Shaft sealing device, in particular for gears provided with ball or roller bearings. Known shaft sealing devices have a ring-shaped housing consisting of two halves, a pressure ring, a sealing collar and a wound round bottom.
The use of coiled round springs for pressing on the leather mansellette has the disadvantage that the pressure point of the spring lies behind the sealing edge of the sleeve lip resting against the shaft and the latter is sealed inside the sealing edge.
The present invention relates to a shaft sealing device, in particular special for transmissions provided with ball or roller bearings, in which this disadvantage is avoided. According to the invention, a spring ring pressing on the Abdichtupgsmanschette is arranged in a conduit housing and the spring pressure of a housing ring acts on it. The spring ring has spring parts which can move independently of one another and are located outside the contact pressure point of the housing ring, which form a flat spring which acts on the cuff sealing lip and ensures an adaptable seal.
The sealing lip of the cuff with its sealing edge is always pressed evenly against the shaft by the flat spring washer.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely FIG. 1 shows an axial section through a shaft bearing provided with the shaft sealing device, FIG. 2 shows a larger cross section through the shaft sealing device rod and Fig. 3 the individual parts of the shaft sealing device.
The illustrated shaft sealing device is made up of four parts, namely a housing ring 1, a housing ring 2, a spring ring 3 and the sealing sleeve 4. The spring ring is in the arranged by the parts 1, 2 formed sealing housing. The housing ring 1 is connected to the housing ring 2 and forms one to be sealed against. Shaft W too open ring housing. The housing ring 2 has a with reference to the housing cross-section diagonally inwardly directed against the shaft see angle 2 '.
The sealing sleeve 4 placed under the ring housing 1, 2 rests with one leg of the right wall of the housing ring 1, perpendicular to the shaft W, while the other leg forming the sealing lip rests on the The sleeve of the shaft W to be sealed rests. The obtuse-angled profiled flat spring ring 3 of the similarly profiled sleeve 4 is pressed by the leg 2 'of the housing ring 2 , the support by the leg 2' on the shaft W vertical leg of the flat spring washer close to the cuff bend.
Since the flat spring washer is pressed evenly against the cuff with its entire surface. The flat spring washer is provided with deep edge incisions on which the sealing lip of the collar rests on the profile leg, which are extended a few millimeters beyond the spring bend in the direction of Lis.
Through these incisions 5 spring, independently movable tongues 6 are formed on the flat spring washer, through which the sealing lip of the sleeve of the shaft W, which is directed slightly obliquely to the shaft W, is pressed so that the thief edge of the sealing lip is always evenly and securely connected to the shaft. Thanks to the flat spring washer, the cuff is always kept in the correct position and in the most favorable form for you.
The tongues 6 lie outside the contact pressure of the housing ring 2, respectively. des Schenlzels '2', which enables a good independent suspension of the former and ensures the adaptable sealing.
The arrangement of the shaft sealing device shown in FIG. 1 outside the Ku-, ella-, ers K aims at the exit of. Prevent lubricants. If the seal is to prevent the ingress of dust, dirt or spray water, the seal must be inserted in such a way that the sealing lip of the sleeve is directed outwards.
The described shaft sealing device is suitable for all types of shaft drives, in particular those which are provided with Kii-Yel- or roller bearings.
