to sink below the predetermined height result in the arm 66 and the plunger 69 rotating counterclockwise via the cam 87 and the Noekenlühler 88 , whereby the operating lever 44 is moved and the inlet valve 29 holds open long enough for the handlebars and the drawbar to return to their previous position. At any time, the height of the drawbar can be adjusted in both directions by simply changing the position of the hand lever 47 is changed.
Even when the height control mechanism is in the operating position and the end 76 of the plunger 69 hits the surface of the actuating lever 44, the hand lever 47 can be instantly moved upwards by compressing the spring 74 on the plunger 69. Subsequent movement of lift arm shaft 24 and cam 87 returns the parts to their normal position. The spring 74 is, however, stronger than the spring 42 of the inlet valve, so that the latter is also compressed.
Under certain circumstances, actuation of the train control mechanism can render the elevator control mechanism ineffective. For example, in a spring tooth harrow, the pull will normally be insufficient to allow the pull control mechanism to act, and the height of the harrow is determined by the height control meehanismus as described above.
If, however, an obstacle such as a boulder or a root is encountered, the tension control spring 56 is compressed as a result of the increased tension, so that the arm 57 and the rod 58 move forward in order to overtake the Control lever 47 to turn the actuating lever 44 and to open the inlet valve 29. As a result, the harrow is raised from the ground and damage to the same is prevented. Similarly, when plowing with shallow furrows, the traction control mechanism can take over the operation of the hydraulic lifting mechanism from the height control mechanism when an obstacle is encountered.
In this way, the draft and elevation control mechanisms work together and allow the devices to be used most effectively in all conditions.
With the help of the height control mechanism described above, the attachment links and the drawbar can be adjusted and held between the top and bottom positions on any light, and the construction described is particularly advantageous when plowing with a relatively small depth or with harrows and work is carried out in the same way, and also when various devices, usually connected to a drawbar, are used.
It is clear that the invention is not limited to the construction shown and described, and that various changes can be made without falling from the scope of the invention defined in the patent claim.
