Frame with a drawing board that can be moved up and down. Height-adjustable drawing boards are normally balanced by means of counterweights in such a way that a relatively small force is sufficient for the height adjustment.
The snack parts of the counterweights in terms of space requirements and bulkiness of the frame construction are such that a better solution must be sought for all cases where good space utilization is important. Arrangements with balancing the weight by springs have shown no success to this day.
When the subject of the present invention forming frame for up and down movable drawing boards, a spring system is used for the, equal to the weight, but according to the invention the weight of the drawing board in the central position of the height displacement by a spring force so compensated. is that in the two end positions of the height shift a maximum of 20;% of the board weight including accessories are not compensated.
Fig.l of the accompanying schematic drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, in part in section; Fig. 2 shows parts of FIG. 1, partly in horizontal section.
1 is the drawing board with .Schienen 2, which are inserted into tubes 2a and hang on tension springs 6 of these tubes. The tension springs are designed in such a way that the drawing board is in equilibrium in the middle position of the height shift and the excess weight in the upper and lower end positions is at most 20 / '0 of the board weight. 4 .are parking brakes with handles.
These brakes act on the tubes 2a and he allow the board to be held at the desired height, with the Brem sen 4 released by pressing the handles and tightened when released. 5 is a horizontal axis of rotation which is attached to the work table 6 by means of bearings 12. On the axis of rotation 5 carriers 7 and 9 are attached to which the tubes 2a are attached.
The axis of rotation 5 thus allows changes in the inclination of the board. While the drawing board in the lowest working position is so in equilibrium with respect to the axis of rotation 5 that it is easy to adjust the inclined position after releasing the lock to be described, please include the board in the upper positions, otherwise the same thing would fall backwards.
Usually a more or less complex system of counterweights is used to ensure balance with respect to the axis of rotation. To this. To avoid ver, no counterweights are used here, but a lock is provided that allows a change of the inclined position only in that height position of the board in which the same is approximately in equilibrium, based on the axis of rotation 5.
For this purpose, a bolt 10 is movably seated in a carrier 9, which by means of a lever 11 with a handle against a spring force can only be pulled out of holes in the carrier 8 in the above-mentioned height position. The lever 11 is rotatably mounted on the drawing board 1 and only comes into engagement with the bolt 10 in the aforementioned height position of the latter.
