Schützenauffangvorriehtung an Webstuhl.
Fig. 9 einen Schnitt nach Linie II-II in Fig. B.
Rifle catching device on loom. The shooter arresting devices known to date have various, sometimes serious, disadvantages. The braking force of these devices must be precisely adjusted so that the shooter comes to a standstill in the right place on the sley.
But since the shooter conditions as a result of changes in the operating conditions, such as temperature, wear and tear and contamination of the shooter, is not always braked with the same effect by the Auffangvor direction, the known devices must always be readjusted by the weaver. But even with the most attentive maintenance, malfunctions cannot be avoided, as as soon as the shooter does not always come to a standstill in exactly the same place, this can lead to the chair being stabbed or, in the case of machines, to incorrect changes. If the shooter has a tendency to rebound, the reel is endangered.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, a liquid buffer in combination with a conventional brake tongue has already been proposed, in which case the buffer is designed as a liquid displacement body that tries to automatically return to its normal position after the recoil, whereby the space is off which the body displaces the liquid through at least one throttle channel with a liquid space in communication. This known device already achieves a great advantage in that the liquid buffer has the property of always automatically adapting to the necessary braking force.
This execution alone also had difficulties of a constructive nature.
Naturally, the requirements for sealing the buffer in terms of effectiveness and freedom from friction are high in such devices. A particular difficulty is that, even if no liquid escapes through the seal during operation, small amounts of air are conveyed into the housing of the device by the reciprocating movement of the piston, which over time forms an air cushion form, so that finally the moving piston does not, or no longer exclusively, conveys liquid, but also partially conveys air.
However, in order for the buffer to remain effective, it must be ensured that no air can get behind the piston.
The present invention now forms .eine .Schützenauffangvorrichtung on a loom, in which the buffer is designed as a liquid displacement body, in which the above-mentioned disadvantage of the known constructions of this type is to be avoided.
The device according to the invention is characterized for this purpose in that a cylinder body is arranged in the housing of the device, in which the piston adjoining the buffer head penetrates,
that above half of the piston seal designed as a cuff a valve is provided for air to exit the cylinder body and that the pressure cylinder space is connected to the base of the housing via a duct to prevent air from entering the air space of the housing Pressure cylinder space can get. A further valve for the air inlet and outlet is conveniently located in the upper part of the housing.
It can thus be achieved that air which has penetrated into the housing as a result of the piston movement is immediately drawn into the air space of the housing via the valve arranged above the sleeve and does not get behind the piston. The aforementioned inlet and outlet valve can be designed as an overpressure valve so that any overpressure that may develop in the housing is avoided and, on the other hand, air can be introduced.
Finally, in order not to weaken the cylinder walls with an opening, it is useful to design the cylinder wall in such a way that it surrounds the piston with play. This eliminates the need for a special throttle channel.
In the accompanying drawing, some exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in FIGS. 1 to 9.
It shows: FIG. 1 a view of the shuttle catching device attached to the end face of a sley, FIG. 2 a plan view of the shuttle catching device according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 a front view of the shuttle catching device according to FIG. 1,
4 shows a vertical section through the rifle catching device on a larger scale, FIG. 5 shows a cross section along line II in FIG. 4, FIG. 6 shows the same section of an embodiment variant, FIG. 7 shows the combined inlet and pressure relief valve, FIG. 8 a section through a second embodiment of the rifle arresting device,
9 shows a section along line II-II in FIG. B.
The end of a sley marked 1 has a brake tongue 2 in a known manner. 3 with the picker is referred to, the, shooter 4 hits. The collecting device is built on the sley 1, the buffer head 6 of which rests against the picker 3. As if from Fig. 4, the buffer head 6 is verbun with a piston 7, which is guided in a flange 8 and protrudes into the housing 5 of the collecting device. A sleeve 9 seals the piston.
In the housing 5 eats. Cylinder body 10 is provided, in the wall of which a non-return valve 11 is installed immediately above the cuff 9. The cylinder space is connected to the base of the housing 5 by a channel 12.
In the example according to FIG. 6, in contrast to the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5, Z-partition walls 13 are also provided in the housing. The partition walls 13 are intended to prevent the liquid from separating as a result of the The oscillating movement of the buffer is swirled too much with air. They are designed as slightly resilient membranes and are only attached to the top of the housing.
As a result of the inertia, the intermediate walls 13 act as a check valve at the lower point of contact with the housing wall, so that the liquid only flows against the center of the housing.
Fig. 7 shows the combined inlet and pressure relief valve 14, which is installed in the housing 5 above. The valve 14 has a conical bore 15 into which a body 16 is pressed under the effect of the internal overpressure in the housing 5. The body 16 itself in turn has a conical bore 18 against which a valve body 19 rests, the shaft of which is fastened with a nut 20 on the spring plate 21 and is under the action of the spring 17.
When the device is put into operation, after the required amount of oil has been poured into the housing 5, air is first pumped through the combined inlet and pressure relief valve 14 until the pressure in the housing 5 is given by the pressure relief valve. During the first piston movements, the air initially present in the cylinder space is pushed through the valve 11 into the air space of the housing 5 and liquid is sucked into the cylinder space from the bottom of the housing 5 until finally the cylinder space only contains liquid, such as shown in Figs.
With each further Kol benhub some oil is pressed through the valve 11 into the air space of the housing 5 and the same amount of oil is sucked in from below. Numerous tests have shown that the pressure in the housing increases steadily during operation without air venting. In spite of the already existing overpressure, some air bubbles adhering to the piston are introduced with each piston stroke. which can no longer come out due to the shape of the sleeve 9. These bubbles rise into the upper part of the pressure cylinder space and are evacuated through the valve 11 into the housing with each piston stroke. The already existing pressure in the housing 5 is only increased until the valve body 19 is raised.
The mode of operation of the Ausführungsbei game according to FIGS. 4 and 5 is briefly as follows: During the movement of the piston 7, the liquid in the cylinder body 10 is expelled through the throttle channel 10a. Thus, the piston 7 is braked according to the size of this channel. It should be noted, however, that the braking effect is greater, the greater the visual speed of the piston 7, in other words, the greater the speed of the impacting shooter.
The braking distance will therefore be the same for every speed of the shooter and he will come to a stop at the same point. Approximately by the reciprocating movement of the piston 7 in the housing 5 introduced air can pass through the valve 11 in the upper, air-filled space of the housing and is therefore not stuck behind the piston and can therefore not sen Impair the effectiveness.
Finally, the channel 12 ensures that air cannot enter the liquid-filled cylinder from the upper part of the housing in which there is air.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 8 and 9, a different solution has been chosen in order to avoid the throttle duct which weakens the cylinder body. Here, the piston 7 does not penetrate into a cylinder body 10 that fully encloses it on all sides, but the cylinder body 10 surrounds the piston 7 with play, so that a throttle channel, corresponding to channel 10a according to FIGS. 4 and 5, passes through the .Spiel between the piston 7 and the cylinder wall results.
Again, a connecting channel 12 is again provided to prevent air from entering the Zylin derraum.
Otherwise, the embodiment according to FIGS. 8 and 9 has the same design as that according to FIGS. 4 and 5.
Another advantage of the devices shown is that they can be easily adapted to all operating conditions that occur, in particular all shooter weights that occur, without difficulty. It is sufficient namely, the throttle channel 10a according to the embodiment of FIGS. 4 and 5 respectively. to change the game between piston and cylinder according to the execution example of FIGS. 8 and 9 in order to adapt the collecting device to a new Schüt zengewicht or otherwise changed operating conditions.
In addition, there is also the possibility of operating the Auffangvor direction with liquids of different viscosity, whereby the same effect can be achieved. With just a few standard fluids of known viscosity, one and the same shooter arresting device can be designed for practically all operating conditions. The adjustment can be made not only at the manufacturer, but also directly at the point of use by unskilled assistants.
