Fig. 3 einen Schnitt gemäss Linie I-1.
Method and device for producing endless cable sheathing. There are machines known with which one or more commonly running grooved flexible hoses and tubes can be produced in such a way that tape material from revolving supply coils with an overlap on a mandrel to form a tape material pipe and the tape material pipe thus formed through a die Grooving that causes grooving, consisting of a rebate nut and a rebate screw,
is pulled from the mandrel and compressed. It has also already been proposed to use hoses or pipes produced in this way as cable sheaths, for which the folding screw is hollow and the cable is passed through it, with the finished grooved tape material pipe threading after exiting the Ge is compressed directly on the cable.
However, since the diameter of the cable passed through the hollow folding screw is considerably smaller than the inner diameter of the strip material tube, which is wound onto the winding mandrel surrounding the non-folding corner and pulled off from it, it is evident that a cable sheathing produced in this way is particularly special in the case of cables with a smaller diameter, it does not have the desired tight fit on the cable.
A subsequent pressing of the finished cable sheathing onto the cable is not possible without deforming and damaging the cable sheathing.
It is, however, possible to achieve a certain reduction in the inner diameter by compressing the grooves of the casing in the longitudinal direction within a caliber ring which narrows the outer diameter of the casing, immediately following the grooving.
However, the extent of a reduction in the inner diameter that can be achieved in this way is sufficient, in particular for cables of smaller diameter, in which the difference to be compensated between see: the diameter of the cable and the inner diameter of the sheath is relatively large, not; This also gives the cladding a disproportionately large wall thickness, which means that a considerable amount of additional tape material is required. These disadvantages are eliminated by the present invention.
The subject matter of the present invention is a process for the production of endless cable sheathing, in which tape material is wound from revolving supply reels with rtJberl.appung onto a mandrel, through which the cable is passed, and the tape material tube thus formed is wound through a tube arranged at the end of the mandrel - the thread socket is pulled off the mandrel and grooved,
and according to which the creasing of the band material in a thread mount consisting of a rebate nut and a rebate screw is carried out in such a way that the inner diameter of the band material tube is reduced so far during the creasing that the finished and compressed band material pipe is firmly on the hollow one Seating screw exiting cable.
The invention also relates to a device for performing this method. It has been shown from experiments that a gradual reduction in diameter can be achieved during the ripening of the strip material tube,
which, in connection with the jamming of the pre-grooved strip material tube, allows a further reduction in the inside diameter that is sufficient for all cases and a perfect, tight fit of the cable sheathing on the cable.
The reduction in the inner diameter of the cable sheathing can be achieved by means of a device in which the grooving effect is made up of a rebate nut and. Falz worm existing threaded socket is provided with a thread, the diameter of which decreases in the direction from the inlet end to the outlet end of the threaded socket.
It can be a single or multiple thread. It proves to be particularly useful if an increase in the thread apex is provided at the end of the thread of the rebate nut, which in the last part of the creasing process causes the grooves to be drawn in even deeper.
In the case of multi-start threads, this elevation of the profile tip is of course to be provided at the end of each thread turn.
In the drawing, for example, embodiments of the device forming the subject matter of the invention are illustrated.
They show: FIG. 1 a half axial section (through the threaded socket of a machine for producing endless cable sheaths, FIG. 2, the front view of a second embodiment of a folded nut of the threaded socket,
3 shows a section along line I-1. The end part of the hollow winding mandrel of the machine for producing endless cable sheaths is denoted by 1, on which the strip material required to form the cable sheath is wound by rotating supply reels.
This winding mandrel 1 is followed by a threaded socket, which consists of a rebate nut 2 and a rebate screw 3, the latter being hollow in order to: the implementation of the cable to be sheathed to it possible. The folding screw 3 has a thread 4 which tapers towards the end of the folding screw.
Likewise, the rebate nut 2 has a thread 5 that tapers towards the outlet end of the jacket. This thread 5 can be about 4 turns beyond the end of the thread 4 of the rebate screw 3 extend and has on this protruding part an inwardly directed elevation .des thread crest 6, through which the grooves of the building material pipe produced by the threaded socket are drawn a further deep.
The thread, the thread mount, that is to say the threads of the folding nut 2 and the folding screw 3, which work together, can be single or multiple.
The wear and tear of the thread 5 of the rebate nut is at the inwardly protruding increase of the thread apex 6 on the largest. It is therefore recommended that he increase the thread apex 6 on a special, interchangeable insert on the nut 2 to be arranged, as in the Embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 3 is provided. In Figs. 2 and 3, a double-threaded nut is shown.
The rabbet nut body is denoted by 7, and 8 and 8 'are its two threads. At the ends of these threads 8 and 8 ', as a continuation of the same, elevations of the profile apex 9 and 9' are arranged, which are inserted into the rebate nut body on the insert pieces 10 and 10 'in a radially directed guide 11 and 11'.
These insert pieces 10 and 10 'can be arranged both fixed and resilient, in which latter case compression springs act on the insert pieces 10 and 10'. The resilient support of the inserts with the extensions of the profile apex of the nut thread has the advantage that if irregularities occur in the strip material tube, be it due to changes in the material contact or material defects,
As this can happen, the heights of the thread apex at the end of the rebate nut thread, which are most subject to wear, can recede outwards without being excessively worn or damaged. Since the insert pieces adjust automatically as a result of their resilient support, the effect of the thread apex elevations remains even after their normal wear and tear.
