Streckengetriebe.
Line transmission. The present invention relates to a line transmission, that is, a transmission for the drawing rollers of drawing units for textile fibers.
Such known transmissions have a rear cylinder drive wheel which is driven by the Verzugswechselrad. It is generally known that the torsional stress of the rear cylinder causes the drive wheel to spring back when the delay change wheel is disengaged from it to change the gear ratio or the Ver train. Such a backward movement of the rear cylinder drive wheel causes a weakening of the yarn, which, although not immediately leading to a yarn breakage, harbors this danger for subsequent stretching processes.
According to the present invention, the transmission sits with the rear cylinder drive wheel rotating, concentrically arranged to it, annular member, which bil det with a segment of a diverging gear in the working direction of rotation of the wheel, in which a ball rolls under gravity.
Advantageously, a single segment between the ring-shaped running surfaces is firmly arranged. In the following execution examples of the subject invention are explained with reference to the drawing. It shows: FIG. 1 an elevation of a rear cylinder drive wheel designed as a barrel with a segment plate half removed for the purpose of illustrating the segments, FIG. 2 a section along line AA in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 an elevation of another Exemplary embodiment with half of the segment plate removed, FIG. 4 shows a section along line BB in FIG. 3 and FIG. 5 shows a detailed view.
In Fig. 1 and 2 it can be seen that the wheel is designed as a socket 14 which see ver on its outer circumference with teeth 11 and sits loosely rotatable on a drive shaft 12, which in a stand 13 for the wheel in the manner of the Swiss Patent No. 256470 'described stand is supported abge. A hollow drive plate 14 is firmly seated on the drive shaft 12 and. is located within the socket 10 to which the plate is fastened by means of screws 15.
This drive plate 14 ends shortly before the inner side 16 of the peripheral edge of the socket and carries a concentric, ring-shaped peripheral flange 17, which has 18 grooves on both sides that form the running surfaces for .die steel balls 1 9.
By means of screws 2, 2 segments 20 are attached to a segment plate 21, which in turn is connected to the stand 13, the segments 20 being arranged on both sides of the peripheral flange 17 on the drive plate in such a way that passages 23 between them and the peripheral flange which diverge in the working direction of rotation of the wheel (counterclockwise as shown).
In each of these courses 23 rolls a steel ball 19 during operation under the action of gravity, which are guided in the courses to follow engagement with the grooves 18 in the order circumferential flange. The segments 20 are made of hardened steel, while the socket 10 is made of cast iron in a conventional manner, whereas the drive plate 14 with the peripheral flange 17 is made of steel ver.
During the normal rotation of the wheel, the balls roll unchecked in the gears without exerting a braking effect on the annular drive plate 14. However, if the drive plate has a tendency to move backwards, the balls are immediately clamped in the gears and prevent the drive plate from rotating backwards. It should be noted that any eccentricity in the position of the wheel 10 or any play between the wheel shaft and its bearings do not impair the effectiveness of the clamping.
3-5, the drive plate 14 extends, so to speak, to the inner side 16 of the peripheral edge of the socket. Einein ziges segment 24 is attached to the segment plate 21 and provided with curved flanks 25 so that passages between the segment 24 and the flange 17 and the inner shoulder 26 of the drive plate are formed. These gears diverge in the direction of rotation of the wheel. The curved flanks 25 are grooved at 27 to form guide surfaces for the balls 19. On the segment plate 21, as shown particularly clearly Lich in Fig. 5, pins 28 are attached to facilitate the introduction of the balls 19 into the aisles 23 and to prevent the balls from escaping from the aisles.
