Door. Doors are known which have a skeleton made of wooden slats arranged in a crisscross manner, because both visible surfaces are covered with veneer panels or the door body consists of a blockboard. In the first-mentioned embodiment, such a skeleton usually has a wooden frame running around it. These door bodies have the disadvantage that the end faces of the veneer panels peel off or crumble off; making the edges of the door unsightly.
The same defects also occur in doors made of blockboard, where end-grain wood appears on the edges. The two types of embodiment used for the door body, a skeleton surrounded by a frame, of the type specified above, covered on both sides with veneer panels and also a joiner's panel, are hereinafter jointly referred to as plywood bodies.
The subject matter of the present invention remedies this drawback; It relates to a door with a door body consisting of a plywood body and a metal frame, characterized in that the metal frame comprises the plywood body at least at the top and on both sides, the frame profile having two legs on the side facing the plywood body which form the edges of the plywood body to grasp and wherein the frame above and on both sides has an outward leg that overlaps the inner ganten of the fixed door frame.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention and various variants thereof are Darge, namely: Fig. 1 is the view of the door.- Fig. 2 is a section along the line 4-A in Fig. 1, Fig. 3 a Similar section to FIG. 1, but through a variant of the door frame. Fig. 4 is a section along line B-B in Fig. 1 through a hinge.
Figure 5 is a similar section through a variant of the hinge. Fig. 6 shows a section along the line C-C in Fig. 1 through the door latch and Fig. 7 shows a section along the line D-D in Fig. 1 through the base part of the frame. Fig. 8 shows a section through another embodiment of the hinge.
FIGS. 2 to 8 are shown on a larger scale compared to FIG.
The door body according to FIG. 1 has a skeleton 2 provided with a frame 2, both made of wood. Frame 1 and skeleton are covered on both sides with veneer panels 3, and the whole thing is framed on all sides by a metal frame, the profile of which has two legs 4 facing the center of the door, encompassing the edges of the plywood panels 3 and a web 5 connecting the outer earths of these legs .
The upper part and the side parts of this metal frame also have an outwardly directed leg 6 which serves to overlap the door frame 7. If the door opening has a threshold, the leg 6 can also be carried out on the lower, horizontal frame side.
As Fig. 2 shows, the outward leg 6 is flat on both sides and rounded at the free end, and the Metallrah men is connected to the skeleton frame 1 by wood screws 8 which are screwed through the web 5 in the frame 1 a related party.
In the variant shown in Fig. 3, the leg 6 is a curved view surface. In order to fasten the metal frame to the door body, wood screws 9 which go through the legs 4 and penetrate into the skeleton frame 1 are provided in this case perpendicular to the door surface.
4 shows a cross section through a metal frame with a hinge part 10 for hanging in a hinge 11. In the event that the metal frame with the hinge part 10 is made of light metal, for example aluminum, an aluminum alloy or some other soft metal, it is necessary to have a sleeve 12 made of a resistant material in the hinge part 10 for the fishing guide to use. The hinge part 10 has a projection 13 which is set in a pre-gerich ended recess in the metal frame and is welded to this.
The weld seam is indicated at 14.
5 shows a variant of the fastening of the hinge part 10 on the metal frame, according to which both the leg 6 and the web 5 are excluded for the purpose of receiving the hinge part 10. The Schar nierteil 10 has at its approach 13 still a tab 15, the thickness of which is so dimensioned; that .sie fills the recess of the web 5. This results in a larger welding area between the hinge part 10 and the metal frame and thus a stronger connection between these two parts than in the example discussed above.
The U-shaped frame profile shown in Fig. 7 is used to frame the floor-side door edge for a passage without a threshold, as is often the case when connecting two rooms.
On this part, the frame profile does not have an outward (downward) angle. 8 shows a section through a door hinge with part 10 partially sunk into the fixed lining frame 7 and welded to it. A sheet metal 18, preferably made of non-ferrous metal, serves to line the recess 19. This recess 19 extends so far beyond the upper end of the door block on the door so that it can be hung up.
The door hinge part 10 could also be attached to a rail 20 attached to the door frame. The main advantage of this arrangement is that the installation of the door is quick and easy, and great precision is always guaranteed.
