Device for supporting wall or similar objects. The object of this invention is a device for supporting wall objects, for example shelves, shelves, shelves or other similar accessories.
The invention is characterized by a po tence comprising two branches forming an angle between them, one of which, having a gutter section, is intended for. fit into a member that comprises the device and which is intended to be fixed vertically, which bracket has at its bottom a projection engaging in one of a row of holes in a supporting wall of the member, this projection comprising a body of the same height as the hole, surmounted by a spout which is applied behind the support wall of the frame.
In the accompanying drawing which represents, to. As examples, several embodiments of the object of the invention: ha fi ;. 1 is a rear perspective view of a first embodiment of the gallows.
Fig. 2 is a front perspective view showing the gallows and its support frame.
Fig. 3 is a broken vertical section of the whole (the la fi-. 2.
The -1 and. 5 are perspective views front and rear, respectively of a second embodiment of the stem.
lia fig. 6 is a perspective view of an alternative embodiment, the bracket being shown separated from its supporting member for clarity of the drawing.
In the embodiment which is represented in the fi--. 1, 2 and 3, the stem has a profile with a straight an- 1 e and comprises a vertical branch Vil, consisting of a gutter open at the rear, and a horizontal branch 2, consisting of a gutter open at the bottom. The vertical wings 3 are wider at the upper part than at the lower part and are rounded at their upper ends pos teres -l. This arrangement ensures the maximum resistance for the minimum metal.
In fact, the rounded tops are progressively connected with the top of the horizontal branehe 2. The latter also has the. form of an open gutter, the wings 5 of which form the side walls. These wings are diminishing. gradually in width towards the front end and are rounded to mate with the vertical branch 1.
A spout protrudes from the top of the inner wall of the vertical gutter. This spout consists of a vertical projection 6 extending rearward in the vertical gutter; this projection has a round shape at its rear and has a notch 7 forming a step in its. upper surface towards the horizontal branch 2; the base of this step is placed in the same plane as the upper face of the horizontal branch 2, the vertical face of the step being placed at a certain distance from the rear face of the inner wall of the vertical gutter; this distance is substantially equal to the thickness of the frame 8 having slots 9.
This frame preferably has a U-shaped cross section. The curvature of the projection 6 is such that this projection can be introduced into one of the slots 9 of the frame 8 when the normally horizontal support branch is raised; the lowering of this branch has the effect of introducing the projection into the slot, so that the vertical face formed by 1c step abuts against the rear face of the frame 8, the curvature of the arc of the nose being such that the protrusion fills the slot in the final position.
In this embodiment, the side walls of the vertical branch are placed respectively on both sides of the member 8 in the form of a gutter so that the inner wall of the gutter constituting the branch 1 of the bracket rests against be the inner face of the member.
According to the variant which is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the gallows has, as before, the general shape of an L, but the projection is provided on the end of the vertical branch 1 opposite to the horizontal branch; in the use position, the vertical branch rises from the horizontal branch 2.
In this case, the side wings 3 of the vertical gutter are narrower at their upper part than at their lower part and are bent in 4 at an angle a little less than a right angle, so that each of them is imperceptibly connects with one of the side wings 5 of the horizontal gutter-shaped branch, which also gradually decrease in width towards the anterior end of the branch.
The projection 6 extends behind the upper end of the bottom wall of the vertical branch. It has the same form as in the first embodiment described; the horizontal face of the step 7 is placed in the same plane as the upper edge of the vertical branch; the vertical face 7a is offset behind the vertical interior wall of the gutter by a distance equal to the thickness of the front wall of the frame 8, as previously.
The vertical branch 1 may have a reinforcement giving it the necessary resistance. This is how the upper part la. can be inclined forward and towards the upper edge of the wings of the vertical branch 1, so as to reinforce its upper edge carrying the projection. The face of the gutter which is in contact with the frame is flat.
The stem can be cast, hot stamped, etc. The gutter-shaped part of the horizontal branch may have a [J-shaped profile, that is, its bottom may be curved. In addition, to save the metal or more generally the material of which the bracket is made, this branch can be hollowed out or have a perforated structure when necessary.
According to fig. 1 to 5, the slots in the uprights are rectangular. However, these slots and the spout may have a V-shape or a tapered shape, in order to re-start the load over a phis large area and at the same time produce self-tightening between the spout and the slit.
Thus, according to FIG. 6, the side walls of each slot gradually narrow, so that each slot 9 is wider at. its lower part than its. the top part. The projection 6 has a corresponding shape, so that the part which is located below the spout engages in the corresponding shaping slot. It is evident that any risk of the protrusion being temporarily disengaged from the post due to rupture is reduced by the present construction. In addition, the pro portions may be such that a slight jamming occurs when the stem assumes its normal supporting position.
To place the jib crane on the frame, it suffices to hold it in an inclined position with respect to its normal support position, to engage the nose formed at the upper part of its projection in one of the slots of the member chosen at the desired height, then rotate the gallows around its projection by applying the bottom of its vertical branch against the front of the frame; the base of the projection of the gallows then comes to rest against the bottom of the slot of the frame and its beak comes to rest against the posterior face higher (the wall of the frame.
The invention thus provides a support device having the necessary strength and solidity. This device has only a minimum bulk, which is important when it comes to supporting shelves or shelves, because maximum space is thus provided above and below them; with this device, it is unnecessary to use crutches or props to support the spokes.
