Shuttle. The present invention relates to a shuttle, in particular for automatic bobbin changing machines, which is characterized in that the shuttle itself is designed in such a way that it clamps the bobbin head. This clamping effect on the coil head can be supported by at least one spring.
The purpose of this construction is to reduce the shooter's weight by turning off the previously known metal clamping spring. Furthermore, in the case of the present embodiment, it is possible to transfer the brake caliper forces that act on the gate wall to the coil head as well. As a result, the bobbin head can be clamped more tightly during the time the shooter is under the influence of the brake tongue, i.e. during the drive and braking phase, than when passing through the shed.
In order to ensure parallelism of the coil and shooter axis, the coil seat can be designed to accommodate a prismatic coil head.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, namely Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a shuttle, Fig. 2 is the same plan view as Fig. 1, with the weft spool removed, Fig. 3 shows a cross section through the Schüt zen along the line III-III in Fig. 1, on a larger scale, and Fig. 4 shows a section, analogous to Fig. 3, of a detailed variant of the protection,
without weft coil.
The weaver 1 shown has in the usual way the continuous window 2 for inserting and ejecting the weft coil 3. Through a slot 5 extending from the end of the window 2 serving to accommodate the head 4 of the weft bobbin 3 to a side wall, a part 6 of the shooter is at one end separated from the rest of the shooter so that this part can be moved resiliently. The path of the free end of this part 6 is limited by a head screw 7 be, one end of which is Festge screwed in part 6 and whose head is in a bore 8, against the action of a compression spring 9 under the head, wel che the clamping effect can be adjusted by the shooter himself.
The shaft of the head screw 7 is designed as a dowel pin and prevents displacement of the resilient part of the contactor transverse to the clamping direction of the coil seat.
The prismatic head 4 of the weft reel 3, which is designed to be resilient per se through a longitudinal slot 4 ', lies. in a recess 10 of the shooter that corresponds in cross section to this head, between the springy part 6 and the rest of the shooter.
As can be seen from FIG. 4, the seat of the coil head containing the recess 10 can be lined with a material that is different from the material of the shooter.
