System with a gas turbine and at least one internal combustion piston compressor. The invention relates to a system with a gas turbine and at least one Brennkra.ft piston compressor for the generation of the propellant and the purpose of the performance BEZW. to increase the profitability of the system.
In systems with internal combustion piston compressors for generating the propellant, the useful power part is a gas turbine. The internal combustion piston compressor forms the propellant generating part of the system and thus has to meet completely different operating conditions than a supercharged internal combustion engine with power output to the outside.
With the recent development of gas turbines, the entry conditions for the propellant in the gas turbine have changed wesent Lich.
In order to be able to fully exploit the advantage of the development of the gas turbine, it is proposed according to the invention to provide both means for further energy supply to the propellant and a further heat utilization system, the heat transfer medium of which is heated by the propellant in the heat exchange. Only by combining the two can the capacity of the generation part of that of the useful output part be adapted so that the system is more economical.
In the drawing several Ausfüh approximately examples of the invention are schematically. shown.
Fig. 1 shows a system with propellant bit.zer in front of the grass turbine and steam system. 2 is a system with pre-compression, a combustion chamber in front of the gas turbine and a forced circulation steam boiler.
Fig. 3 is a system with external propellant gas heating before the gas turbine, intermediate heating and a steam generator with high gas and water speeds.
FIG. 4 shows a section through the first propellant gas heater according to FIG. 3. FIG. 5 shows a system with intermediate heating by combustion under pressure and a forced-flow steam generator connected to the propellant gas outlet.
Fig. 6 is a system with only intermediate heating and steam generation by means of firing for solid fuels connected to the propellant gas outlet.
In the system according to FIG. 1, the propellant gas is generated by means of a propellant gas generator, which has an internal combustion cylinder 1 and a compressor cylinder 2 in which the free pistons 3 work, the movements of which are synchronized by the Kuppelges.tänge 4.
The compressor cylinders 2 suck in the air from the environment via the Saugven tile 5 and convey the air compressed to several atmospheres via the pressure valves 6 into the pressure line 7, which can also be a collecting container and leads to the inlet slots 8 of the internal combustion cylinder 1. This air is used in a known manner as flushing and combustion air for the internal combustion cylinder 1 operating in the two-stroke cycle. The cylinder 1 and the pistons 3 have a cooling system fed by the pump 9.
In the inner dead point position of the piston 3, fuel is injected into the cylinder 1 via the fuel valve 10. The fuel pump and the fuel regulator are omitted as known elements.
During the outward stroke of the pistons 3, the outlet slots 11 open and the hot combustion gases, together with the scavenging air forced through the inlet slots 8, pass through the line 12 into the combustion chamber 13.
In the combustion chamber 13, a z. B. In dependence from the fuel gas temperature controlled amount of fuel injected. The propellant gas is heated to a higher temperature and flows to the gas turbine 15, which drives the generator 16, which is connected to any network.
The expanded propellant gas flows through line 17, heat exchanger 18 and then into the open. In the heat exchanger 18, the propellant gas gives off heat to the heat carrier of the further heat utilization system. It is built as a steam boiler and the steam is fed from the upper drum via line 19 to the superheater 20.
In the latter, the steam is superheated to the high, permissible inlet temperature of the steam turbine 21 by the highly heated propellant gas. is coupled to the gas turbine 15. The steam expanded in the turbine 21 passes into the condenser 22 with the cooling system 23, through which cooling water is promoted by means of the pump 24. The condensate pump 25 sucks the condensate from the condenser 22 and the feed pump 26 conveys it into the lower drum of the steam generator 18. One.
Vacuum pump for sucking air from the condenser 22 is omitted for the sake of simplicity.
As a result of the heat exchanger 20 in the combustion chamber 13, the propellant gas can still be heated to a higher temperature than the entry temperature of the propellant gas into the gas turbine 15, which corresponds to the permissible level for its foiling.
As a result, a much greater energy supply is possible in the combustion chamber 13 than without exchanger 20, which, in addition to the heat dissipation in the exchanger 20 to the steam, increases the overall performance of the system in a very beneficial manner.
In the system according to FIG. 2, the air for the propellant gas generator 1, 2 is pre-compressed by means of the axial compressor 27 to a part of the inlet pressure of the internal combustion cylinder 1, which is several atmospheres. The pre-compressed air is fed to the compressor cylinders 2 via the cooler 28 and the distribution line 29.
The process in the internal combustion cylinder 1 and in the propellant gas heater 13 is the same as in FIG. 1.
In contrast, in this system, the steam is generated in a forced circulation heater by conveying the feed water into the drum 31 via the preheater 30. The pipe system 32, through which a water-steam mixture is circulated by means of the circulation pump 33, from which the steam separates in the drum 31 and is superheated in a first superheater 35, is used for the actual evaporation.
This is connected by means of the steam line 36 to a second superheater 37 in the combustion chamber 13, from which the highly superheated steam flows to the steam turbine 21.
Furthermore, the condensate is first passed through a cooler 28 and thus heated by the pre-compressed air. Since after it is passed through a heat exchanger 39 whose pipe system 40 is fed with the cooling water of the internal combustion cylinder 1 conveyed by the pump 41 in the circuit. The heated in the cooling jacket 42 cooling water releases its heat in the pipe system 40 to the condensate, which z. B. with 60 of the feed pump 26 flows. The cooler 28 can be switched off by means of the valves 43 and 44. In this system, the gas turbine 15 now drives the generator 16, while the steam turbine 21 drives the auxiliary machines, namely the pre-compressor 27 and the feed pump 26.
A coupling 38 is provided between the gas turbine 15 and the steam turbine 21 for starting the auxiliary machines, if there is no steam available.
The Sehiffsanl; riebsanlage in Fig. 3 has m (your propellant gas generators 1, 2, which are connected in parallel to the line 29 for pre-compressed air, which is supplied by the two-housing pre-compressor fan 50, 51 with the intercooler 52 and before its entry into the Line 21 flows through a cooler 28.
The propellant gas generators 1, 2 are also on in parallel. the propellant gas line 53 is connected, which leads to the propellant heater 54.
The propellant gas enters the annular space 55 of the propellant gas heater 54 from the line 53 (FIG. 4), flows through the tube bundle 56 into the chamber 57, to which the line 58 to the gas turbine 59, 60 connects. The tube bundle 56 is heated from the outside in that air is supplied to the burner 62 from an intermediate stage of the fan 50 via the line 61. The combustion gases in the combustion chamber 63 wash around the pipe system 56 and escape into the open via the outlet 64.
The jacket of the combustion chamber 63 is double-walled or. see with cooling coils 65 ver, which serve as steam heaters.
A further combustion chamber 66 is connected between the WD gas turbine 59 and the LP gas turbine 60 (FIG. 3), which fuel is continuously supplied via the burner 67 in a controlled amount. The propellant gas, which is under intermediate pressure, is heated again to a higher temperature, which can be as high as in front of the turbine 59, if necessary, can be kept constant ge.
The turbine 60 is connected by means of the line 68a to the combustion chamber 66, from which a further line 69 branches off to the auxiliary gas turbine 70, which drives the pre-compressor 50, 51 and the HP feed pump 71. The expanded propellant gas emerging from the turbines 60 and 70 is fed to the steam generator 74 by means of the lines 72 and 73.
From the space 7 5, the gas passes through the tube bundle 76, which consists of double-walled tubes, with a sharp increase in speed. The inner pipes carry the gas and the outer pipes the water to be evaporated in a thin layer. On the one hand due to the high gas velocity, on the other hand due to the thin water layer, a high heat transfer and rapid evaporation is possible, so that the dimensions of the boiler are very small.
At the end of the tube bundle 76, the diffuser connects, which serves to reduce the high speed in the gas, in particular when the gas speed in the tube bundle 76 corresponds approximately to the speed of sound.
The feed water fed by the HP feed pump 71 via the line 77 into the tube bundle 76 enters the jacket 78 which surrounds the space 75. At the upper end of the water jacket 7 8, steam emerges which is passed through the first superheater 80 when the valve 79 is closed.
Through line 81, the steam is fed to the second superheater 65, in which it can only be brought to the final superheating temperature, since the temperature of the combustion gases in the combustion chamber 63 is, for example, twice the relaxed propellant gas in space 75. The overheating temperature can be increased up to the highest permissible for the blades of the steam turbine 82.
The line 83 connects the superheater 65 to the steam turbine 82, which is coupled to the gas turbine 59, 60, which together form the useful power part of the system and drive the propeller 84.
To preheat the condensate conveyed by the pump 25, the air coolers 28 and 52 are connected in parallel to each other and can optionally be switched off by the valves 85 and 86. Instead of connecting the auxiliary gas turbine 70 for the auxiliary drives to the intermediate propellant gas heater 66, it can be connected to the heater 54 by means of the line 87 or by means of the line 88 directly to the line 54, in which case it is not with the intermediate pressure but with the highest propellant gas pressure can be operated.
The heating in the intermediate heater 66 can be limited to a temperature that enables the use of weakly alloyed materials for the turbine blades of the LP gas turbine 60 and the auxiliary gas turbine 70. If the propellant gas is temporarily heated in the combustion chamber 66, by branching off the line 69 from the line 68 in front of the combustion chamber 66, the auxiliary turbine 70 made of expensive, high-alloy, heat-resistant steel can be avoided.
In systems without intermediate heating, the auxiliary turbine can be connected to the stage of the main turbine for this purpose, in which the propellant gas has a temperature of 500 C or less.
The propeller 84 (Fig. 3) has adjustable wings 90 in operation, which be in a known manner by means of a servo motor 91 in the position for Vorbezw. Can be set backwards or in an intermediate position. The servomotor 91 is connected by the pressure medium lines 92 to the control slide 93, to which the pressure oil is fed by the gear pump 94 and which is set by the command status of the ship by means of a control line 95 in a manner known per se.
In Fig. 5, the internal combustion cylinder 1 of the propellant gas generator 1, 2 is connected directly through the line 12 to the HP turbine. The propellant gas is only heated between the HP gas turbine 59 and the LP gas turbine 60 in the intermediate combustion chamber 96 with the burner 67 and the superheater coil 97.
The heat exchanger 98 is connected to the outlet of the LP gas turbine and is designed as a once-through steam generator in that the feed water from the feed pump 71 is pushed through the pipe system of the heat exchanger 98 and is heated and evaporated in the process the superheater 97 to be brought to the superheating temperature permissible for the steam turbine 82.
The condenser 22 connects to the steam turbine 82. The feed pump 71 and the supercharger 27 are driven by the auxiliary turbine 70, which is connected to the combustion chamber 96. The Gastur binen 59, 60 and the steam turbine 82 are by means of the transmission gear 99 z. B. coupled with the propeller of a ship.
In FIG. 6, the expanded propellant gas from the LP gas turbine 60 is fed to the steam generator 101 by means of the line 100. In the center of the line 100, the burner 102 is arranged, which is operated ben with coal dust. The preheater and evaporator pipe system 103 is two-legged and arranged in the radiation part of the steam generator 101. The pipe system 103 is followed by the intermediate propellant gas heater 104 with the flue gas tubes 105 by way of the flue gases.
The propellant gas that emerges from the HP gas turbine 59 first washed around the upper part of the tubes 105 from left to right and then in the opposite direction, the lower part below the intermediate wall 106 in order to then be fed to the LP gas turbine 60 . Above the intermediate gas heater 104, the steam heater 107 is built into the boiler 101 and above the feed water preheater 108, which is connected to the HP feed pump 71.
The cooled flue gas emerging from the preheater 108 escapes through the vent 109 into the open. The arrangement of the steam turbine 82 is the same as in FIG. 5.
The ZVärmenutzungsanlage can be designed both as a low pressure steam system and as a high pressure system with an operating pressure of 50, 100 or more atmospheres.
The output of the heat recovery system can be the same or a multiple of the useful output of the gas turbine. For this purpose, an additional air supply next to the line 100 could be provided in FIG. 6, expediently with a further burner, so that a sufficient amount of fuel can be burned.
The heat recovery system can also only be used to generate a maximum output that occurs at times. For normal output, the steam turbine 82 would then be decoupled from the gas turbine 59, 60 by means of the clutch 110 (FIG. 6). Since the steam generator and the overheater can be switched off from the propellant gas flow by bypass lines, both to protect them from burning and to ensure that the steam system is immediately ready for operation. For example, for warships, the propellant gas system could be used without a heat recovery system while cruising.
The heat utilization system would be put into operation to generate maximum output at maximum speed. In this case, the heat recovery system should be designed to be as light as possible, even if the efficiency is somewhat lower.
If the gas part fails, the heat utilization part could be operated on its own by the combustion chamber 13 being closed off from the line 12 in FIGS. 1 and 2 and the exit of the combustion chamber 13 behind the superheater 20 directly through a bypass line around the turbine 15 the steam generator 18 respectively. 32, 35 is connected.
If the heat recovery system is only used to generate the additional output, i.e. the difference between normal and maximum output, the additional energy supply to the propellant could only be operated jointly with the heat recovery system. But it can also be carried out to a lesser extent when the heat recovery system is shut down.
With steam drive, the Vorverdich th to save another drive, z. B. when starting and idling, be switched off. In order to achieve the same as possible an inlet pressure \ in the auxiliary gas turbine, it can, for. B. be connected to the intermediate combustion chamber at full load of the system and to the high-pressure combustion chamber at partial load.
If the turbine to drive the auxiliary companies is operated with the heat transfer medium of the 'NYTärme- usable plant, an additional drive for the auxiliary machines, for. B. be avoided during start-up by the fact that switching devices are provided at the inlet and outlet of this turbine in order to be able to operate them wablweise with propellant gas or with the heat carrier of the heat utilization system.
In the case of steam, this turbine is to be designed as a back pressure turbine whose live steam is taken from one stage of another steam turbine and whose exhaust steam is fed back into a later stage of this further steam turbine so that the inlet and outlet pressures for steam at least somewhat match those of the propellant gas correspond.
The regulation of the continuous fuel supply can be different for the combustion chambers upstream of the HP gas turbine and the intermediate combustion chambers. To cool the combustion chamber wall, baffles can be arranged in such a way that the propellant gas, which has not yet been heated, first flows through between the combustion chamber wall and the baffle, in order then to be fed to the burner and heated within the cylinder formed by the baffle.
The heat utilization system can, especially in the case of ships, be designed exclusively as a heating system, as a fresh water preparation system or other heat consumer, or it can also include a steam power system.
