Dia vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung an langen Hosen, wie Sporthosen und Militärhosen, zum Verhüten des Ein dringens von ,Schnee in die Stiefel über deren obern, Rand, wobei die Hosenbeine an ihrem untern Ende ein doppeltes Stück aufweisen, das einen nach unten offenen Überschlag bil det zur Aufnahme des Randes des Stiefel schaftes.
Die Erfindung ist -dadurch gekennzeich net, dass der äussere Teil und der innere Teil des doppelten Stückes auf einer Seite des Hosenbeines aufgeschlitzt sind, wobei der äussere Teil auf einer Seite des Schlitzes eine Zunge trägt, die geeignet ist, unter das jen seits des Schlitzes sich befindende Ende des äussern Teils geleg-h zu werden, und dass Organe am äussern Teil neben dem Schlitz zum Spannen dieses äussern Teils um den Stiefelschaft angebracht sind.
Die beiliegende Zeichnung zeigt eine bei spielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfin- dungsgegenstandes.
Fig. 1 ist eine räumliche Darstellung des untern Teils eines Hosenbeines.

In der Zeichnung bezeichnet lein Hosen bein, das an seinem untern Ende einen verti kalen Schlitz 2 aufweist, der es ermöglicht, dass der Fuss des Trägers bequem durch die Öffnung des Hosenbeines. hindurchsehlüpfen kann. Am untern Rand des Hosenbeines sind Riemen 3 angebracht, die bei angezogener Hose um den Fuss gelegt werden. Ein äusserer Teil 5 ist durch eine Naht 4 am Hosenbein in einiger Entfernung von dessen unterem Rand befestigt.
Der Teil 5 kann aus dem selben Stoff wie die Hose, aber auch aus einem festeren Material, z. B. Leder, be stehen. Mit dem Hosenbein ist beim Schlitz ein Lappen 6 verbunden. Der Teil 5 weist an seinem einen Ende die Zunge 7 auf, welche dazu bestimmt ist, über den innern Teil la und unter das gegenüberliegende Ende 51 des äussern Teils 5 gelegt zu werden, welche Enden 7 und 51 in Fig. 1 nach oben ge klappt dargestellt sind.
Wenn der Stiefel angezogen wird, kommt der innere Teil la des Hosenbeines mit dem Lappen 6 in den Stiefelschaft zu liegen (Fig. 3), während der Teil 5 auerhalb davon liegt. Der Oberteil des Stiefelschaftes liegt also unter einem nach unten offenen Über schlag, so dass jegliches Eindringen von Schnee in den Stiefel verhindert ist.
Der Teil 5 wird durch Riemen 8 um den Stiefelschaft festgezogen, die am Ende 51 des Teils 5 sitzen und dabei in Schnallen 9 befestigt werden.
Die Öffnung des Schlitzes 2 kann durch einen Einsalz aus Stoff oder Gummi bedeckt sein, der gross genug ist, um das Passieren des Fusses zu gestatten.
