30 in Verbindung.
Process for regulating the water level in steam generators with an evaporation economizer. The present invention relates to a method for controlling the water level in steam generators that are equipped with upper drum and evaporation economizer. The invention consists in that a larger part of the amount of water to be fed in is passed through the evaporation economizer and a smaller part is fed to the steam generator, bypassing the evaporation economizer.
It is advisable to regulate the amount of feed water flowing through the evaporation economizer independently of the water level in the upper drum. It can be regulated as a function of the amount of steam flowing off or the intensity of the fire. The amount of feed water supplied to the steam generator by bypassing the evaporation economizer can be regulated as a function of the water level in the upper drum and possibly also as a function of the amount of steam flowing out or the intensity of the fire.
It is known that in the case of radiant boilers operated with natural circulation, the heat transfer through the heating surfaces connected to the natural circulation is relatively smaller compared to the corresponding heating surfaces of multi-drum boilers, so that the downstream contact heating surfaces that are no longer connected to the natural circulation system must absorb and transfer a correspondingly larger proportion of heat .
This increased heat transfer particularly affects the feed water preheaters through which flow is inevitable, as a result of which steam formation occurs more often in them.
Such steam formation has a very strong influence on the automatic water level control present in such boilers. Every change in the load on the boiler and also every change in the amount of water flowing through the feedwater preheater causes a corresponding change in the water content in the economizer.
This change is all the greater, the lower the operating pressure of the steam generator and the greater the relative steam formation in the economizer. These conditions mean that any change in the amount of feed water only affects the water level in the upper drum with a certain delay.
In known methods for regulating the water level in the upper drum of natural circulation boilers with feedwater preheating, the water delivered by a feed pump is fed to the economizer and the upper drum via a feed control valve. The water level in the upper drum is measured by means of a level sensor and the control pulse given by this is sent to the feedwater control valve.
In the case of steam generators with a relatively small water content, which are also subject to rapid changes in load, it has already been proposed that an additional control pulse from the amount of steam flowing through the superheater should act on the feedwater control valve and that the same should be set in advance to influence. In order to keep the differences in the upper drum of a boiler system as small as possible, the feed water control valve can be equipped with a flexible return according to known proposals.
In the case of larger boiler systems with several feed pumps, it has been proven to be useful to keep the pressure difference effective at the feed water control valve constant by means of a differential pressure regulator.
In these known control circuits, the delaying effect in the drum feed makes the control conditions much more difficult if steam formation occurs in the economizer. To achieve a stable control process, it is necessary in such cases to allow the control process to run correspondingly sluggishly, which leads to large temporary fluctuations in the water level which are undesirable from an operational point of view.
With the present invention, this disadvantage can be avoided in that the fluctuations in the amount of feed water that occur in connection with the feed water control are kept away from the evaporation economizer, so that optimal application conditions can be achieved. In addition, by using this control method, more favorable conditions for the water level control in the upper drum can be achieved, so that a quick control process with relatively small temporary fluctuations can be achieved. The method is explained below as an example with reference to the embodiments of boiler systems shown in Figures 1 and 2.
The feed water to be fed into the boiler system according to FIG. 1 reaches the preheater 2 via the feed pump 1, in which it is warmed up to close to its evaporation point. The two lines 3 and 11 are connected to the preheater 2. The wiring harness 3 leads via a control valve housing 5 and the supply. Binding line 6 directly into the upper drum 7 of a steam generator, which has a free water level 8.
The position of the valve body 4 arranged in the valve housing 5 is regulated by the float 10 by means of the transmission linkage 9 as a function of the water level 8 in the upper drum 7. The wiring harness 11 leads over a Re gel valve housing 12; and a connecting line 22 to the evaporation economizer 14 and from this via the line 15 into the upper drum 7.
From the upper drum 7 a line 16 leads to the superheater 17 and further via the line 39 to the point of consumption.
The im. Control valve housing 12 arranged valve bodies -13! is connected to the servo motor piston 19, 'whose. Cylinder 20 is connected to the control oil line 21. On the one hand, the piston 19 is supported by means of the compression spring 18 against the cylinder 20. The control oil line 21 is connected to the control slide 23, which is connected to a supply line 24 and a run-off line 25 for pressure oil. The piston slide 26 of the control slide 23 is with the membranes 27 and 28 of the pressure difference sensor 29 respectively. 30 in connection.
Both pressure chambers of the pressure difference sensor 29 are before BEZW. after a measuring orifice 33 provided in line 39 via lines 31 respectively. 32 connected. The separated by the membrane 28 pressure chambers of the pressure difference sensor 30 are via lines 34 respectively. 35 to resp. connected in front of the measuring orifice 36 built into the connecting line 22. The target value of the pressure difference required at the diaphragm 36 is set as a function of the pressure difference at the diaphragm 33, which gives a measure of the amount of steam flowing out through the line 39.
For example, if the amount of steam flowing through line 39 increases, the pressure difference between the pressures in front of and behind the measuring orifice 33 increases, so that the diaphragm 27 and the piston slide 26 slide downward. This creates a connection between tween the control oil line 21 and the discharge line 25-, whereby the Kol ben 19 is moved to the right under the expansion effect of the compression spring 18 and the valve body 13 is moved in the opening direction.
Corresponding to the larger amount of consumption steam flowing out through the line 39, a larger amount of water is therefore fed via the line 22 to the evaporation economizer 14 and the drum 7, which causes an increase in the pressure difference in the lines 34 and 35, which causes a Return of the mem brane 28 and the closing of the piston slide lever 26 as soon as the new equilibrium state between the feed water flowing in via the line 22 and the consumption steam flowing out via the line 39 has occurred between the membranes 27 and 28.
The relative adjustment of the two control valves 5 and 12 to one another is carried out in such a way that a larger part of the amount of water to be fed is fed through the evaporation economizer 14 and a smaller part is fed directly to the steam generator via the line 6.
In the steam generator system according to FIG. 2, the water fed in from the feed water pump 1 passes through the distribution lines 3 and 11 to the valves 5, respectively. 12 and from these respectively via line 6. Via the line 22, the evaporation economizer 14 and the line 15 into the boiler drum 7. From this the steam flows via the line 16 into the superheater 17 and from there via the line 39 to the point of consumption.
According to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, a measuring orifice 33 of constant flow cross-section is also installed in the line 39 in the example according to FIG. Before and after the same, the measuring lines 31 and 31 leading to the pressure difference sensor 29 are respectively. 32 connected.
The diaphragm 27 arranged in the pressure difference sensor 29 is connected to the piston valve 26, while the other end of this piston valve 26 arranged in the cylinder housing 23 is connected to the diaphragm 28 of the pressure difference sensor 30 connected to the measuring lines 34 and 35. is attached. The measuring lines 34 and 35 are after resp. connected to the line 22 in front of the measuring orifice 36.
The valve housing 23 is connected to lines 24 for the supply and 25 for the drainage of pressurized oil. From the middle annular space of the slide 23, the control oil line 21 leads to the servo motor cylinder 20, the piston 19 of which is loaded with a compression spring 18 actuates the valve body 13.
On the water level 8 in the upper drum 7, a float 10 is provided, which is attached to the one-armed pivot lever 40. On the lever 40, the transmission linkage 41 is articulated and connected to one end of the valve control lever 42. The other end of the control lever 42 is connected via a piston rod 43 to the servomotor piston 44 loaded by the spring 46, which is arranged in the pressure cylinder 45 to. The control oil line 47 is connected to the pressure cylinder 45 and is connected to the control valve housing 48, which is connected to the line 24 for the supply and to the line 25 for the discharge of pressure oil.
The control slide valve 50 provided with passages 49 is connected to the diaphragm 51 of the pressure difference sensor 52, the two pressure spaces of which via lines 53 respectively. 38 respectively with the lines 31. 32 communicate. Between tween the linkage 41 and the piston rod 43 is on the control lever 42 connected to the valve body 4 valve spindle 37 is articulated. By means of this arrangement, the float 10 BEZW. Control movements generated by the piston 44 are transmitted to the valve body 4 without mutual influence.
The relative basic setting of the two valve bodies 4 and 13 is made such that a larger part of the amount of water to be fed through line 22 and the evaporation economizer 14 and a smaller part is introduced directly through line 6 into the steam generator.
To explain the operation of the Re gel device according to FIG. 2, an operational state of equilibrium is assumed, in which the amount of consumption steam flowing out through line 39 is continuously replaced by a corresponding amount of water fed in via line 6 and preheater 14. If there is now an increase in the amount of steam consumed, the speed of the steam flowing through the measuring orifice 33 increases. This increase in speed causes an increase in the pressure difference in the measuring lines 31 and 32. As a result, on the one hand the membrane 27 with the piston valve 26 and on the other hand the membrane 51 with the control valve 50 is pressed downwards.
The displacement of the piston valve 26 establishes a connection between the control oil line 21 and the discharge line 25. The compression spring 18 can thereby push the piston 19 and with it the valve body 13 to the right (FIG. 2), so that the amount of water flowing through the valve 12 increases.
The increased water speed at the measuring orifice 36 causes a greater pressure difference in the measuring lines 34 and 35 and thus in the two pressure chambers of the pressure difference sensor 30, whereby the membrane 28 leads the piston 26 upwards and the connection between the control oil line 21 and the Lines 24 and 25 interrupted,
as soon as the new between the amount of water flowing through line 22 and the consumption steam flowing through line 39 is established.
By moving the control slide 50 downward, a connection is established between the pressure oil line 24 via the bore 49 with the valve housing 48, whereby pressure oil flows into the valve housing 48 and through the control oil line 47 into the servomotor cylinder 45 until the increased pressure difference acting on membrane 51 with the pressure difference acting on control slide 50,
increased oil pressure is in equilibrium. The piston 44 is thereby pushed downward against the pressure of the spring 46, with each pressure level of the control oil in the line 47 corresponding to a certain position of the piston 44 that is dependent on the characteristics of the spring 46. As a result of this movement of the piston 44, the control lever 42 on the linkage 41 performs a pivoting movement in the counterclockwise direction, whereby the spin del 37 moves the valve body 4 in the opening direction.
The amount of feed water conducted through the valve 5 via the line 6 into the drum 7 increases.
The regulation of the valve 5 achieved as a function of the amount of steam flowing out through the line 39 has the character of a preset. The amount of water fed into the drum via the line 6 and the evaporation economizer 14 will, if a corresponding amount of saturated steam does not flow out via the line 16, cause the water level 8 to rise, so that the float 10 rises and over the rod 41 a Schliessbewe movement of the valve body 4 initiates.
It would be possible to equip the control valve 5 with a resilient return, and it could be provided, especially when there are several feed pumps 1, a pressure differential control by means of which the pressure difference acting on the control valve 5 is kept constant. The connection points of the lines 6 and 15 for introducing the feed water into the steam generator could be provided at other suitable Stel sources than those shown in the exemplary embodiments. The installation of the measuring orifice 33 is also not tied to the location shown in the exemplary embodiments, since the line 16 or the superheater 17 can also be considered for this, for example.
Instead of regulating the valves 5 and 12 mechanically or hydraulically, this could be done pneumatically, electrically, etc. Instead of the piston valve 26 and possibly the control valve 50 by means of a pressure difference sensor by the outflowing amount of steam to affect sen, it would be possible to act sen another control pulse on this slide, z. B. the fire intensity or related control variables, such as the amount of fuel, the amount of combustion air, the amount of flue gas, etc. The control pulses could possibly be used to regulate the power of the drive machines connected to the feed pumps 1 to replace the control of regulating valves 5 and 12, which thereby can come to an end.
If several feed pumps are provided for the boiler feed, a number of these could work on valve 5 and the other pumps could work independently of the former on control valve 12, which measure could reduce the throttle losses to a minimum.
