Description
Process for the production of snap rings and snap ring produced by the process. The subject matter of the present invention is a method for the production of seated snap rings, the inner and outer edges of which are concentric to one another.
The snap rings can be seen with recesses on their inner or outer edge, which become smaller and smaller with increasing distance from the slot in the ring. This has the advantage that they can be used both as an inner and an outer snap ring.
The method according to the invention for the production of rings, the inner and outer edges of which are concentric to one another, is characterized in that at least two concentric snap rings are punched out of a workpiece in one operation, the parting line at least partially from the two rings at the same time forms the outer edge of the inner and the inner edge of the outer ring.
With reference to the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the procedural rens is explained, for example, in which two circlips are made in one work gear.
ZD #n Fig. 1 shows the two rings punched out in one operation in a plan view "while they are still concentric to one another, FinG. 2 and 3 show the two rings from one another separately, namely Fig. 2 the smaller one and Fig. 3 the larger one.
Fig. 1 shows the two rings 1 and 2 in C, their concentric position in which they are located immediately after the punching process, through which they are made from a non-represent Work piece were won. These snap rings have concentric inner and outer edges. The parting line 3 between the two rings 1 and 2 simultaneously forms the outer edge of the inner ring 29 and the inner edge of the outer ring 1. In the same work step, b In circular holes 5 are gradually decreasing with the separating joint as the center line and away from the slot 4 of the rings punched out.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, these holes result in n #n increasing. Distance from the slot 4, semicircular recesses, which are becoming smaller and smaller, 6. The size of these recesses is selected so that the rings have the same flexural strength in all the recesses. Each kn tn C of the two rings 1 and 2 can thus be used both as an outer and an inner snap ring.
The holes 5 do not need to be circular, that is to say the recesses 6 could also have a shape other than a semicircle. Finally, the smaller ring could be provided with cut-outs on the inside instead of the outside and the larger ring on the outside C instead of the inside, or even provide them on both edges.
Finally, more than two snap rings could be punched out of a work piece at once, in which case all these snap rings would be concentric with one another.
