Faltschachtel.
I)ie Erfindung betrifft eine Faltschachtel aus Karton, bei welcher aus einem mit Schlitzen versehenen Stück Karton durch Umfaltung die Seiten- und Stirnwände gebildet sind und die sich durch h Gegeneinanderschwenken der Seitenwände schliessen lässt.
Diese Faltschachtel zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass jede Seitenwand einen Materialstrei- fen mit einem Randeinschnitt vor dem freien Ende sowie einen hakenförmigen Lappen aufweist, das Ganze derart, dass in der Schliessstellung der Schachtel die beiden an den mit den Randeinschuitten versehenen Stellen seit li ch ineinanderschiebbaren Materialstreifen einen bandförmigen Traghenkel bilden und der haLenförmige Lappen der einen Seitenwand den Längsrand des Materialstreifens der andern Seitenwand an der Umbiegestelle derart beeinflusst, dass die am Traghenkel ergriffene Schachtel sich nicht öffnen kann.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt. Es zeigt:
Fig. 1 den ungefalteten, mit Falzlinien versehenen, geschlitzten und gestanzten, zur Herstellung der Faltschachtel dienenden Karton,
Fig. 2 die verschlossene Faltschachtel in der Draufsicht und
Fig. 3 dieselbe in Seitenansicht.
Mit 1 ist in Fig. 1 der den Boden der Schachtel bildende rechteckförmige Mittelteil des Kartonblattes bezeichnet, dessen beide in der Längsrichtung gesehenen Enden je eine zur Bildung der Stirnwände 2 dienende Ver längernug aufweisen. Jede Stirnwand 2 ist mit zwei kreisbogenförmigen Schlitzen 3 versehen. An jede der beiden Längsseiten des Bodens 1 schliesst eine Seitenwand 4a bzw. 4b an, die an den an den Stirnwänden anstossenden Teilen mit Verschlusszungen 5 versehen sind, die sich nach dem Aufklappen der Stirnwände 2 und anschliessend der Seitenwände 4a bzw. 4b in die Schlitze 3 der ersteren einschieben lassen, wobei ihre verbreiterten Enden in eine solche Lage kommen, in welcher sie ein unbeabsichtigtes Umlegen der Stirnund Seitenwände in die Ebene des Bodens 1 zurück verhindern.
Jede der beiden Seitenwände 4a bzw. 4b weist an ihrem Rande einen Materialstreifen 6a bzw. 6b mit einem seitlichen Randeinschnitt 7 vor dem freien Ende auf. Vorgesehen ist ferner ein weiterer Randeinsohnitt 8 sowie ein Lappen 9a bzw. 9b an jeder Seitenwand.
Zum Schliessen der Schachtel werden die beiden mit dem Materialstreifen 6a bzw. 6 b und dem Lappen 9a bzw. 9b versehenen Teile der Seitenwände 4a bzw. 4b gegeneinandergeschwenkt, nachdem sie nach dem Aufstellen der Stirnwände um ihre Falzlinien winkelrecht zum Boden 1 gestellt worden sind, bis der den Materialstreifen 6a tragende Teil 10a der Seitenwand 4a unter den Teil 11b der Seitenwand 4b und der den Material, streifen 6b tragende Teil lOb der Seitenwand 4b unter den Teil 11a der Seitenwand 4a zu liegen kommt, was durch die Randeinochnitte 8 der beiden Seitenwände ermöglicht wird.
Zur Bildung eines Traghenkels werden alsdann die beiden Materialstreifen 6a und 6b um ihre in Fig. 1 gestrichelt eingezeichneten Falzlinien nach aufwärts, das heisst vom Boden weg und gegeneinandergeschwenkt und an der Stelle der Randeinschuitte 7 seitlich ineinandergeschoben, so dass sich ein durchgehendes bandförmiges, über die ganze Länge gleiche Breite aufweisendes Organ bildet, wobei sich der Lappen 9b an den Rand des niaterialstreifens 6a und der Lappen 9a an den Rand des Materialstreifens 6b als Sicherungsorgan zwecks Verhinderung eines unbeabsichtigten Offnens der geschlossenen Schachtel anlegen, wenn letztere mit dem vor dem Verschliessen eingebrachten Inhalt getragen wird.
Das Verschliessen der Faltschachtel erfordert lediglich einige wenige Handgriffe wie auch das nachherige Öffnen. In ungefaltetem Zustande beansprucht ein aus einer Mehrzahl solcher Schachteln gebildeter Stapel nur sehr wenig Raum, der sich zudem sehr bequem verpacken und zum Versand bringen lässt.
