Process for cleaning gaseous media contaminated by solid or liquid components and device for carrying out the process.
It is known to mix gaseous media contaminated by solid or liquid components with a liquid. The solid constituents pass into the liquid, whereupon the liquid is separated from the gaseous medium and the solid constituents are precipitated, if necessary, by suitable devices.
It has also already been proposed to at least partially atomize the liquid by means of the gaseous medium (hydraulic atomization), as a result of which the same surface area of the liquid can be increased considerably.
The present invention relates to a method for cleaning gaseous media contaminated by solid or liquid constituents, which are mixed with a liquid, which is characterized in that the visualization is fed to a wheel which atomizes the same and from there to a filter and that it is ensured that after it has left the at least partially purified gaseous medium and the filter liquid gel separate paths.
The invention further relates to a device for carrying out the method, which is characterized by a centrifugal wheel provided in front of a filter.
The centrifugal wheel can have blades by means of which it is driven by the flow energy of the gas-liquid mixture. However, a special drive can also be provided for the centrifugal wheel.
The arrangement can be made so that the vegetable enters the filter horizontally and is deflected downwards or upwards in this.
If necessary, the liquid can be circulated in that, after passing through the filter, it runs back into the container from which it was taken.
The wing wheel can, for example, have lamellae on the wings, on which at least part of the liquid image impacts, whereby the atomization effect is increased.
The bearing of the steering wheel is advantageously arranged outside of the filter fluid path.
If a particularly high degree of purification of the gaseous oil is required, it can be passed through an additional purification unit, which consists, for example, of a perforated plate and a filter arranged above it and separated from the plate by a sieve, the purpose of which is the sieve to protect the holes in the plate from being blocked by the filter material.
The filter can, for example, be designed as a ring filter, or it could consist of individual partial filters arranged in a star shape.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely shows:
1 shows the front view of the device in section, the left side of FIG. 2 shows the floor plan of the device with partial filters arranged in a star shape, and the right side of FIG. 2 shows the floor plan of the device with an annular filter.
FIG. 2 is a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1.
1 with a container is referred to, in the bottom of which there is a tube 2 for the supply of the medium to be cleaned. A line 3 connects the interior of the tube 2 with the space which contains the filtering liquid 4. The gas flow entrains the filtering liquid emerging from the line 3 and guides it from the inside into the atomizer, which is provided with drive blades (not shown) and designed as a centrifugal wheel 5, the bearing of which is denoted by 6. The gas-liquid mixture is atomized by the side rudder wheel, with lamellae 7 being provided on the circumference of this wheel to increase the atomization effect, on which at least part of the liquid mixture now impacts.
The centrifugal wheel is turned here by the flow energy of the mixture; an electric drive can of course also be provided. The centrifugal wheel is surrounded by the filter 8, which is either ring-shaped, as in FIG. 2, right-hand side, or consists of individual filters 8a arranged in a star shape (FIG. 2, left-hand side). The filter 8 is mounted on a pipe 13.
In the exemplary embodiment, the mixture enters the filter approximately in the horizontal direction. In the filter, the mixture can either be deflected upwards or downwards. On the right-hand side of FIG. 1, the gaseous medium escapes downwards in that the outlet openings from the filter are at the bottom. The filter liquid takes over the rinsing of the filter as it passes through and falls back into the container. On the left-hand side of FIG. 1, the liquid and the gaseous medium emerge horizontally; but it could also be deflected upwards.
The gaseous medium emerging from the filter 8 is passed through a further cleaning unit for further cleaning. This consists, for example, of a plate 10 provided with perforations, a sieve 11 and the filter material 12 lying on it. This additional cleaning unit can also be omitted.
