Kaminabschluss.
Chimney closure. The subject of the present invention is a chimney closure composed of several structures with air supply ducts, characterized in that these are arranged in such a way that they guide the air flowing through the chimney towards the outlet opening of the flue gases.
In the accompanying drawing, an existing embodiment of four structures is the subject of the invention Darge provides, namely Figs. 1 to 8 show the four belonging together the structure in plan view and in side view.
Fig. 9 is a vertical section through the chimney closure, placed on a chimney.
According to this example, the chimney closure consists of four stacked structures. Fig. 1 shows a view from above of the body 2 to be placed on the upper edge of the Ka mins 1 and Fig. 2 shows a side view of the same. This body has a square base and is traversed in the middle by the vertical smoke channel 3. On each side of the body has a recess 4 delimited inwards by a curved surface, which forms the inlet opening for the air into the air supply channel 5 below. A groove 6 running all around is used to accommodate a bead 7 of the construction body B to be placed on it.
This body, which is shown in Fig. 3 from above and in Fig. 4 from the side, is tapered upwards and has a rib 9 at each corner, which serves as a spacer for the next construction body 10, whereby the lower air supply channels 5 are formed. The construction body 10 is shown in Fig. 5 from above and in Fig. 6 in side view.
In order to offer as little resistance as possible to the passage of air, the channels 5, starting from the recess 4 and extending to their upper ends, are curved, curved, as shown in FIG. 9 can be seen. The outlet openings of the channels 5 are directed upwards, so that the air entering through these channels can exert a suction effect on the smoke gases. The structure 10 forms the outer wall of the lower air supply ducts 5. At the upper end, the body 10 has a recess 11 on each side, similar to the recess 4, which the former form the entry openings for the upper air supply ducts 12.
A square pin 13 is provided at each corner of the upper end surface of the structure 10. These pins fit into corresponding depressions in the body 14 of the chimney closure and thereby enable a good connection in the structure. The cavity in this body 14, which is shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 viewed from above and from the side, is shaped like a truncated pyramid, the pyramid side surfaces 15 forming the outer boundaries of the upper air supply channels.
The surfaces 15 can, instead of flat, also be curved towards the center of the chimney in order to ensure the best possible air guidance. These upper channels are also directed upwards, so that the air introduced through them into the chimney creates a suction effect in it. The upper channels 12 are shorter than the lower channels 5, and less inclined to the horizontal than the lower. There is a restriction in opening 1ö. arranged in the form of a crossbar 17.
With 18 small, provided below the pin 18 in the body 10 corner supports be distinguished, by means of which this body is supported on the upper boundary surfaces of the ribs 9 on the body 8.
The purpose of the chimney closure described is to produce a better air supply than previously known constructions for the purpose of increasing the suction effect on the flue gases and thus improving the extraction of the same from the chimney.
The present example shows two systems of air supply ducts arranged one above the other. However, more than two such systems can be arranged one above the other, whereby it is essential that the channels are directed towards the flue gas outlet from the chimney so that the air flowing through the air channels flows towards the outlet opening of the flue gases from the chimney is directed.
However, there can also be only a single air supply channel system distributed over the circumference of the chimney closure.
