Device intended for processing floors. The present invention is a device intended for processing floors with a rotatably mounted, positively driven holder and with releasably attached steel chips.
The steel chip coils that have been attached to the holders up to now have the major disadvantage that they wear out much more on the periphery than in the center as a result of the larger work path during chip removal, which means that they condense into a solid lump in the center outer parts of the preferably round roll no longer touch the ground and thus the steel chip roll no longer works properly in a short time.
The present invention aims to remedy this disadvantage. The novelty is that in the central opening of a ring-shaped Stahlschänewiekels a like ver slidable is provided to provide resistance against the shifting of steel chips to the center.
In the accompanying drawing, some exemplary embodiments of holders are shown in an axial section. A Stahlspänewiekel 2 is arranged on the Hal ter 1 to be rotated according to FIG. 1, which is annular. In the central opening of the roll 2, a core 3 is inserted, which is pushed into the bore 4 of the holder 1 as the roll continues to be used (dash-dotted lines). The like 3 is ausgebil det as a sleeve that can be made of cardboard, plastic or the like chen.
This like. 3 prevents compression of the steel chip winding in the middle, caused by the rotation of the holder 1 about its axis. In the latter, pins h also protrude into each n winding 2 and ensure that it is entrained during rotation.
As Fig. 2 shows, can. the like 3 consist of a full cylinder made of wood or the same, which also deals with foxt-ongoing wear of the roll. 2 moves into hole 4. The winding 2 can be cut to the exact length from a strip produced in a continuous operation and placed around the core.
The steel chip roll can, as shown in FIG. 3, be conical, the core 3 also being designed as a conical sleeve provided with slots. In the interior of the steel swarf is a core 8 made of a rich material, such as crumpled paper or the like, is provided. The @Viclwl can, as Fig. 4 shows, be from a tape that is wrapped around the soul 8.
Furthermore, the winding 2 can have a stepped part 9 protruding into the holder 1 (FIG. 5) or consist of several individually replaceable, annular disk-shaped parts.
The roll is advantageously made in such a way that the steel chips have a preferred direction which runs transversely to the direction of movement and to the axis of rotation.
