Dr uckgassehalter.
Pressure gas holder. The main patent relates to a pressurized gas switch with extinguishing of the cut-off arc by flowing pressurized gas, which is blown into a storage space during the cut-off process through the jet nozzle of an ejector in the jet direction thereof. The end of the storage space facing away from the collecting nozzle of this ejector is led back into the suction opening of the same ejector.
The present invention is concerned with a further development of the compressed gas switch according to the claim of the main patent and consists in the fact that the discharge channel through which the switching gases are blown out of the switching chamber who is in the jet nozzle de ejector. ends and the recirculated storage space, seen in the direction of flow of the compressed gas during the filling of the storage space, is arranged behind the switching chamber, in which the contacts are separated.
In the exemplary embodiment of the present invention shown schematically in the drawing, the lower switch pole 1 is built on an insulating cylinder 15 which can contain the drive device for the movable contact 5. The compressed gas flows through the insulating tube 16 on the side of the lower switch pole 1 into the switching chamber, which is delimited by the insulating cylinder 3.
The upper switch pole 4 is designed as a hollow contact and the outflow channel ends directly in the jet nozzle 6 of an ejector. The limited by the metal cylinder 8, 11 and the hood 10 storage space is returned through the suction opening 12 and the catch nozzle 7 of the ejector. During the switch-off process, the compressed gas flows in the direction of the solid arrows into the switching chamber and when contact 5 is open (dashed position)
through the hollow contact 4 into the storage space. There the compressed gas, mixed with the switching gases, is circulated in the direction of the solid arrows until the flow speed in the jet nozzle 6 has dropped to a sufficiently low value. The entire storage space recirculated in itself is located behind the switching chamber, in which the contacts are separated, as seen in the direction of flow of the pressurized gas while the storage space is being filled.
As can be seen from the drawing, this design has the advantage that a switch with a storage space in which no circulation of the pressurized gas takes place can easily be converted into one with circulation. It is only necessary to weld the metal cylinder 8 provided with the openings 22 to the hood 10, which cylinder 8 is provided with the collecting nozzle 7 at its opposite end. Of course, you have to attach the suction opening 12 forming the ring-shaped recess in the upper switch pole 4.
The exhaust openings through which the storage space is emptied after it has been switched off can connect the storage space directly with the open atmosphere. The exhaust openings can therefore be attached in the outer cylinder 11, for example. Preferably, however, the storage space itself is not provided with any special blow-out openings, but rather is laid in the pressure gas supply line, so that the storage space is emptied through the switching chamber and the pressure gas line 16 in the direction of the dashed arrows.
However, so that switching off in rapid succession is possible with switches with automatic short-circuit switching on and off, the storage space must be able to empty even when the contacts are closed. For this purpose, additional recesses are made in at least one of the con tacts 4, 5, which connect the storage space even when the contact 5 is closed with the switching chamber. Advantageously, the hollow contact 4 opening into the storage space is designed as a fixed contact and the movable contact 5 as a pin or block contact, the recesses for venting the storage space in the block contact 5 being provided. These recesses can be z.
B. in that the contact 5 is equipped with ribs 25 at its end facing the hollow contact and rests with these ribs on the hollow contact 4. The spaces between these ribs then connect the jet nozzle 6 respectively. the attached in contact 4, leading into the storage space outflow channel even when the contact 5 is closed with the Schaltkam mer, whereby the emptying of the storage space is ensured.
