Automatisch schliessender Tuben-Versehlufi.
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf den Verschluss,
Fig. 4 beim lierausstossen von Tubeninhalt,
Fig. 6 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 5 und
Fig. 7 eine Draufsicht auf eine Variante.
Automatically closing tube seal.
Automatically closing tubes - closures have become known in various types. In addition to a spring-loaded mechanism, a rubber nozzle has also been proposed. The rubber nozzles are the simplest solutions in terms of construction, but have the disadvantage that no airtight seal can be ensured without special sealing means, as is desirable when storing tubes with contents that can be decomposed in the air. The rubber nozzles were inserted in the tube neck and a special cover had to be screwed onto the tube so that the tube could be stored in an airtight manner. This version required a specially designed tube, while the possibility of using normal tubes is necessary in the interests of simplification and cheaper.
The subject matter of the present invention is an automatically closing tube closure which is intended to remedy the disadvantages noted in the design with a rubber nozzle closure. According to the invention, this is achieved by an elastic, hollow closure head with an attachment with which it can be fixed on the neck of a tube, the wall of the closure head being thinner than the rest of the area in the area of a point intended for the exit of the tube contents to increase flexibility Part of the wall.
Furthermore, this point is provided with a non-continuous recess, so that the li: opf forms an airtight seal before the tube is used for the first time, and that when the closure head is pressed together, the airtight seal is burst open when the tube is used for the first time and the tube contents may dry out the outlet opening formed in this way can be eliminated.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments, and they show:
1 shows a tube closure on a tube in section, closed airtight,
2 shows a plan view of the closure,
Fig. 3 shows the closure partly in view, partly in section, with the slit closed off and
4 when the tube contents are ejected,
5 shows the second tube closure in longitudinal section, closed airtight,
6 shows a plan view of FIGS. 5 and
7 shows a plan view of a variant.
According to the first exemplary embodiment, FIG. 14, 1 designates the tube barrel and 2 the outlet neck which is provided with the screw thread 3. These parts are of normal design of known standard types. On the thread 3 of the outlet neck is the elastic, z. B. made of rubber screwed spherical locking head 4, which is provided with a ring 5 approach. The locking head has one in the axial direction of the neck
5 extending cylindrical recess 6, which continues at one end in the ring attachment 5 and is provided there with a thread, and at the other end is limited by a: spherical cap 7 of the closure head.
The wall of the
The spherical cap 7 is kept thinner than the side wall of the locking head, so that the flexibility of the spherical cap is higher. The side wall of the closure head is expediently so thick that it does not bulge when the tube contents are expelled. The calotte has a non-continuous incision
8, as shown in FIG. 1. The tube is hermetically sealed so that the contents cannot be spoiled by the ingress of air even after long periods of storage. In order to open the closure head when the tube is being used, one simply has to squeeze it in the direction of the arrows A (FIG. 1), the I (a-lotte bursting open at the incision and a slot being formed.
After the cap has been broken open, two closure flaps 9 are created, which tend to remain in the closed position according to FIGS. 2 and 3. Immediately behind the spherical cap 7, the recess 6 is provided with an enlargement 10, the latter serving to improve the elasticity of the closure flaps. If the rear end of the tube body 1 is pressed in the usual manner, the contents of the tube push into the recess 6.
As soon as the pressure of this part 11 of the tube contents the elastic closing force. If the flap 9 predominates, the latter ettvas are pressed outwards and the slot 8 is opened, as can be seen in FIG. 4. The contents of the tube will flow out of the slot 8 in a thin layer until, when the pressure on the tube body is released, the closing force of the flaps 9 is greater than the internal pressure of the tube.
As FIGS. 5 and 6 show, the closure head 4 can also have a frustoconical shape. The incision 8 in the closure head cap is cruciform.
The same can e.g. B. also have the shape of a letter, as the variant Fig. 7 illustrates. This letter expediently coincides with the first letter of the trademark of the tube closed with the closure head.
The recess 6 in the neck of the head is provided with a thread 12 so that the closure head can be screwed onto the outlet neck of a tube. The thread 12 is expediently slightly conical in order to enable it to be screwed on, even if it does not exactly match the thread of the tube neck.
It goes without saying that the thread 12 can also be omitted. if the material from which the bolt head is made is sufficiently elastic and resistant. to adapt to the thread of the neck when turning the head onto the tube neck.
The closure described is suitable for tubes with contents of all kinds. Vulcanized or synthetic rubber is particularly suitable as a material.
The advantage of the tube closure described is that the closure head 4 can be produced for any commercially available tube. The closure consists of a single piece, and special closure lids are not necessary when the tube is not in use or when it is in use. : It allows the tube to be kept airtight until it is ready for use. The airtight seal can be opened by simply pressing the closure head 4 together without special tools.
Next prepares the clogging of the Aust. Rittschlitzes the closure practically no inconveniences. If it is clogged due to the special contents of the tube and its prolonged non-use by introspection, you simply have to squeeze the locking head a little in and across the direction of the outlet slot, and the dried-on mass is blown open, thus ensuring immediate opening.
The closure head described can be made of any material with properties such as rubber, e.g. B. made of synthetic rubber or cork.
