B. abgezweigte Heiss gase über 651 der Mischungsstelle 80 zuge führt und mit den abgekühlten Verbrau chungsgasen (79) gemischt; der Luftvorwär- mer L2 wird dann beispielsweise von den Mischgasen im Zustand 80 beaufschlagt. Die Gase können nach Durchströmen eines Teils des Luftvorwärmers L2 nochmals mit .rest lichen abgezweigten, Heissgasen gemischt werden;
Heat and power generation plant. By connecting a gas turbine system to a combustion system, it is known that a Heiz-graft @ plant can be created that delivers power at high levels of efficiency.
In a furnace, the flue gas temperature is usually so high immediately after combustion with the usual excess air numbers that neither a direct power generation in a turbine nor a transfer to a work equipment used for power generation via a heat exchanger is possible.
The invention consists in that in a heat and power generation system, an innovation system with a gas turbine unit is combined in such a way that
that the combustion gases of the furnace first give off part of their heat to a substance that is at least partially in a liquid state and, after this temperature reduction, experience a further temperature reduction for the purpose of generating mechanical power in the gas turbine unit. The liquid, e.g. B.
Water or the liquid from a melting process can be identical to the useful heat transfer medium, or it can transfer the heat it has taken over from the furnace to one.
The temperature reduction for the purpose of power generation can take place via a gas heater, in which the fire gases heat a compressed and, under certain circumstances, pre-warmed gas, which then does work in a gas turbine. Air is the most suitable gas here. The heat from the gas turbine can be used to preheat the combustion air.
In the case of air as the turbine working fluid, the turbine exhaust air can be used directly as combustion air, if necessary after prior cooling in an exchanger,
the heat to the liquid or to the turbine working fluid for the purpose of preheating or to the useful heat consumer. Such a cooling is often necessary in order to avoid excessive grate temperatures. The air flow rate is usually predetermined by the excess air ratio and the combustion temperatures. In order to extract the greatest possible power from the turbine,
the delivery rate of the same can be chosen to be arbitrarily larger than the amount of combustion air, with the excess turbine exhaust gas quantities (exhaust air) being able to transfer their residual heat to the liquid or the useful heat consumer. They are preferably separated from the fuel gases so that they can be cooled more deeply than the fuel gases. Such a deep cooling of the combustion gases is not possible because of sulfur deposits.
It is often advantageous to send only part of the fire gases through the liquid exchanger and the remainder, bypassing the same or part of the same, to the remaining fire gases after the liquid exchanger. to be mixed in in an intermediate area of the same or in an intermediate area of the downstream gas or air heater.
It is also often expedient to mix part of the turbine exhaust gases (exhaust air) with the fire gases at any point; This can be of advantage, especially at part load, to regulate the temperature before or after the air heater.
. Since it is a thermal power plant, the cooling heat of the compressor can often be used usefully, which can be done by delivering it to the useful heat consumer or, when using a liquid, by adding it to the liquid of the high-temperature exchanger. Finally, the heat and power generation system can be equipped with a heat pump unit,
which enables, in connection with the gas turbine, a certain percentage of the equivalent of the pumped-up heat as useful power or useful heat without increasing the fuel heat to create respectively. to ensure fuel savings in the combustion system. A heat pump effect can also be achieved without an actual heat pump system by having a. Part of the gas turbine expansion is relocated to the area of lower temperatures.
In addition to the high-temperature heat dissipation to the liquid, both exhaust gases and exhaust air can be further heat to the same or. give off to a useful heat transfer medium.
The partial load regulation of the power can preferably take place by diverting part of the gas turbine delivery rate by at least one individual stage of the turbine; speed control of the compressor and at least some of the turbine stages can also be seen.
The accompanying drawing shows schematically an embodiment of a heat and power generation system, which ben the method for producing such a system forms the subject of the present invention.
The water (or another liquid) is preheated in the preheaters B1, BZ and Bä (states I-I ', F-I ", I" -II) and brought to the consumer temperature in the furnace D (II-III). The water in the partial consumer H, (IV-V) gives off its useful heat to the consumer H . The fuel is burned on grate C.
In the combustion system D, the combustion gases first give off some of their heat at high temperatures to the water and then to the air system for conversion into power in the air heaters L and L2.
The compressor K is assumed to be cooled; through coolers U, which are provided at several stages of the compressor K, water or air, for example, is passed as coolant (for example cooling stages ab and bc), which the heat absorbed in the cooler in part H, of the consumer H </ I> (de) can also give it to the consumer.
The air compressed from 0 to 9 in the compressor K reaches the air preheaters L, (30-39) and L2 (40-49) and from there to the turbine M (50-59), which controls the generator N and the Compressor K drives. The compressor K can also drive separate to, for. B. by a turbine part of the tur bine JH obtained. The exhaust air from turbine D'1 (59) is now divided into two partial flows: One is in the combustion system,
it is fed in state 60, used as combustion air after it has given up heat to the fresh water in the preheater B3, for example. Coal, for example, is burned on the grate C. Some of the combustion gases (61) reach the air preheater L2 via the water exchanger (61, 65, 79). Before entering L "z.
B. diverted hot gases via 651 of the mixing point 80 leads and mixed with the cooled consumption gases (79); the air preheater L2 is then acted upon by the mixed gases in state 80, for example. After flowing through part of the air preheater L2, the gases can be mixed again with .rest union, branched off hot gases;
for this purpose the gas flow in the preheater Lz is interrupted at 81, and the gases are mixed with the hot gas residue branched off via 652. The mixed gases then act on the remainder of the preheater L2 in state 82 and leave the same in state 85 in order from there to the gas part of the air preheater L. which you leave in state 89.
The exhaust gases from the preheater L1 still flow through the water preheater Bz (90-99), for example, in order to then escape into the chamber, for example. But you could also give off heat to the consumer beforehand. The best air from the combustion air at 59 flows directly to the air preheater L1, which it flows through from 850 to 890.
From L ,. .The air reaches the partial water preheater B, (900-990). Finally, the remaining air heat in partial consumer H3 (991-999) is given off to consumer H. In the preheater L and in the following flow path, the combustion gases (85-89-99) are separated from. the exhaust air (850-890-990),
in order to be able to use the exhaust air down to lower temperatures than the exhaust gases.
There is also a heat pump system that raises heat from a low temperature level to at least that of the consumer.
P means an evaporator, Q a vapor compressor, pure condenser, S an EgpansiGns- machine and T a pressure destruction valve. Provided. the heat pump works with evaporation,
the expansion machine S is omitted and the pressure in part T alone is destroyed. The heat extracted from the low temperature level in the evaporator P (ambient air, water from lakes or rivers, etc.) as well as the compression heat from the compressor Q are given in the condenser R to the liquid or gaseous medium (preferably water or air), which absorbs heat in the condenser R (change of state fg)
and the same at least partially in the partial consumer Hz gives off to the consumer H (9, h) # The turbine S drives a generator W. T 'represents the drive motor of the heat pump compressor.
In place of the steam heat pump system, which was assumed in the figure, can. an air or gas heat pump system can also be used, in which case the compressor Q means, for example, a rotary compressor, R and P means heat exchangers and S means an air or gas turbine.
In the case of air, it can. the evaporator P omitted; then the atmosphere takes its place. The compressors K and Q can be assembled in the case of the same working media, likewise the turbines M and S (in which, for example, the compressor Q is built as a stage or stage group of the compressor K).
Instead of air, another gas can also be used in the gas turbine system; Between 59 and 60 an additional exchanger can then be switched on, which transfers exhaust gas heat to the combustion air.
Furthermore, the concept of the invention can also be implemented by other circuits who the; it can also be operated with a closed circuit, for example. The drive and clutch ratios of turbines and compressors can also be any. Furthermore, other fuels, liquid or gaseous, can be used instead of coal. A gas turbine system with internal combustion can also be considered.
The combination of air turbine and heat pump can also be done in such a way that instead of a separate heat pump system, at least some of the air turbine stages are charged with air at such a low temperature that the outlet temperature of this stage group is below the temperature of the environment.
There are also advantageous solutions for driving with reduced performance or with reduced useful heat output. With reduced useful heat demand on the consumer can z. B. first switched off the heat pump system or switched directly to refrigeration (air conditioning). When the heat pump system is switched off (e.g. uncoupling of the compressor Q), there is an excess of the useful power released to the outside.
However, if this is to remain constant, which can be required especially in the case of single-shaft operation (without its own drive motor V for the compressor), the output of the turbine M must be reduced at the same time. This can generally be done by reducing the air flow rate (by throttling or by lowering the speed of the compressor K, which may run on its own shaft, or by parallel bypassing) of the turbine M.
In order not to influence the water side, the amount of combustion gas that flows through the water heater (D) (path 61-79) can be kept constant and only the amount of air diverted (59-850-999) and, to reduce the tem - to keep temperatures at least approximately constant, the amount of fuel gas branched off (path 61-650-80 or 61-652-82) is reduced.
If the total amount of fuel gas branched off and the total amount of air branched off is fully throttled, and if the air turbine output is to be further reduced without affecting the water system, or if the total amount of air conveyed is not to be significantly changed when reducing output, then the air turbine M is at least partially bypassed by a parallel path by opening the slide 0.
Conversely, with the help of the branches described and their regulating elements (drawn slides and flaps), the water side can be regulated with constant air output or constant total load. It is therefore possible to regulate the water side, the air side and the heat pump side independently of one another or with a certain predetermined dependency.
The invention also includes the method for producing a heat and power generation system, according to which an existing combustion system is combined with a gas turbine unit in such a way that the combustion gases from the combustion system first convert part of their heat to an at least partially liquid substance release and after this tempe rature lowering experience a further temperature decrease for the purpose of generating mechanical power in the gas turbine unit. To the heat shortage,
which by releasing part of the furnace heat to the air respectively. Gas turbine system and by converting it into mechanical energy to replace it in whole or in part, a heat pump unit can also be switched on or, instead, part of the turbine expansion can be relocated to the area of lower temperatures, which also creates a heat pump effect.
By expanding to a system according to the example shown, additional power or additional heat can be achieved compared to the original furnace location without additional fuel heat requirement or, conversely, fuel savings can be achieved with the same useful heat.
Instead of placing the gas turbine as an air turbine between 50 and 59, as in the figure, it could also be partially or entirely placed as a fuel gas turbine at the outlet of the water heater at 79. In the latter case, L2 would be superfluous.
