Dampfkraftanlage.
Steam power plant. In known, pressure-fired steam generators, such as a Velox steam generator plant, the combustion chamber is through a. Blowers are charged with combustion air to a pressure above atmospheric, the level of which changes depending on the load and approximately proportionally with the square of the amount of air. For this reason, the supercharger works at a speed that is roughly proportional to the amount of combustion air to be conveyed.
This fan is driven by a gas turbine, which receives its gases from the combustion chamber and whose drive power also changes to approximately the same extent as the power required - the charge blower. In addition to the gas turbine, an auxiliary electric motor or a steam turbine is also connected because the gas turbine cannot or cannot always fully generate the required blower output.
To avoid additional drive machines, other auxiliary machines are connected to this auxiliary machine group, for example the circulating pump that circulates the boiler water and the lubricating oil pump. The fuel pump and the control oil pump must be driven by a special motor with an invariable speed. A feed pump also belongs to the boiler system.
The main turbine system, operated for example by the steam from the Velox steam generator. also has various auxiliary machines, for example the cooling water, air and condensation pumps for condensation. The generator includes an exciter and often a special fan, etc.
The various auxiliary machines will be. usually each driven individually by motors or turbines, with only the various pumps in the condensation system usually having a common drive. To secure the operation of the plant, it is often required, for example on ships, that the auxiliary machines are driven by steam turbines, or at least that steam turbines are available as reserve drive machines in addition to electrical motors.
It is easy to see that a system with so many auxiliary machines, drive turbines and motors is very cumbersome, expensive and poor in efficiency.
According to the present invention, which relates to a steam power plant with a pressure-fired steam generator with a compressor and other auxiliary machines, the auxiliary machines of the steam generator are divided into two groups, each driven by a common motor, of which one with a variable speed and the other with an invariable or almost unchanged running speed.
The group with variable speed contains the supercharging fan for the combustion air, the gas turbine and an additional electric motor or a steam turbine, and in the case of gas boilers also the fan for the fuel gas, while the second auxiliary group with unchangeable or approximately unchanged speed, the circulation pump, the control and contains the lubricating oil pump and, in the case of oil boilers, also the fuel oil pump. This separation allows each auxiliary machine to be driven with the appropriate speed.
It has also shown that it is correct to set up the circulation pump as deep as possible under the water level of the evaporator in order to ensure that the circulation pump works properly. Combining the circulating pump with the fuel oil pump has the great advantage that when the circulating pump comes to a standstill, the fuel oil pump inevitably also comes to a standstill, which eliminates the risk of the boiler heating pipes becoming too hot.
This separation of the steam generator auxiliary machines into two groups has the advantage of the best suitable speed and position and the securing of the water circulation but the disadvantage that in the entire system there is another auxiliary machine group with drive motor or turbine, i.e. another Complication of the facility is present.
This disadvantage can be remedied in a further embodiment of the invention in that the auxiliary machines of the steam generator and the auxiliary machines of the prime mover are combined in two groups, each driven by a common motor, one of which with variable speed and the other with constant or almost unchangeable speed.
For example, the auxiliary machines of the condensation system, the cooling water, air and condensate pumps, the exciter of the generator and the fan of the generator or some of these auxiliary machines can be connected to the auxiliary group of the steam generator that runs at an unchangeable or almost unchangeable speed be connected. This saves the drive motors and drive turbine of these auxiliary machines and increases operational reliability.
The lowest possible installation is also desired for the auxiliary machines for condensation in order to obtain favorable suction conditions for the condensate and cooling water pumps. Your interconnection with the low-lying, the circulating pump containing auxiliary machinery group of the steam generator is therefore useful. This interconnection is also advantageous for operational reasons, because all auxiliary machines that have to run before the system is started can be started together beforehand.
The auxiliary group with unchangeable speed can also be coupled to the main turbo group directly or via toothed wheels, chains, etc. in steam turbines as the main engines. Instead of being directly coupled, the auxiliary machines can be linked and driven by gear wheels in such a way that each auxiliary machine runs at the speed that best suits it.
The auxiliary group with variable speed is expediently regulated depending on the output of the steam generator, for example by the steam pressure, by the steam volume or by the position of the control of the auxiliary turbo group, for example by keeping the steam pressure constant on the steam generator or downstream of the feedwater preheater is held while. the auxiliary group is regulated with a fixed speed when driven by a steam turbine, for example by a speed controller, or is driven by a motor with a fixed speed.
The auxiliary group with variable speed can also be regulated by changing the speed of the main engine or a variable dependent on it, for example by a steady-state controller.
In the figure showing an embodiment example of the subject invention, 1 is the Velox evaporator; the burner 2 receives air from the line 3 and the air blower 4, and fuel oil from the oil tank 5 through the fuel oil pump 6 and the fuel oil line 7. The heating gases flow from the combustion chamber of the evaporator through the line 8, flow through the steam superheater 9 and drive the gas turbine 10 and the blower 4. From there they go through the feed water preheater 11 to the chimney 12.
In addition to the gas turbine 10, the fan 4 is also driven by an auxiliary group or an auxiliary motor 13, which always intervenes when the power of the gas turbine is insufficient to drive or accelerate the fan. The gas turbine 10, the auxiliary motor 13 and the charge fan 4 form. together the charging group 1 running at variable speed.
The boiler water is pressed by the circulation pump 14 into the evaporator, flows with the generated steam from the evaporator in the. Steam separator 15, from which the water flows down to the circulation pump. The steam generated goes through line 16 to the steam superheater 9 and through the main steam line 17 to the main turbo generator 18 to 19. The condenser 20 of this turbo generator receives its cooling water through the cooling water pump 21, which is coupled to the auxiliary group II.
The condensate pump 22 and the jet pump 23 for the water jet air extractor 24 of the condenser 20 sit on the shaft of this auxiliary group II. In this auxiliary group II, the boiler feed pump 25 is also installed, which feeds the feed water from the feed water vessel 26 through the feed water preheater 11 and the The feed valve 27 for the circulation pump 14 presses.
The condensate pump and the feed pump can be combined into one pump. (This supplied feed water has a lower temperature than the cooling water of the condenser, which is why it is advantageous to introduce it into the suction line of the circulation group in order to keep the water sucked in by it as cold as possible and to make its pumping speed favorable.) The auxiliary group II further contains the oil pump 28,
which supplies the lubricating and control oil for the entire evaporator system or for the evaporator and turbine system. The auxiliary group II is driven by an auxiliary turbine 29 and controlled by a speed controller 30 with constant or almost constant speed. Instead of the steam turbine 29, a 1Hotor 31 can also serve to drive the auxiliary group II, or the auxiliary turbine 29 can never serve only as a reserve for the 3Iotor 31.
The auxiliary turbines 13 and 29 can emit their exhaust steam into the condenser of the main engine 20 or also into their own condensers. The condensers of the auxiliary turbines 13 and 29 can also work at atmospheric pressure, that is to say without an air pump.
