Regulator device, with balance and hairspring, for timepieces. Regulating devices with balance and hairspring are already known for timepieces, constructed in such a way that the active length of the hairspring increases automatically for a direction of oscillation when the amplitude of the balance exceeds a value. predetermined to compensate for the decrease in period resulting from an increase in amplitude.
Among these devices, there are some which include two stops angularly distant from one another, arranged on either side of the outer terminal section of the balance spring and intended to limit the active length of this balance spring, at least one of which is these stops being adjustable.
The object of the present invention is a device of the latter kind, characterized in that the adjustable stop has two control units, one for coarse adjustment, the other for fine adjustment.
The accompanying drawing represents: - by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof and FIG. 2 an axial section.
The hairspring 1, of which only the inner and outer turns are shown, has its inner end fixed by a ferrule to the axis of the balance and its outer end fixed to the pin 2 itself fixed to the frame. 3 denotes the racket which can be moved angularly and concentrically to the axis of the balance to adjust the active length of the hairspring.
This adjustment, which is the usual adjustment, is completed by a compensatory automatic adjustment of the type described in Swiss patent No 220257, adjustment carried out by a device with two stops angularly spaced from each other, one fixed and the other adjustable, acting on either side of the outer end section of the balance spring.
The fixed pin 4 is planted in an arm 6 of the racket and the adjustable stop, intended to act on the outer side of the end section of the hairspring, is constituted by a key 5 mounted so as to be able to turn on its axis in a housing limited by a curved extension 6 'of the arm 6 of the racket. The key 5 has a planar contact surface 7 intended to touch the hairspring 1 along a line parallel to the axis, the distance from the fixed pin 4 of which varies according to the angular position of said surface 7.
Key 5 is attached to a finger. control 8 relatively short which allows only a rough adjustment of the angular position of the contact surface 7. But the key 5 is not mounted directly in the racket; its rod 5 'is mounted with high friction, thanks to an elastic washer 18, in the axial opening of a cylindrical head 9 presented by a curved lever 10, the cylindrical head itself pivoted with high friction in the housing of the arm 6 of the racket. The outer end of the curved lever 10 forms an index II which cooperates with a graduation 12 presented by the angled end 18 of the tail of the racket 3.
The lever 10 is slightly elastic and is dimensioned - so that the end of its index 11 rests with a slight pressure against the inner edge of the angled end 13 of the tail of the racquet - The lever 10 allows fine adjustment of the angular position of the contact surface 7, because it drives the key 5 in rotation and is much longer than the control finger 8 which is integral with this key.
