Device for descaling fish. The subject of the present invention is a device for scaling fish, which is intended in particular for hotel kitchens, but then also for households.
The purpose of the present invention is to create a device with which fish can be scaled quickly and completely by hand without damaging the soft meat and without residues of scales remaining on the fish body.
This purpose is achieved according to the invention with a device in which rows of teeth are arranged one behind the other on a plate. If this plate is guided under slight pressure against the free ends of the scales, i.e. from the tail end of the fish against the fish head, the scales spring off.
The plate with the rows of teeth is arranged before geous adjustable on all sides and resilient in a shell provided with a handle. The bowl prevents dandruff from being hosed off and the environment around the workplace from being polluted. The rows of teeth and the plate can be curved so that they adapt at least approximately to the broad side of a fish's body, so that a relatively large area of the fish can be scaled with each operation.
In the accompanying drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the device according to the invention are shown: FIG. 1 shows a view of FIG. 2 from below.
FIGS. 2 and 3 show sections along the lines II-II in FIG. 1 and line III-III in FIG. 2.
Fig. 4 shows a detail on a larger scale in section along the line IV-IV of FIG.
Fig. 5 shows a side view of a simpler model which is suitable for household purposes.
The device according to Fig. 1-4 has a plate 1 on which stands in regular From each other in the arch rows of teeth 3 are arranged. The teeth 4 of successive rows of teeth 3 are offset from one another. Each row of teeth 3 has a back in use the, gradually ascending back 5 and a front chest surface 6 'in use, which runs perpendicular to the plate 1 ver. The plate 1 rests on the head 6 of screws 7 which are provided on a hood 8 provided with a handle 9.
Between tween the cover 8 covering the plate 1 and the plate 1, a ribbon spring 10 is seen before, which BEZW a resilient connection between the plate 1 and the cover 8. Hand grip 9 manufactures and at the same time serves to collect scales that have been detached from the rows of teeth 3.
In use, the device is grasped with the handle 9 and guided from the fish tail over the fish body to the fish head. The spring 10 presses the toothed rings onto the fish body. The plate 1 can adjust itself to a certain extent independently of the hood 8. The teeth 4 grasp the scales at their free ends and push them against the scale root, where they jump off the fish body without leaving scales behind and without injuries to the fish body which could make the fish unsightly. In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, the spring 10 is missing, as is the hood B.
In use, the hand is brought into the handle 12 and the plate 1 is guided over the fish body again, as described above. The hand exerts the necessary pressure.
The device can be made entirely or partially from light metal, plastic, etc. The plate 1 could consist of parts movably connected to one another so that the individual elements can better cling to the fish body. The teeth 4. Could also be specially shaped so that they can more easily enter under the scales. You could be wedge-like.
