Description
Switch with multiple contact positions. The subject of the present invention is a switch with several contact positions and with a multi-sided tiltable contact plate mounted between a resilient tip and the one tip of an intermediate link that is tapered on both sides, which is characterized in that the other tip of the intermediate link is in one arm of a pivotable, double-armed operating lever is supported.
The accompanying drawing shows an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. 1 is a section along the line I-I in FIG. 2, FIG. 2 is a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1.
The contact plate 1 made of conductive material with the two bearings 2 and 3 and the three Kontak th a, b and c in the axis passing through its center of gravity is on the one hand in the pin 4, which also serves to supply power. and resiliently guided in the insulating plate 8. is, on the other hand, supported by the intermediate member 5, which is pointed on both sides, in the bearing 6 of the double-armed actuating lever 20 so as to be tiltable on all sides.
One tip 9 of the intermediate link 5, which is tapered on both sides, is supported in the bearing 3 against the contact plate 1, while the other tip 10 of the intermediate link 5 is supported indirectly by the spring 12 in the bearing 6 of the double-armed actuating lever pressing against the pin 4 20 is held. In the illustrated embodiment, the operating lever 20 is mounted by means of a ball 13 in the housing 11, so that one arm of this operating lever extends from its free end to the center of the bearing ball 13 and the other from this center to the contact point of the intermediate member 5 in the bearing 6 extends. The insulating plate 8 serves as a carrier for the mating contacts d, (e) and f.
The actuation of the lever 20 causes an adjustment of the intermediate member 5 and thus a tilting of the contact plate 1 into the desired position, for making contact with one pair of contacts with its fixed mating contact pair while the other contacts are inevitably kept open. So z. B. in the position of the lever 20 shown in the drawing, contact a with contact d and contact b with its counter contact (e), not shown, with separation of contacts c and f connected.
The switch can therefore also be used for interlocking purposes when interlocking several circuits is required.
Since the contact plate must always be supported on two points of the plate 8, the switch can also be used to bridge two contact points of the same,
